it has a big range and a high effectiveness(unlike the others which usually have only one of the two), but it sacrifices refire and uses way more powercore and cargo space on small craft EDIT: i forgot to mention, it also lasts much longer than smaller ones
because of the low refire it's good for far away slow torpedoes or bs missiles, at closer range something you can spam is better(from my experience)
