Kalhmera,

I would like to express my sincere gratitude for assistance that you have provided us during the combat interactions in Omega-55 and Rheinland. To be exact, I mean your help during the fight, when enemy forces were outnumbering us by 3:1 ratio. Our assets are able perform their combat duties even in such difficult conditions, but your help was much appreciated.

Until the last time, Custodi ware not involved into the business outside of the High City and planet Crete. We came to conclusion, that your organization is most likely having a good relations with the Dorians. I have noticed that people in Bretonia are calling Dorians 'Corsairs', I am not quite sure which term you have in use.

Now, I would like to ask you to provide us with the information about your organization and it's intentions.

Yours sincerely,

Greetings, and well met, Miss Kaya-san. I am Tokiomi Katagawa, the frequent representative of the Hogosha Association as a whole. If I need to go into details, the Association is the congregation of several families, syndicates, and organizations of various sizes from our House Kusari, all working together for the betterment of our people and the safety of our traditions and values.

The Corsairs, as they are known throughout space, have been long-standing trading partners with our kind, and coinciding interests have cemented our relationship into a strong bond from Planet Crete to our holdings in Kusari. We share common interests and business, oppose common enemies, and rejoice in common bounties of our craft and trade.
That the Corsairs might have communities that are focused on a planetside living is not out of our imagination, but to see said community with a marked identity to come out into the big space routes is a rare sight.
It comes as a concern that neither the Oyabun Council, or any of the ranks of the Associates, has ever heard of this High City, or about any isolated regions in Crete. I must conclude it has been our fault to not take greater interest in exploring the homelands of our friends in detail, letting these peculiar details pass us unnoticed.

Our Association strives to maintain its good relations with the people of Crete as a whole, and to provide with materials and business opportunities in places where the Corsairs, as we call them, may be shunned.

Having said that, I would like to ask you for more details regarding this community of yours, what sort of deeds have you practised so far, and what made you decide to head out to the stars above.

With our cordial regards.
Tokiomi Katagawa, representative of the Hogosha Association.

Please, forgive me for delay.

I want to thank you for fulfilling my request, this data will be added to our database. I'm really glad to see that you have some bits of informations about the High City and informed quite well about the Corsairs. Of course, your good intetions are also being noted and we are looking forward to establish a proper business relations with you. It will be interesting to learn more about your people in time.

For now, our main goal is to find a proper source of agricultural products to begin our own project of solving the main problem of planet Crete. We are currently preparing logistic and warehouse systems. Everything else can be discussed after, this is a question of the first priority at this moment.

On the side note, I may be busy in coming days. In the worst case, General Agustopolos will take care of this communication.

Yours sincerely,

W have received your message, and noted your concern regarding the conditions of Planet Crete. Indeed, fate has not been kind to the genesis of the community of the planet, and they endured many years without suitable sustenance that could make them prosper.
Fortunately, times have changed since then, and the Hogosha, alongside Samura, Farmers Alliance, and many other friends from the House of Kusari, have diligently brought to the Cretans thousands of tons of foodstuffs and agricultural produce each year, in a gesture of friendship and trade. It is with great interest that we hear of your intentions of remedying your local shortages through a dedicated project. It is unlikely we could solve world hunger overnight, but a first step is always essential for it to succeed.

I cannot say the Hogosha as a whole are well versed in the affairs of cultivation, or the way of the land. We know however, of a few contacts with the Farmer associations of Kusari, who have centuries of renowned and successful history under their belts. You will find in annex some contacts to get you in touch with them. Tell that the Hogosha send their regards.
In a related matter, there was some discussion a few months ago of a joint venture between Kusari and Corsair parties in exploring a potentially bountiful Planet in the Sigma cluster, called Saigon. This planet can be the key to solve many issues that have haunted our partners in recent years. You can find more information by consulting with other prominent Corsair spacefaring organizations.

With our cordial regards.
Tokiomi Katagawa, representative of the Hogosha Association.
