The first one I am, suppose, in no position to answer since it is a question about me, really.

As for the second- if you want the cold hard details, is because ever since the Heavy Decision, we as a staff are completely uninterested in meddling with dev-work as doing so would possibly lead to another devstrike. Already during that example I was reminded that it was a possibility and that we have no reason to dictate what goes or does not go into the game and that both teams should just do their own thing.

On a related note, if it is something you are worried about, please feel free to host a public poll regarding my adminship. One of the agreements to my badge was that it was possible that the enlistment would cause large concerns within the community and I would need to step down if that happened.

http://discoverygc.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=143168 Conrad elaborated a bit more on that in the original announcement and while that specific part above was left out not to provoke people into doing so, it is still very much true. In the end my participation in the team is not really measured in events, but rather how I handle things overall. If you specify that in your poll, you should get a accurate opinion.

I'm sorry, but I always read bad things about the admins. Well, since Sindroms is an admin, there are a lot of events, activity is created, there is a lot of fun because you want to be the first who wants to get the stuff. Well, one time the admins shall read something positive. Kudos to you, Admin team!

All I can say to that is I wish everyone were held that accountable, so we didn't have to deal with issues like Hannibal remaining green for as long as he did. Sorry for the bluntness, but that's what I've always been and it's something we also all know to be true. For what it's worth, you're doing a pretty good job with the cards you've been dealt.

I've always believed that we need to sit down and hammer out the details of which responsibilities fall to which team, but for some reason that's always been sidestepped with "Oh nononon we don't need that, let's just set up this shared team coordination chat which we'll all sit tensely in for a month and then explode at one another when one side does something the other can't abide by."

It's really not a good system right now, and if you'd be willing to sit down and discuss it I'd do so in a heartbeat and I'm sure @Teerin would as well.

Bullshit and you know it. Now that you got in place and do all those events, people will cry out loud should you for whatever reason get removed whilst you still held up to providing those events. Which still doesn't answer, even given Conrads post, what made you suitable for that position. Just going by "we also wanted to give controversial individuals a chance" doesn't cut it when we look at what you provide and hold up your sleeve, that being a video channel on YT where you can either praise or burn Disco, having ties to elements posing a severe annoyance to the server and overall being in a good position now bc of your events.

So what actually were the points that outweighted the cons to the pros in making you an Admin? A person banned several times, one time for the worst offense on the list, a person once being totally eliminated from the game and forums?
What is it that suddenly makes you, Sindroms, without going through the Moderation time, to be a valuable part of the staff?

He's valuable because I said so, if you have a problem with it take it with me

RE: Admin Feedback Thread 2.0 - Sombs - 01-27-2017

He keeps the motivation up.

Give me one damn night with the spokepersons of each team and I'll set in stone what each team is responsible for. I'm not joking.
The Admin-team lacks everything from courage over actually understanding their own rules (bc they're construable or can be right out ignored when it "serves the game activity", yes? - why have rules then) to having the spine to explain their decisions and stand for their views, without their textbook phrases nobody buys.
Go have a look at how Del, Joe and Zelot explained their views to people and compare that to what's now.

Oh, because -you- said so. So when -you- decide something, things just get done without any regulations or following procedures?
Wait a moment, didn't you post that you're not dealing with Disco anymore? Still hold the keys though, right? Right. You're welcome.

I highly suggest you consider the content of your next post very carefully
