To Econ and Mining: What can I do to help you? - Enkidu - 03-17-2017

A faction development is being neglected. I'm not sure if it's because the people on the Mining and Econ involved have RL, or the backlog is fierce - probably both. This is a difficult time, as always. However, a single line within these last three months would have been extremely helpful to both my attitude and my faction's faith that doing a lot of hard work = being heard out.

So it's not happening, at least, that's what I'm going to assume until I hear anything. Alright, fair enough. In the absence of work being done, what can we do to dev the content ourselves? What materials and resources do I need to learn to put the commodity ingame myself? To give the target field a drop? To set commodity values? I have no intrest in creating something broken, I just want to see progress. Actual commodity itself will be ballanced to have a lower profit-per-second than Xeno artis if I do the work, and the danger during mining and transport will be higher. I just want the thing to exist.

Xoria, if it's too much right now, tell me what I need to do, to do it myself. Developers are always saying they want people to do this. I'm willing. The faction needs this, Devs need people to learn the ropes, its a happy result for everyone.

I need some faith that the request system has results. I'm going abroad in five months - I need some reassurance something will happen before the request is seven months old.

Edit: If anybody has access to mining and economy tutorials, please, help a sister out and send them my way. You'd be doing the Lord's work.

Personally, I'd like to express my support for this, for several reasons:
- small factions (like the Unioners) are desperately needing things to do, and mining might be a good idea to add for them;
- there is an obvious player initiative to actually DO STUFF, which shouldn't be ignored. Players create activity.
- there really needs to be a dev-trainee subforum, to ask dev-related questions and get help in learning how to submit finished content for evaluation and implementation.
