Funny Thing that acctually happened - Qunitinius~Verginix - 08-18-2006
This is based on something that really happend to me as I was playing freelancer this morning:
Quintinius Verginix sat back in his chair, easing his defender out of the trade lane from planet Mojave. He had compleated a sucessful raid on a pirate base for the Liberty Navy and was please with himself as the cash was goood and the 6 prisoners would be a nice bonus from Battleship Yukon.
A police craft singaled him: "Freelancer Alpha 14-1, please stand by for a cargo scan."
He knew they would find nothing and so he continued around PLanet Los Angeles
As he neared the Yukon, he flew by Battleship Ohio which was on patrol in the area and he called in to say hello. The captain was polite and soon was on his way.
Verginix watched as the polic squad from before flew near the Juggernaught and requested to see the contents of its hold. This was weird, He thought.
Over the comm the polic woman cackled glee, aparent she had found what she was looking for.
"Excellent, drop the cargo and prepare to die" (This is a police patrio vs 1 Liberty BS and 3 cruisers).
"Negative, I will not comply" the captain of the BS.
The police fighter managed to shoot the BS once before she was obilterated
Verginix laughed to him self as he rose into the hanger of the Yukon
