My thread has been deleted? - Username removed - 08-23-2016

I am not sure where to post this, if this is not the appropriate place for it, I apologize and feel free to move it wherever.

I wrote a thread in Stories&Biographies called "Redfire, Red Hessians, Redroom" describing Redfire taking revenge on 2 Hessian pilots he has captured for the event in Stuttgard.

The thread has been apparently deleted, I would like to know why?

Is it because it describes how the two characters were killed? I took care not to post any pictures so people won't have to see any graphic content that might be disturbing.

Regardless, I would appreciate to know why my work has been removed without any warning.

Thanks.

Prolly should contact the leader of the opposing faction before doing RP around it.

It has been reported as abusive content, and was invisibled until final decision regarding the fate of the post. I'll PM you the contents of your post just in case.

Oh, if that's the reason then you could've just asked me about it.

I'll explain: yesterday when I was meeting up with a friend, these two Hessian NPC's disrupted the lane.

I thought I'd do some RP around those two NPC's, not actual player characters.

As you can see here.

I did not associate the two NPC's with any player, nor did I state anywhere that they have taken part in that fight.

Further inRP explanation: these two Hessians have fallen into Redfire's hands after a failed piracy attempt.

Redfire decided to take his revenge on them regardless of whether they had any links to the fight or not.

Is RP around NPC's considered metagaming?

I've already explained to Wesker, that this wasn't the case of metagaming.

Instead, I indeed found your thread... abusive. You know, not only graphic/visual content might be disturbing.

Ohh buhuu

I felt abused by a RP thread ... Right sure ... That was the reason...

Right.

The thread in question was reported for breaking this rule. At the time of processing it, only me and Thy were around. Since usually such reports require a moderator vote with at least 3 members and the only two people present were newbie mods, we decided to simply invisible the thread, send you a copy of your text until a third mod showed up to say if it was really violating it or not.

If that turns out not to be the case, it will be un-invisibled. Simple as that, mate.

Alright mate, it's understandable.

Soo... just curious. Destroing a station or a battleship is not disturbing... but that thread was? Traficking slaves or human organs is Ok, but that thread wasn't? I mean... in the game there are a lot of things that would not be OK if it was real life. But it's K in the game. And suddenly this short RP thread is not K, Huh...

Ok, that's understandable... but still.

Drug addictions, the trade of slaves, the merciless killings and blatant racism are all kosher but describing how one does these things is not ok?

We've had this argument before. There is still no concise clarity on the 1.1 rule.
