Blackmarket Engine Appearance? - Shush Muppet - 11-07-2016
So, I see plenty of Blackmarket Engines for sale on Freelancer stations, but I have no idea how they look. And the wiki is... yeah.
Can anyone enlighten me as to which engines have what appearance so I do waste millions just trying to find one I like?

Depends on the faction mentioned in the description.
Union Corse - Purple
Royalist - Blue, cruise is red
Civillian - Orange
Any more colors that are available, I haven't tried, nor really paid attention to.

Corse is a pinkish colour.
Royalist is the GRN engine, blue on impulse, blue on cruise.
Civilian is the transparent Yellow, cruise is yellow too.
Council one is the same as council, a puffy dark orange.

You can always check the engine effects on any ship or category of ships in Singleplayer with a few commands, i.e. "cash 900000000" "base (name)" and just go wild.
But for the sake of the topic, I went ahead and screened a few of them. (And another thing, mine will look different slightly due to Swagpack + ENB.)
CNOU - Union Corse | Impulse ; Cruise
CNORx - Royalist | Impulse ; Cruise
CNOCx - Council | Impulse ; Cruise
CNOS - Civilian | Impulse ; Cruise
To be sure which engine you're getting, check the infocard of each at the very bottom. The last lines say which faction they belong to.
