I see a lot of powertraders making their routes from NB -> Kyushu and back, or something similar. How not to be a powertrader? Well, first think about where you get materials from. Usually, you sign contracts with the commodity traders on NB, etc. You can also mine or get the commodities in some other way. Second, think about your ship, say a transport. There is no way you alone can control a ship so large, so you need to hire crew members. 3 or 4 will do: you control the ship, 1st member fires weapons, 2nd member signes contracts on planets, 3rd member sets course, 4th member talks on the transmitter if necessary. As you all know a human being needs food, water, and oxygen to survive. Buy some of that, one per person, including yourself. Optionally, to entertain your crew buy something like counterfit software. Oh, and dont forget about medical conditions of your crew, buy some pharmaceuticals for them just in case. This will make your ship and yourself an rp role model for powertraders.

i agree with the crew but the food, pharmaceuticals and oxigen, i think is unnecesary
because you only have 5 or 6 crewmembers the cuantities of those goods are very low
when you scan a ship you get the cargo hold contents. i guess that the crew supplies are in a different place, and the oxigen is with the life support sistem like the water.
The only situation when you have to carry food and water is when you carry passengers or VIP in large quantities.
this is my humble opinion.
