Pirate train setup (Pirating) - Zeerow - 03-26-2017 I plan on using a Train to pirate NPC transports, and although they do not come equipped with a counter measure & cruise disruptor hard point I was wondering what turrets would be best used to kill a transport quickly? RE: Pirate train setup (Pirating) - JorgeRyan - 03-26-2017 I use a Pilgrim Liner with 2 emp flaks and rest charons to pirate transports, it works pretty well. You don't have CM, but you do get 4300 cargo and a CD. Its either au8 or cap6 probs the latter and I've got just under 4k cargo left. Charons do pretty good dps and the flaks help with shields and torps. Also you can trade decently with it, although still with all the problems of unlawful trading. On what # turret hard point did you place the EMP Flak Cannons on? RE: Pirate train setup (Pirating) - JorgeRyan - 03-26-2017 Hmm... they are a different class of turret (along with heavy turrets), so if you buy them first, they'll go to their slots, then fill the rest with charons. RE: Pirate train setup (Pirating) - Daynox - 03-26-2017 You can only place them on 1 and 2 as they are the only heavy slots. RE: Pirate train setup (Pirating) - Stabby_Dave - 03-28-2017 I used to see a lot of pirate bulldogs with cap7 and full charon loadout outside Ames Research in Kepler. Nasty. |
