Oh yea, that bounty, not only bandits attack us for our precious cargo, they may also do for bounty. Such is the low grade human been, threatening for jealousy and money. Money for non military death is devilish. If we encounter such a hunter we should identify them. SO we can serve them equally armed vessels if they come back. Good work on the mining/hauling operations lately, we have produce an incredible ammount of fund in a very small period of time. congratulation's to all participants.

Also, I will use this transmission to add a very important comment.

As you may know several of our directors are actually on a deep space survey. SO whenever the recruitment office need a director, or there a technology request or any important events, we must at first let them know. The directors will be able to accomplish this duty better then any members since they are the most experienced and are the ones managing the guild for its best. Like I said since they are in deep space, in order to let them know about events, we must use specialized very powerful transmissions.

//PM the directors if you cant contact them directly, like Beck, you can also ask Outlaw on Skype. Be ready to wait up to 1 week before a reply.

Subject: The matters at Hand

Hello Ladies and gents of the IMG. For those of you who don't know i am Gene Starwind the trade/Transport director or the IMG. As you all know the other leaders are on a deep space mission and will not return for some time, putting me in charge of IMG while they are away. If you have and questions or concerns please let me know or leave a note at my office.

The Bounty: Do not be so concerned this is not the first time the IMG has had a bounty on its head. Keep an eye on your wing side and stay on guard. If any of these bounty hunters attack please get an ID of the Vessel and we will be sure to take the actions needed to secure the Guild!

Recruitment: This will continue to grow and i will be monitoring the applications in request. I look forward to those who are looking into the IMG for the future.

This message board: I would like to remind you all the proper format in which to communicate over this Communication channel. This was in your training and yet it seems some of us have forgotten! I am not perfect ether and will admit some Static in some of my transmissions. If we can do this correctly it will help greatly, thank you.

Again, if any of you all need anything you can contact me on my private channel. I will try to get out there and lend a hand as well so expect to see the Bebop working overtime.

Subject: To my fellow guildmates

Salute to you people! I would like to introduce myself as a new rookie fighter pilot of the guild. I already had my first, and almost deadly, real fire birthday yesterday night in Tau 37 with some other IMG fellas against a fully armed Scumcast gunboat. I would like to thank Ian who, after that episode, took some time to train me around Jakarta to push my pilot skill to its limit.
I'm living between Java and Dounby at the moment. I'll be out there to keep an eye on mining operations and global security. Do not hesitate to contact me in case something pop up.
See you around good people.

Solstice out.

3. Cargo carried : Niobium ore, produced by the guild. Mox to domby station in Orkney.
4. Escorts hired: Solstice, Erynel (both recruits) , Using Nyxs.
5. Hostiles encountered: 1 outcast Tridente in Sigma-13 on our way to Berlin, 1 blood dragom VHf in Kyushu and a group of golden Crysenteum in New-tokyo on our way back.

Our escort did saved us more then once on this run. The Niobium was initially stocked on the Pangaea. I personally had some trouble with the ''Tridente'' but our two fighters made sure everyone was safe. The two other trader used the jump hole from Honshu, we merged farther. On our way back , we took more caution and let one of the fighter scout way ahead while the other one stayed with us. Th e one ahead (Erynel) eventually reported the group of GC at the new-Tokyo gate. SO We headed toward the jump hole on Honshu to Tokyo. Again we let a fighter scout ahead (Solstice) while the other one patrolled the system. Then we entered Kyushu where I was intercepted by A blood Dragon (bomber). However when he saw the 2 nyxs, he decided to let us go.

Statistics: Escort well paid , 14.000 Ore hauled, 14.000 Mox shipped. No casualty or profit loss. Eestimated profit: 170 millions SC

TO: Exploration Division
FROM: Walter Sobchak
SUBJECT: Neighbourly Greetings

Hail fellow guildmembers,

I'm submitting a report of an exploration mission into the Gallic space.

***Open document***

EXPLORATION REPORT
Brief exploration of the Gallic space.

Units dispatched:
Walter Sobchak - Spatial class, deep space explorer;
Sheila Sodenburg - Nyx class, very heavy fighter.

Sytems visited:
Orkney, Languedoc, Dauphine, Burgundy, Lorraine, Omicron 80.
Most of the core systems introduce visible signs of a major war that was raging throughout the Gallic space.

Bases visited:
Nimes Station, Narbonne Base, Grenoble Depot.
We stopped for refueling and much needed rest on remotely located bases, owned by factions openly opposed to the Royal Navy.

Hostiles encountered:
Royal Navy, Royal Police. We were practically on the run most of the time. Patrols encountered near most jumpholes. They really don't like outsiders.

Friendlies encountered:
As we were forced to travel almost entirely via cruise engines and avoid any unnecessary contacts, there were no other encounters apart from the hostiles.

Asteroid fields, wrecks and natural features.
Junk. The primary natural feature of the Gallic space is junk. It's everywhere, in every system. Ranging from wreckages of bases and capital ships to light fighters, Galia would be the dreamland of a junker. Further scans along the way revealed even more junk, and nothing except asteroid fields containing water and helium. If there were ever any fields rich in minerals, i'm affraid they might have been already extracted to fuel the war machine hunger. Then again, we haven't had much chance to take our time and scan entire systems, with all the Gallic navy on our tails.

Signed,
Walter Sobchak

What's worth mentioning apart from the attached report is an encounter with a small group of the Gallic Brigands, few days ago, in the Tau 23 system. They were immediately spotted by patrols, and approached by several defense vessels. From all the chaos that ensued on the local channels, the only information these Brigands were able to share, were rumors of a planned invasion of the "King's Men" on the Tau space. The pirates apparently wished to establish diplomatic relations with the IMG, but were unable to, due to the unwelcoming approach of the Colonial Remnant, who quickly forced the visitors to return back whence they came.

My only comment on this will be a guess as to what their motives might be. If indeed the Royal Navy is preparing for whatever operation they plan to launch, invasion on Taus or not, the Brigand messengers behaviour suggests that their organisation is endangered. If they were to establish an alliance with the IMG in face of a common enemy, they would significantly increase their chances of survival, so that when the Royalists are no more, they would have a grand new opportunity to expand further into the Sirius sector. With this in mind, caution is advised when dealing with the Brigands.

In addition, in my signature i attach an updated list of vessels in my fleet.

Walter Sobchak signing off.

SUBJECT: Galien incursion?

Last message gave me pause lads. I didn't think much about a lone Galien fighter buzzing around the Taus, figured he'd be just another LaBrise pirate in need of chasing off (or hunting for women's underwear. Don't ask). But if these "Kingmen" truly seek to invade, that could have been a scout. It came from Orkney, passed by Java, and headed towards the Tau 37 system where contact was lost. Falkland's sensors recorded him headed north before losing contact.

Should all Galien vessels be considered hostile at this point?

RE: Ornkey and Tau attack

Having landed on Reunion, I was under the impression that the IMG and Council have come to terms with their relations. The IMG provides the Council with much needed navigation data and the Council will, perhaps, privide other avenues of support.

Also the new Zoner Battleship design was through a joint venture with IMG and the Zoner exploration guild.

So why in the hell did a Zoner battle cruiser and break-off bounty hunters of the Maquies attack the CR and IMG?

I've been working with a few Zoners to keep an eye out on the more outreach systems and that's all I'll say about that. But in all things Zoners are neutral and take no sides.

I would like the ID and IFF of that Zoner Battleship that attacked us in Ornkey and I think that was a rouge ship as stated by the Zoners. If that is, they will be happy to know where it is operating. With all the hussle it slipped my mind.

Also, has anyone contacted the Council and Zoners about this attack?

I'm getting close to a jump hole and will need to cut communications before too soon.

I may not be around Tau systems much longer but I'll stick around the best I can.

As my brother says, Remember the Righteous.

I was on guard in the tau sector, I receive hostile transmission fragment from Cali base. There I saw the ICMG engaging the junker bandit. The fight was going to be a rought one. Hopefully, when the combat vessels saw my antimatter weaponry, it quickly docked with fear.

Meanwhile an outcast dreadnought decided to expose is ''infamous'' ship to the crowd, it did not stayed in the system but tried to return once again. In fact, the ICMG was the one warning me about his presence. We had a bomber squad and a patrol gunboat to control the movement of the warship. After a while I understood its presence was no threat for the operations. All it wanted is an act of war. But I did not ran into an useless fight. I ordered our group to cut all communication. Like I expected no combat took place, the lone dreadnought decided to give up after a while by docking on the Freeport.

I strongly advice not to actively hunt outcast out of our mining field, they are too stay calm in their evil lair.
Also, note that I have scanned the dreadnought entirely while it was at Freeport. It is fully equiped with secondary battleship turrets with limited range (1600) and one heavy mortar. Long range bombing is recommended in the case this capital ship was to invade our area of interest.

RE: Turf war

I hate to have to admit it people, but this little turf war the Colonials have stirred up with the Outcasts is bad for our mining operations. Continuos, day by day assaults by Outcast supercapital ships on the Java and Falkland bases are highly disruptive. Not to mention we now seem to have another group of Gallian pirates to contend with. I understand there is little we can do to stem this tide, but the fight over Java seems to only be escalating. Now there's report of some kind of zoner involvement, and another faction, SCRA, as well?

I strongly urge that all of us interested in the -defense- of our mining operation in the Taus, have a sitdown and let us figure out a better strategy then "be attacked, counterattack, brace for the counter-counterattack, arm for the counter-counter-counter attack" and so on.

We're miners, not soldiers. Defending our mining operation and increasing it's efficiency should be our primary priority. Giving the Outcasts a bloody nose when they poke them into said operations should be secondary to that, and accomplished with large, on-call amounts of strikecraft stationed at beforementioned bases, with the intent to strike, destroy the target, and return to base. I recommend as a result, to -not- pursue the enemy if they come into 5K of the Cali base, or in Tau 37, about midway. Driving them off is enough, and brings home the point that we are not defenseless, that should suffice.
In doing this, we'll cease being much of a military threat to the Outcasts, and I suspect they will soon realise that expending the supplies to keep sending supercapital ships our way, is pointless.

Panzer's choice to pursue the enemy right onto Malta's doorstep was a huge misstake. It has cost us. It's time to cut our losses and consolidate. If not, we might as well move the entire mining operation and abandon Java and Falkland alltogether.

TO: IMG, IMGG, ICMG
FROM: John Sanders on behalf of chief Erynel Rolace
Subject: Alternate mining locations, prospecting

Attached is the recent mining report for the Carsten Miller:
After being driven off of the Tau 23 and 37 Niobium sites, our crew has started a bit of a trek in search of new mining grounds. We have sampled the following areas:
- Tau 29, near the Kyushu gate. Ore mined: Hydrocarbons.
We have sampled roughly 500 units of these as a test. The field still seems to have plenty of ore and the nearby Tsushima depot in Kyushu offers a reasonable price at roughly 900 credits per unit. The site is more or less secure from piracy: Should pirates overwhelm the miners, one can retreat through the jumpgate. If pirates pursue, battleship Nagumo stationed on the far side of the gate will give them something to consider. The profit however, is marginal, for a short trip on a fairly safe site. Occasional Outcast patrols frequent the area, trade traffic is light, and there are significant Kusari patrols securing the site.

- Cambridge, asteroid field 2 near planet Cambridge. Ore mined: Beryllium
Much more remote and secure then the bustle of the Tau systems, Cambridge would be a good candidate for a larger mining operation. The asteroid field seems to have been completely overlooked by BMM, and is rich in resources. Initial scans have sensed a complete absense of any bases or jumpholes in the vicinity. The nearest base would be the planet Cambridge and the nearby Cryer facility. The field is also huge - we won't run out of ore any time soon there.
There are occasional Corsair light patrols to contend with, but they are manageable. The lack of any nearby jumphole makes this site a potential hazard for pirates who like to have an escape route handy, and the field size suggests it'll take them quite a while to find any mining op in the deep of the field.
Establishing a small storage and resupply base at the rear of the field would greatly increase security of such an operation, but under the circumstances, it is doubtful the Bretonial authorities would permit us to.

So far we have harvested three full loads of our heavy miner. The Berlin Ring offers the best price at 8500 credits a unit of ore, but denies us landing rights. It was no matter, the Junkers proved a useful intermediate (and hinted they would be willing to help again, for a fee). But if we establish a full mining operation there, we could likely hire additional transports not affiliated to the IMG, to assist us in this matter.

- Leeds, Stokes asteroid field. Ore mined: Niobium
The BMM's misfortune could become our fortune. With Stokes no longer under BMM control, the field has basically become a contested ground. 'Though most of it has been mined out, there are still some Niobium deposits in the center of the field which can be harvested. BMM still holds a presence in the form of scout patrols, likely keeping an eye on the field from afar and being the eyes and ears for the Breton Armed Forces. Occasinally a Molly seems to get lost in this field too, but those seem rare. They prove little more then a nuiscance.
The field however has a rather poor yield, and it's deposits are small. I recommend against a full mining operation in this vicinity - The field would be exhausted before the operation would reach full capacity. It is a viable, slower alternative to the Tau 23 and 37 fields in times where mining there is too dangerous. Profits in Cambridge would probably be higher.
Two full holds have been brought to planet New Berlin, through the Kushari-Sigma 13 route. I recommend this route due to the BMM presence in Bretonia which could stir trouble for our traders, if any.

- Colorado, Silverton asteroid field. Ore mined: Silver
Only for those with an angel's patience. This field is all but mined out, but trace amounts remain. I project it would take the Carsten two full days of mining to fill up on this field. Not a viable option for heavy mining. Xenos and Liberty patrols, along with bounty hunters, run into scrims every now and then here. Mining near the Pueblo facility is reasonably safe. Trade traffic through the nearby lane is high. The one advantage is it's proximity to the best selling point: Narita. Still, the yields are so abyssimally low that I recommend this option be abandoned. 200 units delivered to Narita, at over 10000 credits per unit.
We also sampled the Copperton field but it appears to be completely mined out, with no copper remaining. This could work in our favor if Liberty ever has need of copper ore, seeing as our mining base in Tau 39 has an abundant field of it. That field needs to be resampled once the situation in Tau 23 calms down.

- Pennsylvania, northern asteroid field. Ore mined: Silver
Not much to report about this field. Visibility is poor and the yields are comparable to those in Silverton. Interference from the nearby nebula created a lot of static on the comms. Pennsylvania just isn't worth the effort now the hydrocarbon, platinum and silver fields are all but exhausted. The cryogenic conditions in the nebula near planet Eerie would cause havoc with our engine systems, and is not an option.

- New York, Detroit scrap field. Scrap mining operation.
With our disappointment at the silver yields we tried our luck in the Detroit scrapfield just to see what it will do. We quickly found the Hegemon completely unsuited for this kind of work. The metal confused our sensors an a Rogue gunboat coult approach almost unseen - We outran it though. We'll leave this kind of harvesting to the junkers. It also soiled the tanks with hazardous waste scraps left in the debris. We'll leave this work to the junkers from now on.

- Omega 7 - Ice fields near the Cambridge gate: Water
To purge our hold we headed to Aland and had the shipyard's facilities give us an overhaul. Also we upgraded our mining emitters and replaced our turrets with faster tracking ones. Chief Erynel still isn't certain about this but I am positive we'll need the faster tracking. His dream of driving off gunboats with heavy turrets is a dangerous one. Crew majority vote, kill the buzzers, dodge the bulls. Aland advised us their water storage tanks were low and asked us to gather some in exchange for the work done. The field around Aland itself was sparse, but the area around the Cambridge gate held water in abundance. It took us all of 15 minutes to fill the single use tanks Aland had provided. The base is now well supplied, for at least another month or so.
It should be noted that a standard Hegemon class vessel is poorly equipped to handle gaseous or liquid materials (although with a seal refit at a nearby shipyard, it is possible).

We have also considered a brief prospecting round in the Omega systems but decided against it. There were too many enemy signatures and reports of battle. Since our comrades from the ICMC have indicated their intent to set up an operation there, so I suspect their miners and forces should have little problem getting this information. Rheinland remains largely unprospected by our crew, we will make a point to investigate it next.

6. Any other interesting encounter or event: Hostilities took place in Tau 23 and Tau 39 during the absence of the CR Forces.

I started my patrol as usual from Java and I was reported outcast activities which took place a bit earlier close to our station. Well, in fact, the 2 outcast sabres were not close to the station, they were standing under the station, where the Java turrets were not a threat to them. From this place, the sniffers managed to paralyze Java’s activities. No miner or hauler could dock or undock from the station without being harassed by those scums. I understood one of our miners tried to fly to tau 39 with his haul full of ore, but the 2 hostiles followed him to tau 39 and shoot him down when he refused to pay them 5 million credits. The miner is safe but the hegemon and 2700units of ore are lost forever // In fact, the outcasts didn’t even play any RP.

transmission sent by Zoner vessel in the Tau 23 sector > http://discoverygc.com/forums/index.php?sh...c=77189&hl=

After I heard this report, I decided to go check the Tau 39 system. A zephyr carrier class vessel (RDA Tanto-and-Katana) joined me for the patrol. Once we reached Tau 39, we discovered that the 2 outcasts from earlier were attacking Jakarta’s station. 2 nyx fighter class were already trying to protect the station, IMG¬|Sheila.S.[D] and ICMG [SL69A]Magnesite. Once we reached the perimeter of conflict, The Zephyr didn’t take long to kill one of the two hostiles, Catherina Araceli.
The other hostile, Martin.Torres, tried to flee and we chased him for quite a while, but our main objective was to kill him slowly and make him pay. I’m no shame to say that I sadistically had a lot of pleasure when I took out the life of this man.

Once Tau 39 was cleared from this vermin, I went back to refuel at Java.

Important notice: With the CR forces missing, some outcasts are acting more aggressively than usual and are violating the most basic rules and protocols every guild or faction agreed to respect. IMG defense division must take major measures to answer this critical situation.
