Dear Guildmembers,

Alright, this is really weird now, but it's facts. Cody Otwell and me picked up a signal of a badly damaged GC bomber craft, Orchid class near the Freeport in T37. We hailed the fighter, trying to find out whether it would be trouble to us, when the cameras shows a badly injured female. Sharpnel sticking out of the shoulder, a lot of blood everywhere - pretty sickening.

We suggested her getting medical attention at the Freeport, but she denied because of fears of Bounty Hunters that would finish her off. Quite understandable, if you ask me.

Otwell and me felt sorry, and we told her that we can take her to Falkland "New Life" Hospital. She agreed.

Falkland at that moment was on full alert because of a Junker ship, however we managed to have her move the ship to Fort Siloso, and from there the plan is to move her to Falkland prison. Otwell shot this picture.

I know this will result in lots of questions, but... I guess this is what we did.

Julia Morrow
Convoy Leader

Lin stumbled out of the cockpit, which was smoking from the dashboard. When she landed on the floor, she collapsed to her knees, holding one hand to her head. "Ugh... It stings...". She looked around and saw multiple fire crews approaching the ship and a medical crew running to her. She fell flat on the floor, her vision slowly fading to black as her body was completely exhausted from the effort of reaching the station while trying to stay awake.

It would be a few hours later that she woke up. The room was white, or at least, that is what she could tell from the ceiling. Her bed was surrounded by curtains on all sides, which made her assume that there were multiple beds in the room. When she slowly looked over her body, which was covered in blankets she could see a few tubes leading to pumps, which supplied her with painkilling medicine, and other assorted blood clotting agents and whatnot. She felt a droning, noticeable but not so bad ache on her right shoulder, which was now stitched up. The cut had grown quite a bit wider when the doctors had tried to remove more of the metal shrapnel that was still embedded in it. She still had a lot of trouble moving the arm, and a few bones on her rightlower arm were broken aswell, but set. Her legs showed a few scratches here and there, but nothing all that major. Her helmet had covered a gash over her left eye, which was also stitched and no longer bleeding. The swift action of the doctors had reduced the bloodloss she had suffered. She noticed her GC flight uniform was missing, and instead replaced with a hospital dress that closed at the back. She groaned as she regained consciousness fully and attempted to sit up, in vain, as the headache forced her back down with her head softly landing on the pillow. She shut her eyes again, falling asleep in a restless sleep.

Another few hours pass. A doctor stumbles into the room through the door behind the curtains. Lin by now had reawakened, and looked up hearing the door close. The sound pierced through her ears and made her cringe as the headache flared up again. He opened the curtains and stepped in. "So you must be the GC pilot they had brought in earlier..". He gave her a mistrustfull look. "I am indeed.". She replied coldly to the man, only made more suspicious of him by the way he looked at her. Her eyes darted to the dresser next to her. It seems the IMG hadnt kept their word and had removed her sidearm. She suddenly felt very unprotected and looked back at the doctor. "I'm assuming you are going to interrogate me now?".

To be continued..

The surgeons inside of New Life Hospital where Lin had been taken by shuttle after she lost consciousness in the hangar had been working on her for quite a while to get her into the state that she woke up.

The name tag reads "Doctor A. Johnson" and it is hard to focus on the small writing for Lin due to the mix of painkillers that she is being given. "My name is Doctor Johnson, and it's good to see you are awake." he remarks with a friendly voice while he is checking the scanner reading of her vital signs routinely. "... interrogate you?" he asks her and shakes his head with a smile, while he is doing a quick routine check on her reaction speed.

"... no, Miss. That's not going to happen. This is a hospital. Not a prison." he reassured her calmly, while seeming content with the results of his checks. He was lying to some degree. As New Life had many Cardamine addicts as patients, it was not completely open, however in this area one did not immediately notice the higher security standards.

"... you were taken to New Life Hospital, Falkland Base, Tau 37. This is a newly built installation to treat not only trauma patients like yourself, but also specialises in the treatment of Cardamine addiction. So..." he smiles again, while he is adjusting the dripping rhythm of the painkillers by pressing the plus-sign three times. "... you are in good hands."

"The surgeons removed 2 small pieces of shrapnel from your right shoulder..." and he shows her a scan picture of the sharpnel and the damaged bone structure, and then switches to picture to the status now.

"... the larger one was wedged in the bone. It was also removed, as you can see here." he explains the reinforced structures around the bones of her upper arm: "... the bone structure was damaged, so it was reinforced, as you can see here..." and he explains everything to her with the picture. "... it will dissolve over the next 2-3 years, no surgery needed." he concludes with a soft smile, watching her slide deeper into the painkiller-induced half-consciousness again.

"... the rest is just cuts and bruises, nothing to worry about... so..." he checks her arm again that is firmly fixed to her body and covered from wrist to her shoulder in a lightweight splint that also included the tubes that were supporting her with medicine and drugs... "... you'll be fine. Do you have any questions? Any wishes?" he asks her, looking content.

Lin relaxed a bit noticing the doctor was less cold then she had expected. She smiled warmly at him. "Water would be nice. Got a bit of a dry mouth." She saw the packet of cardamine capsules laying on the desk besides her. "You know, I never was proud to take that stuff quite honestly. It horrids me that I need it. And seeing I am in here anyways.." She looks around a bit idly. ".. Maybe you could help me find something to replace it? I want this out of my body."
