Experimental Module Yokosuka - Kusari Uchugun - 10-01-2016 Experimental Module Yokosuka "Yokosuka plays a vital role in the production of military equipment and parts. It is a factory for development and production of advanced electronics and carrier purpose components. The module also hosts quarters for certain divisions in the Kusari Naval Forces." Background and History: Construction of Experimental Module Yokosuka started in 819 A.S, shortly after the foundation of the Republic of Kusari. Initially planned to serve as a containment unit for laboratories dedicated to research on highly dangerous fields, the station expanded continuously to answer the Kusari Naval Forces growing needs in research and development and in highly secured amenities for divisions such as the 66th Special Expeditionary Division and Tokkeitai Military Police. Yokosuka laboratories have been instrumental in the development of cutting-edge technologies such as Hyperspace travel or scanning disruption through joint ventures with Kishiro Technology scientists of the Kansai Research Institute. In 821 A.S, following the creation of promising prototypes, the Diet of the Republic of Kusari agreed to increase the funding dedicated to the development of Yokosuka, allowing the Kusari Naval Forces to contract Kusari Keiretsus with the construction of facilities dedicated to the production of various classified material, later revealed to be related to cloaking technology. Recent additions to Yokosuka amenities include several space modules exclusively dedicated to the personnel of 66th Expeditionary Forces. The 66th Division maintains a big section of the station dedicated to analyzing new information gathered by agents spread in the Omicrons and other regions outside of Kusari. The section also includes workshops for modifying military equipment to be better fitted for long-range operations. Access to these sections is limited to 66th officers and certain authorized agents. Following the publication of Jump Drive Technology by Kishiro Technologies in 833 A.S. and the timely discovery of the "Earhart" or "Ishigaki" system, Yokosuka underwent another transformation. Acting as main hub of the Kusari Empire for research, study and prototype development surrounding the previously unknown materials brought back to Kusari proper by various 66th Expeditions, Yokosuka remains a vital structure for Kusari for years to come. Docking, Clearance and Production: Docking at Yokosuka Experimental Module is permitted to all Kusarian law enforcement forces and Kusarian Keiretsu. Security checks are mandatory upon docking with the station. Certain parts of the station are limited to Kusari Naval Forces and Intelligence Division officers, any unauthorized trespassers found in restricted sections will suffer severe consequences. The Kusari Naval Forces and the station's administration by extent gain the right to revoke docking rights for any individuals and organizations without prior notice or warrant. Yokosuka is a hub for development and production of military-grade parts and carrier purposed components that are transported and outfitted to Naval Forces battleships during production. In addition, Yokosuka is capable of producing multiple prototype military-grade devices and equipment, ranging from docking modules to cloaking devices and long-range jump drives. However, acquisition and purchase of those devices is only permitted and allowed to law enforcement forces of the Republic of Kusari. All purchases and acquisition orders must contain valid evidence of identification, reputation and vessel information. Failure to provide these documents will result in the immediate denial of your order. Additional Information: Any inquiries, comments, or questions about the installation may be submitted directly to the Naval Operations Headquarters. Any disruption of traffic and movement in the vicinity of the the station will result in severe consequences and potential use of lethal force. |
