Gallia's Government Channel
In service of the Roi!

It was late yesterday evening when a hospital ship, chartered by the generous Claire DeFrance, found itself in the vicinity of a Council bomber wing in the Gallic Borderworlds. The transport was carrying poor civilian war casualties from the Tau frontier into Gallia's most sophisticated medical centers on Planet Nevers. The ship was forcefully stopped in the entrance of the Dauphine system, where the Council tried to demand the ship to surrender the ship's crew and passengers to use as hostages against the people and the Crown. Here is an excerpt from the ship's black box that was handed to us by Claire herself.

[19.11.2016 22:02:44] GRN|Claire.DeFrance: CO: Your interruptions will cost lives.
[19.11.2016 22:02:51] GRN|Claire.DeFrance: CO: Is that really what you want, terrorist?
[19.11.2016 22:02:52] [C]-Louis:Charron: Your stalling will too
[19.11.2016 22:03:10] [C]-Louis:Charron: Surrender them ASAP then
[19.11.2016 22:03:18] [C]-Bombardier.01: To show you how generous we are to the people of Gallia and how much we care of the wounded

The civilian population of the ship suffered grievous wounds of all kinds, where the difference between life and death were precious minutes. The commanding officer refused to listen to the Council's demands for hostages, but some brave wounded souls on the ship volunteered to be taken by the vile Council in exchange for saving lives of many others. The commanding officer, seeing futility in the situation, allowed the brave people to fulfill the Council's demands, but the terrorist Council was still not content with just that - they demanded more.

The brave captain of the ship ordered to move forward, which made the Council confused. They expected easy prey, but the ship managed to reach the Burgundy jump gate before the terrorists attacked the triage ship. They, however, were constantly disrupting the ship's engines, which caused more lives to be lost due to the passing of time.

The brave crew of the ship fought hard to allow the poor casualties to escape the evil clutches of the terrorists. Unfortunately, they gave chase and once again intercepted the transport at the next tradelane. Thankfully, the grand Valor was there to provide support, which helped fend off the Council from taking more than a thousand lives, repeating history of the Slaughter of Gap Station.

The assailants were ultimately destroyed. It is not known if they have survived after their ships were incapacitated.

Claire's hospital ship, bearing the insignia of the DeFrance family, managed to get to Planet Nevers without any further delay. A total of 21 lives were lost due to the Council's interruptions, the rest were successfully delivered to the Saint Florentius Medical Center on Planet Nevers. They have told us that all of the surviving casualties will be treated without fail.

The Crown wishes to remind you, the citizens of the Kingdom of Gallia, that the Council are terrorists that are willing to go to any length to ensure that they continue putting up their pathetic resistance against the benevolent Crown and its supporters. They wish to take away your rights, your future, the stability of the Kingdom and ultimately, the food off of your table for their own selfish gain.

If you know anyone whom you suspect to be a supporter of the Council, do not delay and report them to the nearest authorities in your area. They will undergo thorough examination to confirm their allegiance and ultimately, send them to court for treason against the Crown. These people are very dangerous and pose a risk to everyone around them, and the Kingdom will be very thankful for your assistance in keeping Gallia as stable and flourishing as it has always been.
