Good Gunboat Layout - Robert - 12-04-2008 hi all, i just bought a corsair gunboat, but iam completely new with gunboats, becouse i always fly a transport/heavy fighter. right now i need a gunboat layout wich fits corsair/order roleplay. but i was wondering, wich set up is the best for: -All round -Fighters -Caps if someone could help me out with this, then it would be great. thanks Rob Good Gunboat Layout - Guest - 12-04-2008 Ahh, corsair hmm? must be a Corsair breadbox Well then its easy, for all around: 7 corsair turrets and one basic missile turret for fighters: 1 or 2 missile turrets and 6 Solaris turrets. Never mix turret types. Use the corsair one, trust me. never use battlerazors or infernos, mortairs or such, they are not needed. Seem to me you're wrong about the Mortars You can easily mix weapon types, but it *MIGHT* throw off your aim against fighters. However, the speed of Gunboat turret projectiles are so high, it doesn't matter too much. My LH Gunship uses 4 Outcast, 1 Cerb, 1 Missile. However, I have not a clue how to arm a Corsair GB... Since it has 2 extra turrets. With six guns, he still has enough punch to take most enemy gunboats (other than the Scorpion or gunboats with quality forward gun mounts, if those exist). Good Gunboat Layout - Cosmos - 12-04-2008 i would use, 1-2 missle turrets, 2 Order and the rest corsair turrets, as you are a corsair using their GB use their weapons mainly. may i reccomend you buy you'reself a Titan aswell? the amount of Gunboats in gamma nowadays has increased by over 75% and thats not good for RP, as Titans are the backbone in the corsairs fighting force.
