Alejandro Casero grew up in Liberty. His parents are Hispanians, they escaped from the Omicrons because it wasn't a good place to raise a child. Liberty took them into their hands, gave them a house, work, and a new name, "Casero" means "Made in home".
Casero went to the West Point Military Academy, graduated there, and now he's an officer of the Liberty Navy (*). "The Navy has a hole" He thinks that, becauase some officers start to become corrupts or worst, useless. Liberty needs a hard hand to get under control again. Hopefuly Casero will help to do that.

This is an outrage, last night a freaking Rogue Gunboat appeared in New York carrying gold. What was his destination? I don't know, when I was sttoping him, a [LN] Officer came to us. The Rogue convinced him that he was trading Food and Water for the needy, even when his cargo bay was full of Gold.
In the arresting process, the LN ordered me to cease fire, I cut off my guns. And this is when it all got weird, he let him go like if he was a civilian. He discredited my Naval rank, even if he's a higher officer into the LN lines. He shouldn't be discrediting Navy officers in public channel, he made me look like a fool.

3. Ship series ban
The following ships series, regardless who is flying them, are banned from Liberty:

Entering territory with those ships will be illegal and the offender will have to leave the governement space
I'm sticking to the law, nothing more.
I left the area, I left this Officer in charge of the situation, holding my anger of he discrediting me in front of a Rogue pilot, and in public channel. He let him go. According what I got from the communicator, he let him go to the closet Junker base. One hour after this incident, I saw the Rogue Gunboat in California System flying free like if he wasn't breaking the law.
I do have a problem when LN Officers order me to do things which no match with the law. The Rogue wasn't firing, that's true, but he was using a banned ship, according to the law he should leave governement space, what I was trying to do.
To all LN Officers, I'm not in LN lines, may be I'll never be there, even that I DO accept your orders, but situations like last night won't be tolerated, if you have an order use Navy channel for that, don't destroy my autorithy in pulic.

Usually we'd send the convoy trhough Bretonia, but we have heard of many Kusari spy ships there. Our informants have discovered a way through Kusari itself.
Mission:
Your mission is to escort the convoy through Kusari, take down any pirate ship who try to stop the convoy, and as soon as you can evade Kusari Naval forces or Kusari Police ships. Keep the aggression level to the minimum, but no one must touch the convoy. The convoy must arrive to planet Harris, in TAU-31 system.

The way through Kusari was almost undefended, we found only harmless traders.
When we arrived to Tau-31, we've seen KNF fighting to BAF. Fortunately for us, they didn't have time to scan us, and we keeped our way to Planet Harris.
We delivered the load, and took our way back to Liberty.

We warned to the pilot that we were going to report that ship as Stolen. The pilot agreed to fly back to Liberty with us.

I was flying on my avenger doing a patrol on Texas. Quiet day, I had not seen Xenos or Rogues at that point, just a few traders from Rheinland who claimed not to know anything about the embargo, but, they left peacefuly.
Close to Houston, I received a message from Battleship Mississippi.

Maya: "Officer Casero, this is Maya Simmons, from Battleship Mississippi"
Casero: "I hear you loud and clear Maya, how is the cutest Officer in the whole Navy doing?"
Maya: "Cut it off Casero, because you're so lucky, you have been assigned with a new escort mission"
Casero: "That's just great! What now, more diapers for the old boring crappy landowners in Bretonia?"
Maya: "No, you must get into Rheinland"
Casero: "...fshhshsshshshs... Maya I'm losing you... fhshshshfhshshshs... I'm passing throught a tunnel..:"
Maya: "Meet Kemira_debt, outside of Planet Houston, and escort him to Hamburg. But, this must be very clear, wait at Bering gate for Rheinland police, I repeat, don't cross Rheinland space."
Casero: "Roger Maya, it was nice to meet you."
Outside of planet Houston, later:
Kemira: "Hey, Casero, are you ready to take this "passengers" back to Rheinland??"
Casero: "Yeah, I can't wait until see their squared faces in my screen when they look at our cargo"

The travel to Hamburg was too much easy, non pirates on the way.
On the other side of Bering gate, in Hamburg:
Casero: "This is Liberty Navy, Officer Casero, calling to any Rheinland Police officer out there"
*No response*
Casero: "Repeat, this is Liberty Navy, requesting acces to Rheinland, we have some urgent cargo here to deliver at planet New Berlin"

Kemira: "to hell with them, let's fly to New Berlin, we can't wait forever, we don't have so many food or water for so many persons"
Casero: "Negative ensign, I have direct orders to do not cross Rheinland space without according escort"
Kemira: "Ok, but... Unioners!!! Engage!!"
After a few minutes, Unioners surrendered and fleed
Kemira: "Syndicalists.... get a job leechs!!"
Casero: "It's getting dangerous to wait here. Let's move to New Berlin gate, we will be better defended there"
Kemira: "Are we well defended in any place in the whole Rheinland?"
Casero: "Well, no, but less we have these passengers with us, less danger we'll have"

At New Berlin gate:
RM: "Incomming Liberty ships, this is Rheinland Military, you have 10 seconds to response what you're doing here, and why we shouldn't take your ships into custody, and arrest you"
Casero: "This is Liberty Navy Officer Casero, and Kemira. We are on a transport mission, we have some rheinlanders in this mammoth, and they have to be dispatched at planet New Berlin"
RM: "Please remain still until we scan your cargo bay..... 1800 Rheinlanders confirmed, we will escort this mammoth to the planet, but the fighter will have to stay here under custody."
Casero: "There is no way I will leave my partner alone in Rheinland with several Warths surrounding him"
RM: You will wait here, until these citizens are being dispatched, or you'll be eliminated"
Kemira: Don't worry Casero, we didn't come here to start a war, I will be ok, wait here, I will be back very soon."

The mammoth flied to planet New Berlin, and docked there without problemes. The Rheinland citizens got off the transport and the Rheinland Military took them into New Berlin Medical Center.
A few minutes after that, the Mammoth commanded by Kemira, was taking off from New Berlin.
Kemira: "Alright Casero, I'm ready to get back to Liberty, these Rheinlanders get on my nerves."
Casero: "Indeed Kemira, why did it take so long? I can't wait to leave this place."
RM: "We won't see us again Libertonians. That's a promise"
Casero: "You should pray for that Rheinlander"
Minutes ago, both Navy ships arrive to Hamburg without problems, at that point the way to Liberty were easy.
Casero: "The Texas gate is close, I think I can communicate with the Mississippi from here.... Battleship Mississippi this is Officer Casero, reporting back from Rheinland."
Maya: "Welcome back Casero, how was your trip? too much intolerance from Rheinlanders??"
Casero: "It was ok Maya, just how we thought it was going to be"
Maya: "And... the package?"
Casero: "It has been delivered, the Rheinlanders don't suspect anyhing"
Maya: "The High Command is gonna be pleased about that"
Casero: "Indeed, I'm tired Maya, I'm docking now"

All you can find there is 1 window to see the empty space, 1 bed, 1 table, the minifridge, bathroom, and nothing else. But, it's good enought to a Navy officer.
*knock knock*
Casero opens the door, and there was a tall man, in a Navy uniform.
Johnson: "Officer Casero, I assume"
Casero: "Yes, sir"
Johnson: "Rest officer... I have heard that you're a very good pilot, that you can handle out there very well on a fighter or gunboats, did I hear right?"
Casero: "Sir, it's not my place to say it, but I'm good"
Johnson: "Well officer, I'm looking for one great pilot, the High Command has assigned me the Lx984 Liberty Cruiser "Libertad", and I have a pilot missing... are you interested on it?"
Casero: "Sir, I'm flattered, and I have to say yes, I always wanted to fly a Cruiser"
Johnson: "Alright, I will have to disappoint you, but we are not flying very often, the price to fly these Cruiser is to high to have all of them out there at the same time, besides we need your work as fighter pilot too"
Casero: "Thank you sir, I appreciate this opportunity, and I won't let you down sir"
Johnson: "You better don't... rest now officer"

Casero: "On course now, sir.... all navegation systems working... we are in cruise speed now."
McLoud: "Scanners clean sir, we have a Navy patrol at 3k, and.... wait... all the targets are turning red... what's going on!??!"
Johnson: "To all navy patrols, this is the Admiral Johson, we are having troubles with our transponder, we must be red to you, but don't engage, repeat, do not engage the Libertad."
Casero: "Sir, Baltimore and Fort Bush are shooting us!, their defense system is in auto, we are having serious damage.... I'm losing control...."
Johnson: "Prepare the escape pods! we are go..."
Baltimore: "Libertad cruiser, this is Baltimore, we have deactivated our defense turrets, and our docking deck is ready for you, please dock for repairment"
Johnson: "Alright, Casero dock it"
A little while after... in the bridge....
O'Higgins: "Our cruise system is messing up with our transponder, that's why they all turned red to us... it won't take less than 2 weeks until we can fly again..."
Johnson: "... well, it seems we have to wait gentlement... you can back to your fighters until this is fixed"

The Libertad is flying again, with all system operating, now is time to complete its tasks.
In Johnson's chamber:
Dr. Rossenberg: So, Admiral, how is our subject proggresing?
Johnson: He's doing excelent, his skills are over any standards, the test is a complete successfull.
Dr. Rossenberg: Great, these are good news... the Program is going to its final step, our fleet is gonna be unstoppable.
Johnson: Indeed doctor, the second program is on track, running very well, and the Rheinlanders don't even noticed it.
Dr. Rossenberg: If they find it out, it could be the end of peace between two houses.
Johnson: Did you forget who delivered the package? we are covered, even if they find it out.
The chat lasted a little longer, and the doctor finnaly left the Libertad.

The Libertad take off from Baltimore, the crew is ready, the ship is ready, they have a long trip now.
The Admiral Johnson is in his chair, looking at the empty space, smoking his pipe as good commanders do, thinking on the risk of this mission. Casero have set curse, the automatic pilot is flying the ship now, he turns and watch the Admiral on his chair, he notices the Admiral is nervous, playing with the pipe in his hand, not saying a word.
Everybody on the bridge is quiet, they are seeing the Hamburg gate coming, and the anxiety is getting bigger. The plan has been made, they will fly without trade lanes, they must to pass unnoticed. They can't contact to Liberty with radio, conversations could be intercepted. They must be careful with Rheinland pirates too, they could inform to the militaries about a Liberty cruiser on their space.... xenos would do exactly the same thing.
The mission says they have to pick up something, they don't know what it is, possibly they will never know what they're going to pick up. They don't ask, they do it for duty of serving to Liberty. But, Casero knows his duty, and still is wondering why to send a cruiser to pick up something. They imagine that it must to be something big, but a mammoth would be just fine for that. Which brings the idea that it must to be protected with guns, and sending a fleet or a squadron would attract a lot of attention, or that nobody on the Liberty Navy must know about this mission. In any case, this is not a conventional task. He has a long way until Sttutgart to think on this matter.

"Heading to E3, time left to the next waypoint... 90 seconds" Flying in the asteroids cloud is threating the hull structure, it's getting bumbs from all directions, some of those asteroids are big as the cruiser inself. That means more job to the gunners who happily shoot at them as if they were back in the academy, doing the training once again.
Finnaly, the asteroids cloud is ending, and the sky is clear again. "Sir, we're approaching a trade lane, according to the Helm's manual, we should go above it", the Admiral moved his head in refusal to that idea, the course was not going to change, "These Rheinlanders deployed a lot of scanners and sensors along the trade lanes from above and below, our best chance is to pass just straight it and hope there won't be anyone there to see us".
"Setting waypoint 2, C5, eta 10 minutes" Casero said, and his heart was beating really fast, a beting silence floated on the deck. No words were spelled, no sounds were made.... just silence. The Libertad was cutting right to the middle of the trade lane from the Battleship Westfalen and the planet Hamburg.
"Contact 3 o'clock, comming fast, must be on the trade lane" Mcloud was seeing it on the radar, but soons as he finished that sentence, there were five more contacts. The siren began to sound, soon the crew were at battle stations,
The Rheinland Battleship amazed the libertonians, and not just the battleship, two cruisers and a small squad of bombers did it too. "Surrender or prepare to die, this is your only warning". A clear and devastating message from the Rheinlanders, they are known by their zero tolerance and negotiation.
But, suddenly, a new ship came from the trade lanes "What the hell are you doing here Libertonians!?", an (un)fortunate unioner step between the Rheinlanders and the Libertad. It didn't take too much time to the unioner to attack over the liberty cruiser, he has no heavy guns on his vessel, and wasn't a real menace to the cruiser's safity. "This is our pass out of here, we need power to the cruise engine", dozens of cruise disruptors crossing the sky hit the unioner's vessel, it worked as a decoy for the Libertad, which was now flying to the second waypoint. The Rheinland fleet pursuit them, the battleship took a couple more of seconds to take care of the Unioner who ruined their arrest, didn't take more than a couple of shots, and the unioner ship turned into space dust and scrapmetal "More job for the junkers".
The crew of the Libertad heared the screams of that poor unioner, could be that their future too? They certainly don't want to find that out.

The Libertad got away from that big problem, and lost their hunters in the confusion of the situation with the Unioner.
Captain Johnson, and the crew moved to the reunion point, to find the undercover agent Larsmann. It took a while to cross the defenses unnoted, as the system was full of Military officers, looking for the ship.
Once at the reunion point, a freighter under the name of Kertauss appeared, a male vioce was heard through the communicator, with a Rheinlander accent, it was agent Larsmann, with the valuae cargo that he was suppose to bring.
The Kertauss moored to the Libertad, and 208 Rheinland prisoners walked from one ship to the other. The crew of the Libertad, remained unawared of Johnson and Rossenberg's intentions for this prisoners, all they knew was they have to finish the mission.
Once the load was secured, Johnson ordered to O'Higgins to turn on the cruise engine. He and Larsmann went to his chambers to have a talk. Larsmann have a couple of doubts about Rossenberg's plan, if this was going to be viable. Johnson explained to him that this has been done to some Hispanians in the past, from the Corsair nation, of course the experiment brought some casualities, but nothing beyond expectations.
From Johnson's calculates, of 208 rheinlanders, 20 were going to survive Rossenberg's brain wash.
The ship was heading out of sector B5, towards Bering jump hole to return to Texas. But, the old lady didn't make it, the cruise engine suffered a general failure, forcing the Libertad to fly with Impulse engines. It was a long travel to the Bering Jump hole, to much clicks for the impulse engines. They were overheating, and their capacity was getting lower and lower with the run of the clicks. Crossing the trade lane from planet Hamburg to the battleship Westfalen, the impulse engines overheated, causing themself to decrease to 7%.
It was not the right time for that, Johnson didn't hold hopes to pass unnoted, however the asteroid field was close, once in it, the Military wouldn't be able to catch them.
A military bomber squadron along with several fighters and a gunboat, appeared on the scanners. Stain and Lennard took their men to the gun turrets and the razor control. The battle was about to start.
First the gunboat, it went down pretty fast, thanks to Lennard's aim and Casero's experience behind the stick. Another vessel was gunned down by Stain's men, but the bomber squadron was causing a big damage to the ship's hull.
In the heat of the battle, Johnson and Larsmann disappeared from the cockpit. Two of the escape pods were launched, and lost in the asteroid fields. Casero ordered the crew to get to the rest of the escape pods. However it was too late to save all the men.
The Lx894 "Libertad" finnly exploted, some of the officers made it alive, but many people has died.
The Liberty Navy High Command denies all the events related to the Lx894 "Libertad"
