What kind of books do you read and which author is your favourite? - Eurobeat - 01-13-2017

I prefer very long novels that go into fine detail, describing each character thoroughly as their story unfolds. My favourite author is Andy McNab (or Steven Mitchell) and my favourite book of his is Meltdown. I'm looking for new reading material and I've read all Goosebumps to date and am struggling to find more McNab books anywhere that isn't online.

Futuristic books and SFO (Special Forces Operators). My the most favorite one would be Ghost Recon Choke Point written by Peter Thelep or Seal Team Six written by Don.

I have listened to many of Andy McNab's books and would say that this one has many turns in which you wouldn't expect! Slow getting into it but hooked me right to the end.
By the way, I am looking for eReader, to read my favourite books in transport or on vacation, which one is better from this list, how do you think?

6 inches is rather small for someone with my eyeaight, but if Inwere to choose one of those itnwould be the one with the SDcard slot where you can save many audiobooks for later reading

The Old Kingdom series by Garth Nix is one of my favourite fantasy series, although I've only read the original trilogy of Sabriel/Lirael/Abhorsen. As far as sci-fi series that don't already get plugged to death go, I really enjoyed Luna: New Moon by Ian McDonald and the Red Rising series by Pierce Brown. Luna in particular is my favourite sci-fi novel in a long time, and is very reminiscent of Game of Thrones/ASOIAF in the sheer number of developed characters it throws at you.

I haven't read a book in about three years.

The last one I read was one of the ones by Clive Cussler. Don't remember which one. Involved boats, a drydock, and a submarine or something. Modern pirates, Somali style.
