Hello. - agora - 10-30-2016 Hello, everyone. I used to play Freelancer a long time ago on j4f (I used to be known as Jako there) and I figured it would be nice to try something different again for the nostalgia. I'm kinda new to all this rp thing going on here but I think it's gonna be fine. I'm more of a fighter pvp kind of guy and never really enjoyed trading. I read on the tutorials that a good way of starting out is to get into a faction. Can you guys recommend me something for a start? RE: Hello. - Commander ZooM - 10-30-2016 all depends what style of play you like mate, theres almost a faction to fit every style of play here lol, of course theres my faction lol but really tho have a look through these HERE your most like see something you like ![]() good luck mate and welcome back RE: Hello. - Clavius - 10-30-2016 Hello and welcome. First of, you should read the rules located here : http://discoverygc.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=2334 After you do that, you should probably join a trading/mining faction to get some cash (I would suggest IMG, BMM, Bowex, they are noob-friendly and they also do pvp) If you have any more questions feel free to PM me or [Angels] ingame. RE: Hello. - agora - 10-30-2016 Quote:you should probably join a trading/mining faction to get some cashIs trading really the only way to make money here? I'd rather just do missions or something. I don't find trading really interesting. I read through a couple of threads and someone said that a faction like LPI would be good for start, too. RE: Hello. - nOmnomnOm - 10-30-2016 You can do mining rocks, bounty hunting, escorting, pirating, playing as a cop and collecting fines... Or selling rp items even. Or bets on racing perhaps ![]() All are ways to make money without trading, but trading is generally the fastest way unless someone is really generous. RE: Hello. - Shelco - 10-30-2016 I can just repeat what nom said, Disco offers a wide variety of making money, trading is the fastest and easiest of course but also the most boring one unless you have a super interesting trader. I wish you good luck and lots of fun while playing. *waves* |
