BREAKING: Absent-minded miner triggers chain reaction in Omega-7 - DZH News - 10-20-2016 Earlier today, an unsuspecting miner triggered a chain reaction event in the north-eastern field of the Omega-7 system.
This field, under exploitation by Kruger Minerals for its abundance of silver ore, is known as one of Rheinland's most dangerous mining operation due to the relentless attacks of the Red Hessians, but moreover the explosive gas pockets scattered all over the field that have already claimed many lives. The recent large-scale operations of the Red Hessians involving their very few capital vessels appear to have been the catalyst of this event, according to Professor Max Hass, Expert in Mineral Extraction Procedures for the Omega region. Professor Max Hass Wrote:Discharging capital weaponry in an area filled with concentrated, volatile pockets of gas may 'supercharge' said pockets so to say, as they absorb the residues of energy discharges. These pockets become very unstable and the slightest pertubation can set them off. We should consider ourselves lucky the supercharged pockets were limited to a small area. The entire field could have been scattered. The incident itself has been caused by an Arrastra mining ship callsign Charlie Juno Seven One belonging to Kruger Minerals. We have been able to obtain the flight logs of the convoy it was part of when the incident occured: Quote:[CJ-1]: This is Charlie Juno One, the shift is over. We're heading back to Elbich. Everyone get in formation. The chain reaction following the initial explosion has resulted in a localized scatter of the asteroids. Our initial observations approximate the field has doubled in size, at the cost of a slight reduction in ore concentration. There has been no fatal casualty reported. The pilot of the CJ-71 has been slightly injured in the incident and is currently under observation on Elbich. Vicki Vale for Der Zerdrückte Hund, reporting live, from Omega-7.
