Born and raised on Manhattan, there is not much to be said about Jimmy's life, before he joined Freelancing Escorts and Repairs. He received education in a standard Libertonian schools and when he reached the age when he could get a piloting licence, he immediatelly registered in the flying school. His parents weren't happy about it at first, mainly because they hoped he would go to university, but Jimmy was one of the guys with a Dream. While he certainly was smart enough to pass the entrance exams to universities, he decided against it. He succesfully completed his piloting courses and obtained a licence for a ships up to Gunboat size.

The times after he got his licence were not very kind. The dull job of a transport pilot was not exactly what he imagined he would be doing, but reality has a habit of taking illusions away. For several long years he hauled boron and food between Manhattan and Pitsburgh. It was boring and monotonous work, so when he eventually saw a hiring notice from Interspace Commerce he immediately quit his job and applied for a position in IC. While he waited for their response, he took a few jobs as a freelancer, and he was surprised how much different it was. Sure, he still just transported cargo, but trading it by himself revealed him just how much of the profits was the company he worked for taking for itself. It was in that moment he decided to became a full time freelancer.

Soon after, he realised the life of a lone freelancer is a high risk - high reward venture. In an attemt to lower the risks, he joined FL-ER and it turned out to be his best decision so far. A lot of possibilities opened for him, and he used them well. Suppling contracts allowed him to make enough money for his first large investement, a Serenity full of gold ore. He managed to get it to New Berlin safely. Soon, he had anough money to afford a few other ships and eventually a VIP apartement on a Luxury Liner.

Not long after he joined the group, he got to know the other side of FL-ER, when he participated in the mission to Leeds. For the first time, he was carrying contraband and evading police. He was lucky colonel Redfire was with him that time. It was only thanks to his experience and knowledge Jimmy was able to bring the Munitions all the way from New Berlin to the Leeds, and bring many refugees back to Berlin.

During that mission, his companions encountered a large nomad, a Being Jimmy had never seen with his own eyes before. Meeting the nomad eventually led to the scouting mission into Omicrons. What he saw there worried Jimmy. It worried him so much he actually decided to dedicate part of his time to gather more information about Nomads.

As of now, Jimmy is focusing on prepairing his new ship, the Tuatha De Danann, for long exploration and scouting. His other project, mining and selling Iridium is coming along pretty good too. Jimmy is avare of Core's claim on the iridium, which makes him a little bit uneasy.

Another project he is currently starting is a space station in Coronado. He toyed with the idea of investing into something larger for some time already, but he never really felt any real reason to do it. Meeting Dr. Rush changed it. The scientists showed interest in researching a new means of FTL travel, something which is currently dominated by Ageira and Jimmy smelled an oportunity. He built a manufacturing facility for Cloak disruptor and Cloak construction, with a certain hidden area which will serve as a laboratory for Dr. Rush.

Jimmy is usually calm and collected, always thinking things through. While is certainly a good things, it makes flying fighters harder for him, because he is not used to fast paced, instinct driven decision making.

He is kind and friendly and has his own sense of morality. While he does not see smuggling as a problem per se, he would never smuggle Cardamine, Nox, or participate in slave trade. He has no love for pirates, but usually does not actively participate in actions agains them if they do not threaten him. That does however have one excpetion. Hessians. Their arrogant pirating in the Omega route together with their attack on Solitaire metropolis was too much for him to ignore.
