Kon'nichiwa, Admiralty of the Armed Forces,

my name is Yukiyama Minako, I am the recently appointed Kaigun-Taisho of the 343rd Kaigun Kokutai. It has been a long time since our groups have been in contact, way too long, considering the gallic threat is pushing deeper into Liberty and thus not far from you as well. I am aware that our relation has always, despite the seemingly perfect similar goal, been a risky one. Due to the fact that we fight a war that we, as in the Exiles, can't win by ourselves, I am looking for a much better relationship between us than before. Since we were able to push the Naval Forces out of Kyushu and gained control over the local planet, which now serves as our headquarter, we will be able to provide better tactical support than before. The details about a working militaristic and diplomatic relationship may get discussed later on, I wanted to introduce myself at first, I am awaiting your answer.

Ms Yukiyama Minako, Kaigun-Taisho of the 343rd Kaigun Kokutai,

I must admit, I was surprised when your message was passed to me by our communications technicians. "Risky" is not the word I would use for how our relations ended. I remember our relations ending on your leaders message that she would pull out her forces entirely. It didn't leave us on the best footing, nor did the near complete shut down of communication between our forces.

Why do I speak of the past, the number of issues that lead to the break up of our forces cooperation? A fair question to wonder, but I like to make these items aware, so that we may agree to "wipe the slate clean" and look to the future with fresh eyes. New Leadership can mean new opportunities, and that's truly something to look forward to.

I must ask you one question though. One that has plagued the board since we read your communique. Last we operated together, and Bretonia housed your forces, you had two battleships. How in hell did you manage to liberate a system with such limited forces?

I eagerly await your reply.

In the name of Her Majesty the Queen, and Her People in the Realm of Bretonia,

Michelle O'Brian, Admiral of the Fleet,
First Sea Lord
Bretonian Command

Kon'nichiwa, O'Brian-fujin,

you would be surprised what a strong will and commitment actually can do to a single human, one of the reasons why I believe that the fight against the Gauls is not a lost one before it has ultimately been decided. Judging by the way you put it, I assume the lack of leadership and help for you has not done you well, that basically brings me directly to the point I was going to come to. We are definitely ready to assist you against the Gauls, for this, however, we need bigger ships, I don't know how it has been before, but we would need permission to enter Bretonia with our capital ships if you would allow. Maybe we might even arrange to station one of our Takeda's in New London, if you want direct assistance, sadly, those are the biggest ships we can offer to help, but every hand we stretch out to you is a helping one.

Ms Yukiyama Minako, Kaigun-Taisho of the 343rd Kaigun Kokutai,

I am pleased to see you eager to get back to work on driving out the Gaul menace. They pose a considerable threat, to both the people of Bretonia and of Kusari. Might I suggest that whilst we arrange the housing and repair of your capital vessels, you send fighter and bomber wings to assist the Armed Forces. Fleet Commands of Suffolk and York will be able to provide refueling and staging points for you.

I hate to bring it up, but I must have it in writing that I reminded you that the Leeds system is still considered Bretonian sovereign space. As such, Bretonian Armed Forces, on behalf of the House of Bretonia, retains the right to authority and command over all operations there.

That said, feel free to dispatch your force ASAP. Meanwhile, we can iron out the kinks of the Capitals agreement. Southampton would be the only suitable staging/reaming post for your capital vessels, but we do not have the resources to spare. Could you ship materials and ammunition for your repairs? This would go a long way in talks with the BMM about loaning you a mooring berth for the duration of your stay.

As mentioned above, the BMM are responsible for the shipyard. They are responsible for the day to day running, as well as ship production and repair. It is ultimately their decision on what they have to spare, both mooring slots and manpower. If you can ship materials, it will go a long way in relieving their efforts, and you will gain my support in your bid for a bay.

My final point is restrictions. Capital class vessels should only be fielded where absolutely necessary. It is down to the ranking Officer of the Armed Forces, or the Constabulary within the House of Bretonia, as to the suitability of your vessel. If dismissed, you are expected to return to dry-dock. I need not remind you of the still recent memories of many Bretonians, following the war with Kusari.

Thank you for your time,

In the name of Her Majesty the Queen, and Her People in the Realm of Bretonia,

Michelle O'Brian, Admiral of the Fleet,
First Sea Lord
Bretonian Command

Kon'nichiwa, O'Brian-Fujin,

the shipments should be no big problem, one of my Kaigun-Shosas is a very aspiring one, often piloting a transport, she should be able to manage this. We will see how much of our force we can spare for you, One Takeda-class destroyer might be possible to be sent to Southampton, we will assist in local combat. Said Shosa and me have been in New London recently, due to an emergency call about a gallic attack in Leeds, as we arrived the fight was already over, we went to talk to one of your officials but sadly, nobody arrived, the fight was hard as it seemed. I hope you are fine with this, should you want a meeting in person, I can do my best to provide such a meeting, you may also enter Imperial space if you wish, I will contact you again soon. Stay strong, fight until the end, together we will end the Gallic conquest.

Kon'nichiwa, O'Brian-Fujin,

under this message, you will find the communication we had with the BMM CEO Ian Gunn, who approved our usage of Southampton shipyards.
That said, I will order one of my Kaigun-Shosho's to move the IKS-Ayanami, a Takeda-class destroyer, to Southampton. Since Liberty is also an active part in this horrible war, I will soon enough establish a few contacts with the Republic of Liberty as well. If all of our forces come together as one powerful entity, we will unleash the will of our houses upon the Gallic threat, that is slowly stepping inside our homes, trying to push us out like the invaders that are truly them.

If you require help from us, have a demand or something similar, I am open on this channel. The same goes for us to you, stay strong and don't let them break your will.
