RE: Meeting of the Inner Circle - Niall Dunne - 11-11-2016 "I agree with you, Red Grant. These are trying times for our combative skills. We are to enhance them if we want to topple the ranks of those gilded criminals. But, let us not forget our smarts in the process of such physical and space combat training. For our ships and our bodies are only as smart as we are." RE: Meeting of the Inner Circle - Wolfgang Weisen - 11-14-2016 Wolfgang was one of the last to enter the meeting room before the session had started. He deliberately chose to sit in the opposite direction of Ms Dunne. Despite not showing it, his mind produced voracious and depraved thoughts when the young female Interruptor spoke. "Greetings everyone from me as well. As most of you are aware I am a senior consultant in our logistics department due to my former expertize with Interspace Commerce and I am also credited for "leaking" several fake reports in the market to create small and short-lived economic uncertainty against some members of the corporate establishment." He said and exchanged glances with Interruptor Dunne before continuing. "Furthermore, I have conducted several operations, mostly smuggling but also dozens of extortions and performed a few assassinations. My most important of those operations is the meeting with the Order and subsequent contact, assisting in the reconnaissance of Coronado and Roussillon systems, establishing contact with a new Gallic Brigand group, assisting in our contract with BDM and attacking Bundschuh convoys earlier this year." The Rheinlander said with his clearly noticeable accent and scars which were sometimes glimmering in the dim light. RE: Meeting of the Inner Circle - Medrano - 11-14-2016 Medrano, who had just been sitting back and listening to the other Hackers cleared his throat "Hello fellow hackers" Anyone in the room could tell he was nervous to speak up " I have never been one to speak to groups, I rather do the work out there. Lately I've been busy with spreading our software to anyone who pays enough to deserve it. With that going on I recently joined in on a Lockdown operation in the Manchester system were we came in contact with the Bretonian forces. Seeing my colleges in this fight made me realise we really need to work on our combat operations." As Medrano spoke he relaxed a little, speaking more clear as he went on "I think we really need to coordinate our battles better, we had trouble focusing down one target as the other targets kept shooting. I think it's best if we train more combat situations, not only the one versus one as they rarely happen" After this criticism Medrano looked around at the other hackers hoping they'd agree with him. RE: Meeting of the Inner Circle - Miranda Frost - 11-14-2016 Miranda enters the room just as Medrano stands up. She looks around for a bit to see who is present to the meeting, then she makes her way to a wall close to the table and leans on it, looking through the window outside in deep space.
She listens to Medrano, and after he finishes she glares at him and the others. She then turns her eyes back on the window. "Mister Medrano, we're dealing with trained pilots, the Navy's finest, I might say. Yes, is true, we might encounter the rookies now and then, or the few police so called officers who just started and are easy to take on, but most of the time, we're dealing with elite, ace pilots. You're forgetting most of the pilots we're facing are veterans from the Rheinland front, moved from there after the war with Gallia came to our borders, and the cease fire with Rheinalnd. I do agree with you on one point, we need to work more on our operations. We need to plan them more careful. Further training might help, but not that much, we're humans of high intellect, not some grunts. We use our brains, not our muscles, after all, why keep the Rogues around then?" She moves closer to the large window and leans forward, placing her hands on the resting space and crossing her legs. "We don't have the manpower or the industrial capability of the Navy. We don't need to stay in prolonged fights with them. Building our ships takes resources that we don't come by easy. Not to mention the facilities and the hours it takes to build such marvel. Our fighters are build for quality, not quantity like their ships. Yes, we need the training, but I think our efforts would be better put to use on a strong planning. Hit and run combat tactics have been proven efficient in the past, and even now." She turns around, crosses her hands, leans ageist the window and bows her head, facing the floor. "I think we need to hit them where it hurts. Their shipments. Hit fast, hit hard, hit with precision and accuracy. Move in, move out, grab the cargo before they even realized what hit them." She raises her head and looks around "But, there is the issue with the Royalists. After all, if we soften the Navy too much, Gallia might take advantage of our own work. We need to trend carefully here." RE: Meeting of the Inner Circle - Nick Nack - 11-15-2016 Nick Nack , punctually as always, was one of the very first to arrive at the meeting. Wearing one of his usually suits , he silently sat down, listening to his colleagues , analyzing their statements . "Greetings everyone" , said Nick respectfully , but icily a few minutes later after Miranda's speech. "In my opinion, this year has been quite decent . Our propaganda seems to pay off, given then substantial amount of new Hackers who made it to the Inner Circle. We fell comfortable with each other now, and with our superior craft , the Vindicator, we can seriously strike the Navy and their corrupted government. Yet , we do not have their manpower as Miranda well stated , however, their peanut sized brains should give us an advantage, but we have to make sure that they are not going to become a Gallic marionette just like Kusarians. Other than that , I have been doing the same old stuff: assisting in lockdowns, smuggling here and there, taking out threats ". Said the Infiltrator succinct , with the very same expressionless face he had showed since the beginning of the meeting. RE: Meeting of the Inner Circle - Von Hammerstein - 11-16-2016 Von Hammerstein is entering the meeting, he nods to every person and takes a seat. "Greetings everyone" "I'm quite new... and not really sure if I should discuss anything here, this is why I will just listen to everyone here." He leans back, opens a water bottle and sips from it. RE: Meeting of the Inner Circle - Niall Dunne - 11-16-2016 "Fellow Lane Hackers, your current inputs are very intriguing to me. While we do face many well trained fighters out on the field, they do not have as much intelligence as we do. Yet we are not as skilled in combat, I still stand on that point. Experience can come from what we have already been doing. I believe, however, that there are still at least some very smart people on the enemy side, somewhere. Miss Frost's two cents in this conversation are very important to realize. We are indeed smaller than the ranks and size of the Navy, Police, and Security Force, along with the corrupt corporations of Liberty, all combined. We have to think very wisely about our movements here, as a wrong move could lead to all our premature ends."
Niall leans forward again onto the table, balancing her sight upon the many Lane Hackers in the room. She particularly looks at Wolfgang, regardless of his innocent expressions. Her face looks as if she was somewhat suspicious. "In any case, Miss Frost has a point. We need to strike their traders swiftly and effortlessly, for they are usually some of the weaker chains in the link. If we can seize their cargo for our own, perhaps we may grow in the process, and hinder their growth in the future." Her face changes to a nostalgic scene as she recalls Gallia. "Ah, yes, Gallia... They were large trouble, even in my efforts to help fight them with Bretonia long before I came here. I can see that they too have some very intelligent people on their side as well. The danger of weakening Liberty is a vital point, yet again, that Miss Frost made. If Liberty is to fall, the other houses may tumble after, into Gallia's eye of their storm. I fear if that happens, our movements shall come to an end, or to a temporary halt. These are trying times indeed. I may even go as far as to say that if we are to take Liberty and make it right, we must first help defend her against the Gauls." She returned her face to a gentle smile and a content expression as she reaches her most recent conclusion. "All in all, so far this is what I am seeing. The more Lane Hackers that provide their input, the more I can provide plans that we may need to focus on. But the real decision depends on the Professorship. If we are to walk the path of revolution, we must band together and make ourselves as one in times like this." With the final words she had to say at the moment, she again leaned back into the chair, taking in a breath and relaxing with her hands once more in her lap. She kept her eyes moving around the table. RE: Meeting of the Inner Circle - Grubozaboyschikov - 11-18-2016 "Hmm? Oh there is a meeting here?"
Agent Grubozaboyschikov opened to door to find everyone staring at her back. She had a bottle of vodka half empty in her hand, holding it by the neck of it, and a cardamine cigar on the right side of her mouth. She had a more relaxed and lazy attire on her and definitely not something that would be worn to a formal meeting. Her tight yoga pants and woven sweater that wrote "B**** Relax" on it did not help at all in making the situation less awkward. She weighed in those moments the situation as best she could... due to her already tipsy behavior. She decided to try to lighten the tone... "Oh I thought... the drink storage room was... a left... and not a right... oh silly me... It all looks the same, hee hee..." She walked in while the other hackers were watching her with stares and she without caring plopped on one of the chairs as if almost uninvited. She met the gaze of everyone with cheeky grinning back. "So what are we talking about?" She asks as she waves one leg up and down like a child. Someone, out of pity perhaps, whispered in her ear. "Oh... Well other than before my involvement with exposing IND and also robbing Cody, nothing much as of late. You know how it is down at the servers. Pretty quiet." As everyone mostly knew, she had taken to be enticed with the Hacker servers and databases, exploring and doing work as well as developing her skills as a programmer and hacker. Mostly all alone down there had her quite board at times and so the drink in hand, if anyone thought about it long enough, could be a result of this activity. It had in effect however diminished her peer to peer skills and she did not even meet any of the new hackers that had joined the ranks. Mostly, she was just rumored about with one of the rumors being something about her involvement in trying to catch an Ageria captain flying the Ageria~Armstrong... though that ship had disappeared for a long time. Some wondered if she had spent all this time trying to find traces of the ship anywhere. Meeting of the Inner Circle - Nicole Hunter - 11-22-2016 ...hack.initiated...connecting.to.Spyglass.Network...decryption.in.progress... ...superuser.token.recognized...access.granted... ...accessing.holo.device... Professor Nicole Hunter's holographic projection started to tap a non existent surface of a table with her fingers. Her usually emotionless face betrayed slight annoyance with the overextended meeting. She is discretely urging Professor Moriarty to wrap it up. RE: Meeting of the Inner Circle - Trigger. - 11-29-2016 Trigger had been sitting in the room all this time and after everyone else had spoken he decided to finish the meeting. "Hello everyone, I am not certain if all of our new members know me yet so let me introduce myself. My name is Trigger and I am one of the more senior members here. "I haven't been participating in general operations a lot in last few months. I have used most of my time to organize cardamine shipments to Liberty and administrating the Bounty Board." And then Trigger moved on to comment on the discussion that had been going on in the room. "As for increased amount of ship losses all I have to add to the conversation is that everyone here should remember that retreating is always an option. If the situation looks too tough to get out of, you should retreat and come back some other day with new tactic." "Speaking of tactics I think we really should focus on what we do best. Focusing our small manpower on specific and important targets, rather than wasting it by straight up fighting. We have the intelligence, so why not use it as much as possible. It's our advantage over our enemies." |
