Action Report for: Leutnant Lenora Schneider
Filed on January 30, 818 A.S.
Location: Bremen
Action Type: Repulsion of Coalition Forces (Class 3)

Today I received a distress call from several of our pilots, who cited a Coalition gunboat in Bremen as well as accompanying fighters. By the time I was suited up, we had already lost a capital ship, but the SCRA had also lost some of their own. The reports of the other pilots involved can elaborate better than I can, as they were too fully engaged to brief me on the situation.

When I arrived, the Coalition gunboat callsigned "Social Credit" was standing by, leaving two Insurgent VHFs and a traitorous Bergelmir to engage our forces, consisting of two other Wraiths, myself, and a Tigershark. Shortly after I engaged, Major General Rall arrived on the scene. We quickly downed the traitor, at which point the gunboat engaged our squadron of fighters, and we concentrated fire on it. Though it employed a sort of ion disruption field, our Hornvipers took a steady toll on it and eventually forced it to withdraw. We then turned our attention to the remaining fighters, and while we at first made progress they quickly learned that our pilots, excluding Rall and myself, found it quite difficult to damage targets they were not jousting. Making matters worse, Rall was forced to withdraw by pressing matters elsewhere.

After nearly half an hour of attrition, the Coalition managed to land a critical blow on our Tigershark and destroyed it. While the pilot is safe, our forces were not sufficiently trained together to compensate for Coalition stratagems, and despite superior equipment and numbers we maintained a stalemate for some time. Eventually, I decided that for the safety of my wingmen a retreat was prudent; we were doing little enough damage to the Coalition with great risk to ourselves, and we were not defending Rheinland proper. I was able to get away from the battle more quickly, but stayed behind to make sure that both pilots made it through the jumphole to Braunschweig before entering myself. The Coalition fighters briefly pursued, but quickly realized their mistake and fled without further engagement.

In total, our own casualties consisted of one capital ship, one light fighter, and pride. We did not repay this upon the Coalition, but we preserved what lives we could while doing what damage we could. I suggest additional training sessions... and faster response to orders.

Signed,
Leutnant Lenora Schneider

Guten Abend meine Damen und Herren,

Report from 22.1.817 A.S
I was in the bar on New Berlin planet. Suddenly came to me one trader capitan. He informed me about Unioner ship in Stuttgard, ship class unknown. I took my fighter on the parking and take off. I came to Bonn station. I sent message for Strausberg about the Unioner ship in Stuttgard and I flew to Stuttgard.
Jump sucessful, All systems on green. My ship was fine so I took the Trader Line to Stuttgard planet. After few minutes was my trader line disrupted. I spotted unknown ship AU-Matthias_Zevonen near the Line ring. I requested this ship for identit, but he was keeping silence. I flew a little bit close to him and I had seen Unioner bomber. I asked him whats he doing here. He responded only: for trader pirate. I informed him about his crime here, and I want to put him to Vierlande prison cell. He was very frustrated. I ordered him for follow my ship to Hamburg, and after to Vierlande. Never, he said. I given him last chance for long live in Vierlande cell or his ship will be destroyed. He wanted to fight with me, I saw it on his face. He refused his chance. Unlocked his weapons and he engaged me.
I loaded my weapons and returned fire. His SNAC was very dangerous for me, one hit to my hull and is end. On the other side, he was big target for my weapons. He had strong weapons but too slow.
I had to be careful when I was my shield down, but I was fine so far. After 10 mutes later,
The Unioner havent any bots. My ship had small damages, systems still on green. Some few hit to his shield, His shield was down and hull was on 23%. This was my chance, maybe last. I locked on his tail and opened fire with all Cannes. Finally was the Unioner destroyed by my gun. Unlucky his evac pod fled into the Nebula and I lost him.
After that I docked on Karlsruhe for ship repairs and ammunition. I got some Rheinland drink in the bar.
And that was nice day in the Rheinland

Subject: Third Patrol report

Mein Herren,

today's encounter was very... abrupt.

after flight training i was leaving Brauwnschweig when i got a call from a DHC escort ship about a hessian near New Berlin. i met with the DHC Bomber orbiting New Berlin. we had a quick talk about wich way the hessian went and if i would accept the help of the bomber. i accepted his help, and we set out the way the hessian had fled, to Frankfurt. once we jumped in system we immediately saw the hessian. she (the hessian) was bearing down on the jump gate at an alarming speed, and i ordered her to halt. i got no response and the hessian fled through the gate. the DHC escort and i perused.
once on the other side, we saw the hessian flee through the trade-lane and we chased him. However, half way throught the lane a VF) rebel appered and all parties jumped out seance we possessed only one fighter and one civilian bomber i contacted a reserve fighter and told him our plight. wile he was on the way there, the Volks Front fighter proclaimed the "because the [RHA] are so better trained then their volks front counterparts" that he would let the hessian do the fighting.
I must stress what happened next. the Cowardly and Fearful Hessian Ran away. i have never see such a display of cowardice from a hessian in all my days. she simply ran for the hills.
with to only foe left being the VF) fighter i didn't see why we couldn't give him a fighting chance, therefore, instead of ordering him swarmed with 2 fighters and a bomber, i proposed a duel, for the honor of the kanzler. he accepted the challenge and we began a one on one dual. in the end the VF) fighter won the duel, and so, true to our word, we let him live. it is regrettable that i lost all gun cam footage in the fight, elts i would have visuals to go with this report.

Flieger Xander Vogel reporting in.

My patrol began with a quick transfer from my transport, the Eisenkreuz, to my fighter aboard the RNC Strausburg. I was called in by Herr Flieger Hans Putzkammer in order to investigate an odd case of what seemed like a civilian female calling for help.. because of the military. Two Hessians were in the system at the time, and immediately moved to "support" this person. Putzkammer and I intercepted the ship, a small freighter with no IFF tags and a freelancer ID, in the asteroid field outside Bonn Station, but found that the freighter was already flanked by the two Hessians. This person then proceeded to divulge some nonsense story about how they were "a military officer incarcerated at Vierlande and escaping from Rheinland", but the only thing Herr Putzkammer could substantiate was that she was a fugitive, and we duly made our objective known to them. However, a fourth Hessian appeared, and the situation rapidly became untenable, so Herr Putzkammer began to order a withdrawal.

In the middle of this withdrawal, I was contacted by a Commander Austin Goodmen of the Bretonian Armed Forces. He was requesting the attention of the ranking Rheinland officer, immediately as it were, and Putzkammer made no objection to my continued communication with him. Goodmen had apparently sighted several Wilde in Omega 3, and as such, Putzkammer set course for that system with all due haste. The Wilde then moved to Omega 7 and seemingly disappeared, right before we arrived on station. Putzkammer and I continued on to Omega 3 just as Goodmen informed me that they had been spotted in Cambridge. Seeing as how that space was hardly under our jurisdiction, we arranged it so that our flight would guard the Omega 3 jumphole, in case they retreated back through it. We waited there for a good 10 minutes, to no avail.

That was until, of course, a Nomad Morph appeared through the ice field and skirted our formation, flying straight into the jump hole before we could react. Shortly after informing the Bretonians of this new development, they advised that we join them immediately in the Dublin system: the Wilde, several Nomads, and the "Joker" all appeared there in short order. So, under the auspices of Lord Admiral Nelles, Herr Putzkammer and I entered Bretonian space.

The situation in Dublin was already on edge when we arrived. Two fleets were staring each other down, composed of Joker's gunboat, a Wilde gunboat, and a whole host of fighters of all shapes and sizes, Nomads included. Our arrival essentially heralded the opening of hostilities, and the furball began. During the course of it, several squadrons of BAF and corsair fighters joined in, along with a mercenary or two. Almost all of them were destroyed in the battle; Nomad cannons and Joker's ship were plowing through the swarms like knives. Two cruisers, one Bretonian and one Rheinland I believe, appeared for a short period, but were attacked from the moment they showed up, and I know for certain the Bretonian ship was destroyed.

After slowly whittling down their fighters, all the Nomads and Wilde were destroyed, for the loss of a good number of Bretonian vessels; Putzkammer and I both survived. However, a Molly destroyer appeared before we could destroy the Joker's gunship, and it provided him with nanobot and battery assistance, prolonging the fight. Nevertheless, both ships eventually fell to our hail of guns, along with the contribution of a single Bretonian bomber. Herr Putzkammer and I both survived the engagement.

All in all, what would have been a skirmish with a handful of Hessians turned into an all out engagement in the middle of Bretonian space against the Wilde and their Nomad allies. Quite the patrol.

Flieger Xander Vogel reporting in.

Today's patrol was... eventful. After being jumped in my transport by a pair of Hessians, I rejoined the local RM units in my Wraith, but found that they were already being called on other business. This business had to do with a rampaging group of Corsairs, who were apparently claiming the planet Nuremberg, and in fact the whole Munich System, as their own, the aim being "food for our hombres." In any case, all available Kriegsmarine units assembled, which amounted to four fighters and a gunboat. Our flight of four consisted of myself, Herr Major Voelkel, Herr Hauptfreiter Weissman, and Herr Flieger Putzkammer. Putzkammer had to RTB with engine trouble shortly before we arrived in Munich, cutting us down to three.

I was sent as advance patrol and detected the Corsairs, a group of four, near the nebula. Our group went to hold a perimeter on the fringes of the nebula while the gunship, which we had rendezvoused with en route, held position above Nuremberg. The Corsairs, consisting of some three heavy fighters and a very heavy fighter, wasted no time in engaging our group.

What ensued was, naturally, a furball. Most cohesion was lost immediately; while orders from Herr Voelkel were to target the heaviest fighter, and thus the easiest to hit, the other three Corsairs ganged up on individual Wraiths, prompting evasion.

Mid way through the scuffle, a group of four Red Hessian fighters showed up, making it known that they would fight off the "barbarians" along side us. A noble cause for them, I suppose, but no doubt it was a temporary truce.

By now the scanners were flooded with near equal proportions of Kriegsmarine, Hessian, and Corsair units, and the furball became more of a blender. Needless to say it was more than hazardous; the sheer volume of fire and mines (along with plenty of ionic interference) resulted in my ship hitting several closely-knit nuclear mines simultaneously. The Wraith is essentially ruined, and will need more than a simple maintenance check this time around; it might even be fit to head straight to the boneyard.

<ADDENDUM>

Upon return to the RNC Strausburg, I encountered a lone Hessian fighter (one which was not involved in the fighting) trying to pirate several civilian ships, in planet orbit no less. I took off in a reserve fighter and moved to intercept, with the gunboat Lausitz launching from planetside to support. I chased him down to the Ruhrfeld before he could do any damage to the civilian (who was running in that direction as well) and had the Hessian make an about face and engage me just off the tradelane. A short firefight ensued; the Hessian was near beat when he tried to engage cruise engines and escape. A Mosquito missile kept him right where we wanted him. The Lausitz caught up and unleashed a salvo, which was, by now, overkill, and the Hessian was duly terminated.

... Unfortunately after that we had a hell of a time. Two more Hessian fighters, along with a cruiser called the "Ulm" were sighted in-system. The Lausitz and I kept track on the Ulm while warning nearby civilian units, including a "Leviathan" ship which was in the middle of inspecting gates. That ship was ordered to hold by Neu Berlin until the threat was neutralized, but it disobeyed that order and continued. It was just as well; it destroyed one of the Hessian fighters along the way, without loss.

In the meantime, a reservist by the name of Reber appeared in a bomber, so the three of us took up station outside the Ruhrfeld where the Ulm was sitting silently. A freelancer by the name of "Luka", who was encountered in a previous engagement with myself, identified himself openly as an SCRA operative, and joined the Ulm in the field. The cruiser then powered up weapons and charged our formation. I took the fighter while the gunship and bomber tried to tackle the cruiser, but it was to no avail; another Hessian fighter appeared before I could destroy Luka, and the Ulm breached Lausitz' hull in critical areas. Reber and I disengaged, outnumbered and outgunned.

Meine Damen und Herren,

During my routine patrol I have received some massages from traders who have been pirated by a hessian bigger ship. Therefore I jumped to my bomber and checked the situation. They told me he is in the Stuttgart system. When I took the lane to Stuttgart planet there I have picked up a hostile contact on my scanner- [RF]Enteigner. I jumped out of the lane and there he was. He was flying a pirate transport and he didnt follow my orders to full shop and was trying to cruise away. I had to act and teach him some respect to the military. I have managed to hit him only once with my supernova cannon as a warn shot. But he was lucky that he was near the cloud and he had fled there. So meine damen und herren I havent succeeded to take him to Vierlande but at least the trade route in Stuttgart was safe again.

[Image: 63988098.th.jpg][Image: 21190675.th.jpg]

After this I returned to Battleship Strausberg and took my fighter out. I have met the flieger Putzkammer on board and ordered him to come with me to a patrol. Durting this patrol we have met two hessians near the Frankfurt jumpgate- Luka and [RHA]Petko.Dimitrov. They werent very talkable and after the greeting luka said: ,,For revolution and engaged me with full fire. But because herr Luka was shieldrunning very much, I have changed the target to Herr dimitrov. His ship was destroyed quiet quickly , herr Luka was a harder one. He was only evading and evading near the gate. He engaged me only when I was talking. After maybe 10 minutes there came another vessel- Unlucky. He came very silent and I have noticed him only because his fire on me. It was and interesting sight to see corsairs and hessians cooperate agains the military. But anyway herr Luka was destroyed, after that the corsair saw that he has no chance and fled into the field. But it was not a clever one. After some minutes when we arrived at neu berlin planet he came to us and that was his mistake. In the meanwhile herr feldwebel Drum joined us and thanks to his mini razor shot the corsair bomber was eliminated.

After taking some minor repairs we continued to patrol the system and again we have found another hessian vessel who was pirating. It has a herr Kiril.Yanovski from the elite hessian group called Red Barons. After some words he tried to escape and he succeeded, we couldnt stop him. But herr Drum managed to give him a track divice to his engines and we could track his position. Thanks to herr Drum we cought him on another lane to Dortmunt station. Now he had no choice just to be arrested, but he didnt wanted to be arrested without a fight. I ordered herr Drum to take care of him. After some minutes of a hard fight, herr Drum managed to damage his ship very badly and now he was willing to come with us to vierlande prison.
Meine Damen und Herren thanks to Herr Drum we have managed to get the first Red Baron to Vierlande. Now its up to you what do you want to plan with him. But I can asure you, he can provide us with valuable informations about them, so we can defeat them all and bring peace and order to our space.

End of the report.

Subject: Continuing the report of Flieger Vogel, 31.01.818

-------------------------------------------------------

Sehr geehrte Piloten und Kommandanten,

I would take the liberty of continuing the report made by Flieger Vogel, starting with a minor correction.

The opposing force actually consisted of three Titan-class Very Heavy fighters, two of them flown by the highest ranking Black Sail officials, Elder Grimly and Buccaneer Karolis and a Gladiator-class Heavy Fighter. The Gladiator-class was our target, which was easy to hit despite its reputation as an agile vessel.

We continued plundering the nanobot supply of Herr Vega, who was in flight of the Gladiator Heavy fighter, with only Weissman left on my wing. The four Hessians who came in our assistance for reasons still unknown to me, refused to take my orders and kept hitting other targets. The Heavy fighter we kept targetting was resupplied by his comrades, we were successful at hitting him to an extent that all of the opposing force was left without repair tools as the four Hessians (who turned out the be three recruits, led by a simple Leutnant) downed one by one.

As Weissman and I were left alone, the Corsairs started concentrating on evasion and tactics in effect to preserve all of their wingmen, another Titan even arrived to restock some of their vessels with fresh supplies. The fight drifted into a nearby nebula, which was another advantage of the enemy force. I ordered a retreat, but Herr Weissman chose to stay and fight, regardless of my orders. Lack of discipline or heroism, not mine to decide.

The Corsairs gave all their supplies to a Titan-class fighter, flown by a pilot simply called "Berny". The majority of the opposing force disengaged, but Karolis attacked Weissman with some other pilot, I believe. Regardless, they sent Berny to challenge me in a skirmish, which I won. I managed to take in successful mine shots, several of them, turning his ship on fire. He was literally falling apart, when the rest of his wing decided to engage me, seeing that their assassin failed his task. He was successful enough at evading my projectiles though, that I couldn't get his ship down. Their engineers will have some trouble reassembling the pieces his Titan was turned into, regardless of the lack of life loss.

Weissman was shot down, but he too, managed to cause damage. I tractored his escape pod. The five enemy vessels, heavily damaged and out of supplies, chose to leave my grounded vessel in the nebula and flee.

The Corsair claim of Nuremberg was so rejected successfully. Our distraction, with a high price, managed to give time for the defence fleet to deploy, we also succeeded in bringing most of the enemy ships close to destruction, rendering an attempted assault literally impossible. The day had a bittersweet ending, even though two of us lost their ships, we managed to save a lot of lives altogether.

Guten tag meine herren. Today, I went out on patrol with Admiral Engels, Leutnant Schindler, Flieger Lehmann, Hauptfeldwebel Weissman and Admiral Malte herself. Herr Jansen, Herr Horstmann und Emperador also joined us briefly for patrols as well. Ein wing patrolled Stuttgart und en route to Hamburg to repel a possible attack until we were approached by a Liberty gunboat by the name of Lt.Roe. I in a bomber, along with Leutnant Schindler and Flieger Lehmann in fighters quickly fell into an attack formation and finally destroyed the intruder. How he got past Hamburg's defences along with most of the New Berlin system undetected (He did jump from Planet New Berlin) is frightening, however, we showed his error with the destruction of his vessel.

We continued patrols, and during that time, Admiral Malte scouted New Hampshire on the Carinthia. Ein wing responded to a call made by the Admiral of a Liberty cruiser that was deployed in the area. Jumping to New Hampshire, Leutnant Schindler's ship was destroyed, due to fire from the battleship nearby, however his pod was recovered as we awaited for the return of the Carinthia. Once the ship jumped out of the hostile system, I docked on our friendly battleship deployed in the Bremen system for repairs and debriefing.

From: Senior Agent Ansgar Freyberg, Marinenachrichtendienst
Subject: Operation Freiheit

Kommandant,

Yesterday at 1939 Zulu time, we have been informed about the destruction of a passanger transport vessel, which was shot down in Stuttgart by a medium-sized Red Hessian attack group. The ship, which had several members of the Bretonian social elite on board bound for Augsburg, jettisoned escape pods, on which the passangers have fled the exploding vessel. The majority of these pods have been captured by the Hessian terror squad, in whose hands their fate is either being used as a hostage or instant execution.

I was sent in to do a force recon of the area, getting intel on the size of the opposing force and their destination, preferably also neutralising whatever ships they had left behind. On my way to Stuttgart, I stumbled upon Hauptfeldwebel Gunter Weissman and Gefreiter Tanja Fessel, who were acting under similar orders.

We spotted the Hessian vessels, each registered to a recently emerged gathering of disorganised militiants, the Rot Front. Their lack of organisation was resembled by two facts: One being is that they maintained their position after committing their acts of piracy, the other being that both transport vessels with the civilian captives were still in the area, one of them was even unshielded. I managed to get a reading on the two PT-class transports, the [RF]Enteigner and the [RF]Verteiler, but the vessels immediately ran for it as they saw us approaching, using a vector that later turned out to be leading to a hidden terrorist base.

At that point, we couldn't pursue, as there were also two gunboats, the [RF]Furcht and the [RF]Bronevik, aswell as a bomber, piloted by Leo Trozky, who covered their escape. We however, did receive confirmation of the hostages and their vector of heading, which was later confirmed even further. The terrorist vessels left in the area, decided to prevent us from intercepting those transports by attacking us, which we retaliated successfully, forcing the hostiles to flee aswell.

The hostiles, under our fire, fled into a nearby nebula. We almost shot down the [RF]Bronevik, when suddenly a base appeared right in front of us. As an addition to that, three more Heimdall-class Hessian gunships unmoored, increasing the number of the opposing force to 5 Heimdall gunships and a Thor bomber, against two military fighters, me as an MND agent and a Bounty Hunter, who was in the nebula hunting for the Hessian bounties.

The ridiculously oversized enemy force however, started to crumble rapidly. We took out Troczky's Thor bomber, then went to shoot down the Heimdalls, beginning with [RF]Kornelius. An arriving reserve bomber, Ludwig Wolfram totally placed the odds in our favour. We destroyed the [RF]Kornelius, followed by the [RF]Furcht. Downing two Heimdalls in a minute made them pull out half of their forces, the [RF]Derzky and the [RF]Bronevik escaped the impending doom, leaving the last of their gunship, the [RF]Njord to be ripped apart by our side.

We downed 3/5 Heimdalls and a bomber, disabling the biggest part of the terrorist base defence. We didn't have the necessary firepower to assault the newly discovered installation, although our vessels were hardly hit at all. The captured VIPs are still held on the station, but a hit and run boarding operation could easily seize them again.

Meine Damen und Herren,

Today i woke up on the alarm in the barracks. I was told that there is a Liberty war ship in Hamburg system and its mooving towards planet Hamburg. Immediatelly i jumped into my bomber with [RM]Fw.Drum, [RM]Og.Schulz and [RM]_Iota. When we arrived at Hamburg we saw a giant Liberty Dreadnought:

We started to negotiate with it to leave Hamburg without beeing destroyed. But it refused the offer, so we had to act. I ordered to open fire, then it wanted to flee but it was too late. It was taking heavy damage from our antimatter cannons and after some minutes it was destroyed.
Meine damen und herren the mission was sucesful, the liberty invadors were defeated and the Liberty has lost again a capital ship. I hope they will soon notice that they cant match with Rheinland.
