After conferring with President Powell and our security advisors, the decision has been made to increase the threat condition designation and trigger a series of security precautions by Naval forces, as well as the LPI and Libertonian citizens, to increase readiness to prevent terrorism.

This decision for an increased threat condition designation is based on specific intelligence received and analyzed by the full intelligence community. This information has been corroborated by multiple intelligence sources. Recent intelligence reports that rogue elements within the Liberty Security Force are actively plotting against the state and seek to destabilize the Republic.

We are not recommending that events be canceled, nor do we recommend that individuals change domestic, work or travel plans. As we have in the past, we ask that Libertonians continue their daily work and lawful leisure activities with a heightened awareness of their environment and the activities occurring around them.

However, suspicious activity, loitering, and interference in security matters will be met with a swift response. Those within the House of Liberty will be required to comply with the instructions and requests of authorities in the heightened interest of house security. All citizens are asked to report any suspicious behavior and alert Navy or LPI officers to the presence of potential terrorists posing as Liberty Security Force agents.

The active cooperation of the Libertonian people, your cooperation, has been instrumental in preventing major attacks and maintaining the order we so often take for granted.
