Saint Logistics Communication Center - Lorelii_Darksaint - 09-20-2016

Guten Tag Karen, Mother and my other friends -

You'll have to forgive the quality of the video feed, things here on the Metropolis are still a bit touch and go here. The Hessian attack left things a little rougher than I had expected. However, my tech team is working on re-building the systems that were damaged, we expect to be operational in a week to ten days.

The accommodations are very spartan at this point, it seems that the Hessain Jorm's took special delight in targeting the residential areas of the base. My old office near the hanger is in absolute shambles, so we'll still be running the operations of Saint Logistics from Planet Erie for the near future.

The systems techs came across a partial video feed from the hanger bay during the attack. Clay was getting our gunboat un-docked to meet the inbound Hessian threat. Before he cleared the station a volley from one of the attacking ships slammed into [StLog]Phalanx, breaking it apart like an empty Rhein Beir bottle. I dropped to my knees and cried... whenever I think about him, I still get choked up. His mischievous smile, his quick wit... as one of my first employees he has... had seen it all from the beginning. He believed in my vision for the company and was the first to volunteer to make regular patrols when pirates became a problem in the low Omegas. I hope and pray that he didn't suffer.

We've gone through and triaged the remaining wounded and are working at identifying the causalities and shipping their remains back to their loved ones. It's a gruesome task, but it needs to be done. We may end up importing some additional medical supplies from Cambridge in the next few days.

Once we get full life support to all areas of the base and the service systems running at full capacity, we'll re-open up the market for trade and the Diamond Bar for R&R. I've been given an estimated time closer to two weeks, but we'll see how that goes. Over all the base seems fairly sound structurally, but each blast door that we open shows us more damage, and some of the compartments are worse off than others.

Mother - Please oversee the Operations Center on Erie, I will be tied up here for the foreseeable future.

Karen - See if we can arrange a small shipment of some Cigars and various alcohols so we can give the teams something to relax with during their down time. They are working hard and deserve it.

Guten Tag, Mother and my other friends -

Our techs and staff here on the Metropolis have worked wonders in the past week. As you can see the main command center, that I'm standing in, has been completely rebuilt and fully functional. Also, the hanger bay is now able to receive trading ships without any issues. We've also tested the defensive arrays and shields and I'm very pleased with the results of the live fire exercises.

It appears that the computer core that had the majority of the docking rights IFF's and call signs is missing, so we'll have to re-negotiate any contracts that were in place prior to the attack.

The residential areas have been completely re-habbed and the staff and their families are in the process of moving back into their new quarters. Hot meals are once again being served in the main dining room. Unfortunately, the luxury apartments and dining facilities are still under reconstruction. Because they are not high on my priority lists, they will be some of the last areas to be reconstructed.

The Diamond Bar is almost ready to re-open as well, and I plan on throwing a celebration in a few days to thank the staff and their families for their hard work. I've been in contact with Herr Pines at OS&C regarding supplies for the event and he's graciously committed to me that one of his ships should be along shortly with what we need.

We've opened up the factory areas on the station, but the damage here is more severe than we anticipated. Now that the area has been re-pressurized, we're clearing the debris and trying to see what equipment can be repaired and what needs to be completely replaced. I don't expect to start up the facility for a while yet, but I'm positive that things should be operating once again in a few weeks.

With our facility being almost ready to re-open, I think that we can re-start doing some business out of the satellite office again. The situation in Stuttgart seems to have stabilized somewhat, but I don't assume for one second that we won't be receiving a visit from the Hessians or others that are tying to carve an empire of sorts out of Rhineland.

There still hasn't been much communication from the "Big Three" Corporations locally, I assume it's because they see our small operation as a threat to their profit margins. I can't say I'm surprised by this, it falls quite nicely in line with some of the propaganda broadcasts that we pick up from time to time. I've been a resident in Rhineland long enough to know that those that profess the loudest to be doing what is best for Rhineland is usually doing it at the expense of the majority of the population. I'll have more to say in that matter on a more secure channel.

At this point, I only have one thing that is still bugging me. During the attack, somebody rescued me from the inferno that was my office where I had fallen while transferring the last remaining documents via the uplink from our satellite office. I assume that it was Tracy. I haven't seen her name on any listing of survivors triaged and sent to Baden Baden for additional medical attention nor have we recovered a body... while it's possible she could have been sucked out into the void when the stations hull was breached, I choose to believe she's still out there, somewhere. Mother, see if you can find any current information on her whereabouts.

So I'll say Auf Wiedersehen for now...

All is ready to go here, copies of fleet maintenance records and prior contracts have been sent to the satellite office for you to review and any further information will be updated via Saint Com-Net.

I saw your broadcast from the Diamond Bar the other day, the completed repairs look fantastic. Any word on the private dining facility and club will be open for guests? I look forward to making the trip out to see the re-opened base for myself once things settle down here on Erie.

We've just sent out a recruitment message per your instructions to see if we can bring on some extra help. I know you're busy out on Solitaire, so we're going to handle the initial interviews here. We'll forward the dossiers of any outstanding candidates for your input and review prior to actual hiring.

Karen and I have both made inquiries about Tracy, unfortunately no word of her whereabouts has come up. I think at this point, we need to face the harsh reality that she may not have survived the attack and is lost to us. I wish for your sake that I had better news...
