A small notice to content creators (modelers) - Swallow - 11-04-2016 I suggest to show-off our content at p3d, DevianArt and other art-related communities while linking the discovery site as a small "advertisement". I suppose, this is something that we can do in terms of promoting the Discovery in the way we actually can. Speaking of modelers (3D renders), system makers (cinematic renders http://www.deep-shadows.com/hax/3DRipperDX.htm , and screenshots), and whoever has anything original to show off. Could make a DiscoveryGC group on DA if you want? RE: A small notice to content creators (modelers) - Swallow - 11-04-2016 (11-04-2016, 08:05 PM)Auzari Wrote: thought about that for DA. Yes, if you could make people in, then double yes. I am not into management, but I can into providing the content. Knowing how DA is full of RPers (though furry ones), and space fans alike, it might be even better than MoDDB if done right. Setting up a group is easy, it's just harder finding people who do content. I can set one up if you want? (under the name of DiscoveryFreelancer) RE: A small notice to content creators (modelers) - Swallow - 11-04-2016 I'd rather you to find people and some fine content around here first. Say, let someone go for in-game screenshots, another one for videos, and so on. Modeling content is, for sure as well. I think that you might bump people that are on the Disco official model to-do list. Besides, having it on forum first could be useful for ModDB and wiki and so on as well. Important note: I am not sure how long could I run on this wave of enthusiasm, don't blame me if I just give up on it in two days, or suspend modeling for another half year. I don't want, but that is how I operate... RE: A small notice to content creators (modelers) - Kauket - 11-04-2016 Screenshots still somewhat go under rendering, providing if there's some editing to the picture, such as adding a simple vignette. Also signatures can go there too. RE: A small notice to content creators (modelers) - Demonic - 11-04-2016 I'm useless when it comes to pictures, but I can share my stories there, if you thin that counts... RE: A small notice to content creators (modelers) - Swallow - 11-04-2016 True. Though having random people's photos with "RP" names under them is... Kinda... They do. Deviant art has a good chunk of journal stories. RE: A small notice to content creators (modelers) - Kauket - 11-04-2016 http://discoveryfreelancer.deviantart.com/ There you go. Basic group. Though it needs an avatar/banner. I hate using HTML holyhell. Edit: Dunno if it's within DA boundaries to post journals about the game's update or events. |
