Correction, this is a convenient and opportune chance for you, unless of course there is really something you can offer the Roi that would actually do more than make him laugh, or the Royal Navy. The Imperial destroyer was dented by your adorable bombing runs, oui, but it was destroyed by the guns of the Grenoble under my order. So don't go about using the destruction of a second rate imperial idiot as a means to gloat. Quite the contrary actually. If you further read the transmission left by your superior, the implication here is that we can more easily arrange the exchange of materials that the Gallic Royal Navy are interested in procuring from The Core. In fact I would suspect the Azurite that the GRN, and all other parties outside of the Edge Worlds, had in their stocks has decayed fully by this point as it was impure. Meanwhile in the time since that last transmission The Core has recently discovered a source of a new, pure form of Azurite that does not decay. So as you can see, General, there is much more on the offering plate here than a small show of assistance against Imperialist flies.

If I read further into the comms link I'd also take not of your use of technology, bounty hunter technology. The bounty hunters mind you, are enemies of the Crown. Azurite does peak the Crown's interest, but as far exchanging technology and supplies, as Marechal LeBlanc stated, the Crown currently is not interested exchanging its technology for that of Sirius.
The Royal Navy will accept the Core's mutual hatred for the Order, we'd also inform you to turn a blind eye to any "aggressive actions" against the KNF given yesterday's events, if you truly are interested in being the Crown's ally.
All this unnecessary formal wording aside, what I and the Crown require of the Core that would bring me to recommend an alliance between our two parties, is a map of the Omicron-80 system. The Royal Navy knows there's a jump hole in the system leading to deeper Maltese space, but we are unaware as to where the Jump hole is specifically. We'd also like a map of the Maltese home system, if the Core are as knowledgeable of the Omicrons as they claim to be.
If you really want something from the Crown, I'd STRONGLY suggest providing the maps.

The Core has not employed technology that has been used by the Bounty Hunters Guild. The Core itself operates on the fringes of uncharted space; some of the most dangerous regions in the entire sector: including Gallia. Our ships are designed with that in mind, and thus are technologically different. Whilst appearances of some items may have been similar, I assure you that what lies under the hood tells a much different story. At most, there is the connection between AP Manufacturing and The Guild: AP Manufacturing historically had built all the ships and equipment within the AP-Line - until recently. So as you can see there is really no connection or relationship between us or the Bounty Hunters Guild, and therefore there is no reason to judge us as them and vice versa.

Our products and technology eclipse that of all other Sirian groups with ease. We are sure that we have items your scientists would take great interest in, of alien origin or otherwise.

I sent an order to the Core|WV-Victoria to scout the system as requested. Although we have frequented the Omicron-80 / Omicron Tau system in the past, we never took the chance to scout it in depth.
Furthermore I think you'll be happy to know that the crew of the Victoria were able recover a data file on Omicron-80 and it's surrounding systems. Here is the attached data:
It seems to be a Royal Navy report. I find it quite interesting that the Royal Navy already has some documentation on the system itself, yet you did not indicate you had knowledge of that. Regardless, it is not my place to question that. We have done what you have asked from us. We hope you are pleased.
In regards to a complete map of the Omicron Alpha system, I must explain that that's a far more difficult task and will require some more time, if possible at all. The Maltese scum have made sure to fortify their home system intensely. Gathering accurate data on the Omicron-80 system is a cakewalk in comparison to the true lair of the Outcasts.
But... I do have some ideas on how to achieve the results you desire through more indirect methods. I will keep you updated.

Montpellier Guard Station -- 731 AGS -- This report is based on the data collected by Y, as well as Navy's own probes sent through the mine fields. Be advised that it was last updated in 731 AGS. Since then, the situation might have changed, but no potential for rapid developments has been indicated.
Gallia name: ROUSSILLION, Bretonia name: ORKNEY
The system remains desolate, with one small IMG base in one of the asteroid fields. IMG (Independent Mining Guild or Independent Miners Guild) presence is significant near the base, but its population is low, and, according to intel data gathered on the faction, is expected to grow very slowly or even decline in the next years. Most of the asteroid field remains completely unexplored. IMG ships do not venture far from the base.
No ships ventured near the mine field during the observation period (19 days). Presence of the mine field is known to IMG, but they are not aware of its artificial nature.
There is an Outcast presence in the system, but Outcast patrols are rare and sporadic. Ships of a group known as Gaians has been spotted several times. There is no indication that Gaians have established presence in this system.

The system still contains an Outcast base with low population. Outcast patrols are present in the area, Outcasts patrol large portions of the system, including areas in the vicinity of the mine field. Suspicious activity of Outcasts near the mine field has not been confirmed. 27 days of observation did not show any particular interest of Outcast ships towards the mine field.
However, presence of the patrols makes it increasingly difficult for (...) to collect data on the Outcasts. Quality of the intel on this group is insufficient. Y demands more money and resources to collect more information. The command has approved 12 percent increase of expenses for this operation, despite the fact that Y refuses to agree that it is enough. Negotiations on this matter continue.
