[CLOSED] - Shelco - 09-05-2016

The following points i am stating are nothing but experiences and opinions.

Okay, i have been thinking about writing this for a long time now the thing i want to say is that i am geenrally concerned about Liberty.

1. Activity

Liberty is by far the most active house in the game and literally sucks the server activity into it, why is that so? Simple. Noob zone. What does a new disco player think if he played the vanilla? "I want to fly a Battleship" so they get one as soon as they have the money, and boom! one more Navy, LNS which could be a potential plus for areas that need more players.
This does (of course) not mean new players or players in general have to leave Liberty, it is a nice house but it lacks the quality, many players are good but not too many. Fewer players are "hmpf...okay" but not good.
The new players basically don't get a chance of leaving Liberty because there simply is too much that keeps them there for them it is "Woah, many players, awesome ships, great!" while some factions can only log if an oposing one is online *cough* Council *cough*, also, why would anyone go out of Liberty when it is the house that also gets Events?? When a house has so much activity why would you "supply" it? it is like feedin an obese baby.
I think we need to do something to make sure players can get out of Liberty to also experience all the things disco has to offer, Liberty atm is basically Vanilla with caps.
I look at player status to see where activity is so i know what char to log, of course Liberty has the most, i don't have a Liberty char which brings me to my next point, also, why would anyone go out of Liberty when it is the house that also gets Events?? When a house has so much activity why would you "supply" it? it is like feedin an obese baby.

What is my suggestion?

-More events in other houses
-Let new players get a new starting system OR any way to make sure they get out of Liberty for a while

2. The factions

I am currently thinking about creating a character for Liberty, not because i want to go there so bad but because all the cool stuff happens in Liberty! But then i remember my time as a Rogue Scylla LRD-"Haunted-House".
The problem there is easy to spot: The Liberty Navy, it is not only their number but also the WAY THEY PLAY:

Quote:it's only about gank or get ganked (...) When you think you get actually a fair fight in Liberty, one second later, 2 or 3 more hostiles are going to attack you -Legionnaire

and he is completely right, on one Unlawful there will be 3 lawfuls, being a pirate in Liberty IS or at least WAS no fun, example: I log my Scylla, 5 minutes later, 3 Dreads online. OR: You fight 1 Dread, nothing wrong, then, 2 Dreads uncloak in your butthole and shoot, WTF! Why would anyone want to play that??

I already warn new players who fly with LNS- XXX in their name before they buy a ship, i tell them that since there are so many LNS there is only few to fight so he would better stay away form dreads.

Of course there are pirates but...i doubt they can have a lot of fun being cloak-ganked all the time.

Liberty needs more balance on factions and especially not so much attention!

Again, this all was my opinion.

YES, PLEASE. Official events AND random events will help a lot, Outcast and SCRA events could boost them a little, indie events for traders(not sure how that would work, but im sure someone can come up with an idea) could boost activity for people who dont just want to pvp

Simply, there is too many factions and every new player who has no idea on how to start will be always part of liberty.

The problem actually is that new players dont know how and where to start actually, they expect the game to be something bigger, only to find themselve stuck to trading and mining. And when they get pirated, they get their asses whooped.
