To: Republic of Liberty and the First Fleet - Asylum Request - Black Widow - 11-11-2016 ID: Commander Jack Wills, CO of HMS Argosax Location: Inverness System Hello esteemed representatives of Liberty, I come to you today with the most humblest of requests. I am the captain of the sole remaining Dunkirk Class Battleship of Her Majesty's 13th Northern Fleet. During routine military operations today, Bretonian Armed Forces and Liberty Navy assets were in engaged against overwhelming Nomad forces in the Manchester system. During the engagement, units of the Auxesian Battlegroup arrived to engage the Liberty Navy ships that were present. As I am very well aware, the traitorous Auxesians have engaged in relentless campaigns against your house in collaboration with the Hellfire Legion. Being an ally of Bretonia I always aim to defend the integrity of the Liberty Navy given all you have done for us over the years including your help against Gallia. It is true, that Battlegroup Auxesia is not outlawed in Bretonia as they are in Liberty but I do not see them as friends more over they are snakes and must be eliminated at every opportunity. Back to the events at hand in Manchester, Auxesian Battleship ACV Arktos previously known as LNS Cincinnati was present during this battle and had entered hostilities with the first fleet ship [LN]-LNS-Glendale to which HMS Argosax came to her defence. It seems the grip Auxesia has on my weakened house means the Admiralty cannot see past their treachery and would rather condemn me an Outlaw than punish the Auxesian for the unauthorised entrance into Manchester and aggression against our allies. For defending Liberty I have been asked by the Fleet Admiral O'Brian to either apologise to Battlegroup Auxesia / cease hostilities against them or the queen will name me an outlaw. I refuse to apologise and thus accept exile. Now however I am a soldier without a home or flag. Given loyalties served by the HMS Argosax to the Republic I humbly request to seek asylum within the house of Liberty. Please do not leave us to the crows. Wills out... COMM ID: Fleet Admiral Alan Jones TARGET ID: Commander Jack Wills, CO of HMS Argosax ENCRYPTION: High Commander Jack Wills,
At this time neither I or The Republic can give you a clear nor official statement regarding your asylum request. As talks with the Bretonians are due to start shortly, it would be best if you stayed out of sight and reach for the time being.
Myself and the rest of the Liberty Navy command are appreciative of your actions in coming to the Liberty Navy's aid against that renegade gang called Battlegroup Auxesia, who are accountable for a lot of violations and crimes. It is most displeasing to see our allies choosing to deliberately tolerate and provide shelter and refuge to an organization which is openly operating a stolen Liberty warship in front of their eyes. None of us is happy to see that. I cannot guarantee you anythying, but for now, if you're in need of any services or so, you are authorized to utilize Norfolk Shipyard in the New York system. Best of Regards, Alan Jones Fleet Admiral, First Fleet CiC Liberty Navy ****TRANSMISSION TERMINATED****
RE: To: Republic of Liberty and the First Fleet - Asylum Request - Black Widow - 11-19-2016 ID: Commander Jack Wills, CO of HMS Argosax Location: Coronado System Hello Fleet Admiral Jones, My apologies for the late reply it has taken some time to get the necessary repairs done to the Argosax before she can be moved out of Bretonian space. Plus we have been laying low, for a while in a hope we may not encounter any Bretonian forces. I would like to thankyou for your offer to allow the Argosax moorings at Norfolk Shipyard. The Argosax is on its way there now, so if you would be so kind as to alert your forces to my arrival I would be most grateful. I do not want there to be any misunderstandings between us and the House of Liberty that I hold to such high regard. I must say it has been an honour to serve beside the Liberty Navy so far. I can understand that you cannot grant asylum for our vessel at this time, investigations can take a while. But with your offer of docking on Norfolk shipyard. HMS Argosax will remain in dry dock there for now, while my crew rest and recuperate awaiting any further news you may have on this matter. If for any reason the House of Liberty requires the services of HMS Argosax in the meantime. We will be at your disposal. Wills out... RE: To: Republic of Liberty and the First Fleet - Asylum Request - Black Widow - 12-09-2016 ID: Commander Jack Wills, CO of HMS Argosax Location: Norfolk Shipyard, New York system Hello Fleet Admiral Jones, It has been nearly a month since out last communique, I eagerly await any news you may have of negotiations you have made with the house of Bretonia. But I feel things are moving very slowly here and my men are eager to get out of dry dock and resume military service. Now being a man without a nation is quite a hard thing to muster. My men do not want to return to Bretonia as we feel that any repatriation deal will come with a noose attached. We defended liberties honour and in return we were cast out as outlaws from our own house. All the while they build even stronger links with those Auxesian bastards while I'm sure they continue to attack liberty. Bretonia has betrayed its own people for them.... We urgently seek asylum within Liberty and hope to serve our adopted nation with pride. Now will you have us admiral? Wills out... RE: To: Republic of Liberty and the First Fleet - Asylum Request - Black Widow - 12-23-2016 ID: Commander Jack Wills, CO of HMS Argosax Location: Norfolk Shipyard, New York system Hello Fleet Admiral Jones, It has been over a month in dry dock without any word from yourself, I think maybe your investigation has halted. My men are tired, restless and cannot take this for much longer they have nothing to do. I have to take their morale into consideration because without a sound crew this ship is not going anywhere. I have decided to retract my request for asylum in Liberty and will set course for independent space immediately. I thank you for providing us shelter in this most needed time but I feel our relationship is very one sided and Liberty does not have our best interests at heart. 13th Northern Fleet remnants will therefore continue their struggle on their own, we will take the fight to Bretonia just as we did against the Gallics via Hit and Run tactics. Already declared outlaws I think we should live up to the name. We will attempt surgical strikes against Battlegroup Auxesia aswell. The time to hit them is now and hit them hard we shall. H M S Argosax disembarks Liberty in t-minus 30mins. Do not get in the way! Wills out... |
