I think it's time for another monthly reminder here. I'm still patiently waiting for the discussion about the requested cloak modification, the replacing of the Vagrant SRP Sascyas with the game-wise implemented Dione and the Unique Ship Request to be processed - whoever is currently in charge about it, be it Dev or Admin.

I have been trying to figure this out and i really need some green clarification. I would like to use the Hellbore turrets on my SRP ship. seeing as they are heavy weapons I know i dont need an SRP request because it falls under "generic" weaponry.
Please clarify SRP Battleships are allowed to use them (outside) of Conn. Thank you for your time.

The SRP rules say that no loadout changes can be made without a change request. But since heavies are, apart from nomadic and gallic ones, nothing you couldn't mount either way see this as permission granted to swap them out.

well discovery has a bad habbit of unwritten rules, im quite confident heavies are allowed to be changed out seeing as they are generic weapons. Would be quite the hassle if i wanted to go from mortars to missle and back to mortar. Thats why i was told its allowed so long as i dont change anything else.
you seem to be missing my overall question. Can We use the Hellbore turrets in an official capacity outside of con? If the Admin team changed the rules about generic weaponry i dont mind doing the RP for them i just want to be sure im not wasting my time, especially with all the people already waiting for SRP votes.

There is a statement somewhere that those weapons can be used outside of conn. Though that really is more of a dev matter.
