Bonsoir Commandement,

We were alerted to a situation developing in the Magellan and California Systems today. I raised the crew of the Dunkerque and we made our way to California post-haste. Upon arrival at the battlescene at Planet California Minor, I formed up with out forces consiting of multiple battleships, a destroyer and subcraft. The hostile forces numbered two Carriers, a destroyer and few snubcraft. We managed to quickly and precisely strike at the carriers, taking them out before combining focus on the hostile cruiser. We suffered no losses in that sortie. Returning to our posted bases, we encountered a patrol of multiple Bretonian subcraft, though those were dealt with by our supporting snubcraft.

Attached you will find the guncam of Dunkerque's first destroyed hostile.

Respectueusement,

Félix Lacroix

A quick announcement.

As Logisticien I am here to report the completion of Issoudun Drydock, a massive shipyard in Edinburg to service our ships and stage them so we may strike right into Bretonia’s heart. What this means for us on the front lines is now further capital reinforcements will be routed to this new drydock. So all requisitions for capital forces can be processed from there rather than our home systems and shipyards, easing our logistics.

The Corp de Ingenieur has provided the anvil, and the Marine Royale shall be the hammer that crushes the very last of Bretonian resistance. The Roi expects great progress in the coming months, lets not disappoint him.

Bonsoir Commandement,

we were alerted by Battleship Betheny's sensor teams to hostile forces in the Magellan System. Upon unmooring, myself and the crew of the Dunkerque encountered multiple Crayterian rogues in the vicinity of the vessel. A battle had just started so we manned our battle stations and prepared to assist our forces. Hostile forces consisted of atleast two Carrier-Class vessels and one Cruiser-Class. Alongside the Dunkerque were another Cruiser and a Valor, as well as bomber class vessels. The hostile cruiser was dispatched with haste and wasn't able to play a big part in the battle. The two Carrier class vessels proved more formidable, though they two were eventually dispatched one after the other. Needless to say, the capitaine of the Gasconge had a very good day. The Dunkerque was able to claim victory over the last hostile carrier. Our forces had suffered no losses.

Félix Lacroix

*The screen flashes with Fontaine's comm-sig momentarily, then reveals the man himself.

Bonjour.

This is Commandant Fontaine. Reporting on behalf of the 5G Units operating in Bretonia's trade lanes. Majestique was dispatched to interdict trade within the Bretonian territory, namely a rogue transport with the callsign "togo" detected by Marine Royale forces engaging along the front. Regrettably, after Patulacci took his leave from action we were unable to locate the vessel in particular that he was searching for.

We will need to do something about that. But there is good news. On our sweep of New London we encountered a Junker "ship" with the operating name " Red Mist" coming in from Cambridge system. It confuses me how such a dilapidated wreck is even capable of operation. We stopped and interrogated the vessel per nominal procedure. It was carrying a substantial reserve of unprocessed cobalt ore. After the Junker's admission that he intended to deliver the cargo to Liberty, he was coerced into giving it to us instead. Bretonian rapid response forces attempted to pin us but we were a step ahead of them, bypassing the elliptic and utilizing the recently repaired lane network in Leeds to return to civilized space as quickly as possible.

IDF dealers on Sarcelles have paid handsomely for the shipment. The funds have been disbursed between myself and monsieur Vaillant who was operating with me during the trade interdiction. Vive le roi.

l'introduction

This document is visible to all enlisted officers of the Marine Royale Gauloise, hereby I, Louis Clement state, that I have conducted service in the ranks of the MRG on the 5th of août 741 A.G.S. Honneur et Patrie, Valeur et Discipline. Pour le Roi.

Déclaration de soldat: Louis Clement

Rang: Maître Principal

Topic: Defense of Leeds

Description de la/des situation/-s

Situation:

On the begining of my flight, I was called by the capttain of the GRN-Marseille, who tried to defend a gallic trader from a Maquis and a Bretonian raider in the Tau region. The 2 enemy bombers, however, got the transport down before I even had a chance to get to them. THey where then in a fight with the Marseille, which had serious trouble fighting in the dense field of Tau 31. So I made it my main goal to get the Marseille out of the system without any bigger damage. We were able to get back into Leeds, where we were able to hide from the enemies. At this time, both sides were calling in reinforcements. The Bretonians got the BAF|HMS-Sovereign to their support, but our support from Planet Leeds came ways quicker and in higher numbers. So the RNS-La.Galissonniere joined our battleship fleet, and Alizee, GRN|Raptor and MRG|Eloi.Leclerk supported me against the bombers. I was able to finish off the Maquis bomber, and the La.Galisonniere landed a lucky shot on the Bretonian. While we were fighting with the bombers, the La.Galissonniere took heavy damage by the HMS-Sovereign. We were not able to prevent that, I apologize. But at least GRN|Raptor was able to keep the Sovereign distrupted, so the GRN-Marseille could avenge our fallen Valor.
A short time after we took care of their last ship, we found another Bretonian bomber, which Raptor engaged in a duel. However, we couldn't finish the fight, because an Ion-storm forced us to retreat to Leeds. We did not see the ship again after that.

While we thought the battle was already over at this point, the Bretonians used their chance to reinforce their troops in Leeds.
The BRF|HMS-Leviathan battleship, the HMS-Gossamer gunboat and a fighter pilot named BAF|MN-Jeff_Miller quickly arrived in the orbit of Planet Leeds.
A few of our forces were already back planetside on Leeds, but we recieved backup from Garde-17, a brave bomber pilot. The captain of the Marseille came up with a plan, which would guarantee our victory. Their battleship was very busy with shooting us, so it did not notice that the Marseille was already behind it. We all concentrated our fire on the Leviathan, so it went down easily. After that, we fought Jeff Miller, who got taken out by Garde-17's alertness. Garde-17 quickly noticed that the enemy was launching an unhealthy amount of mines, so he responded with his cruise distruptor missile, which detonated the mines and took out the fighter. During this time, the gunboat left the battle area towards the West Leeds Smog Cloud. I apologize again, that should not have happened. If I would have been a bit more attentively, we would have been able to also destroy this ship.
But in the end, I think it was a rather successful day for us. I will list all important information below.

Enemy ships:
Solitude.de.Knight (destroyed)
BAF|Lt.Eva,Flameheart (destroyed)
BAF|HMS-Sovereign (destroyed)
Teacannon (lost)
BRF|HMS-Leviathan (destroyed)
HMS-Gossamer (got away)
BAF|MN-Jeff_Miller (destroyed)

Allied ships:
GRN-Marseille (alive)
Alizee (alive)
MRG|Eloi.Leclerc (alive)
GRN|Raptor (alive)
RNS-La.Galissonniere (destroyed)
Garde-17 (alive)
MRG|Louis.Clement (alive)

Important guncam shots can be found below.

Bonsoir Commandement,

we were alerted yesterday that one of our own was facing hostiles in Leeds. We launched the Dunkerque and raced to assist the GRN-Marseille, who was already engaged with a hostile Dunkerque-Class Battleship. The Marseille was already struck by the hostile multiple times so I went to battlestations, we joined the fight. The first hostile was dispatched with haste while a hired Freelancer kept a hostile fighter in check. A second Dunkerque-Class battleship arrived, but quickly turned to run into the cloud behind Leeds, though it was chased down and finally also dispatched. We took no losses, though the Freelancer was not able to prove her worth against the Peasant that she fought. You will find our guncam shots below.

Bonsoir Commandement,

Today's engagement put Outcasts against our mighty forces. Outside Planet Leeds, a hostile Sarissa and another Capital Vessel were engaged in combat with one of our own Destroyers. I led my crew to assist as our Destroyer took out the hostile capital vessel, our focus now lied with the hostile Sarissa. This engagement turned out closer than I would've liked, with the Dunkerque suffering major damage, we were forced to moor for repairs after the engagement, but I am happy to say that the Sarissa was destroyed. Added on you will find the Dunkerque's kill cam shot.

Topic:Smuggler dealt with

Description de la/des situation/-s

Situation un:

I recvieved word of a smuggler transport flying through our motherland that was carrying contraband, human organs to be exact and he fled a naval officer after refusing to stop knowing he had contraband after being told.

Situation deux:

Today I was carrying out my duties patrolling our motherland in Dauphine at Gap station trying to catch out smugglers, when the same transport description came up on my scanner, I immediately stopped the transport and scanned his cargo to double check and it was confirmed it was carrying contraband, he did attempt to flee but I did cruise distruipt him and denied being stopped before, he was carrying human organs and in a pirate train both against the laws of Gallia so I attempted to tax him with 30 million and he said 'I'm not paying you anything frog' and tried to flee, so I open fired and destroyed the vessel, one less smuggler flying throughout our space.

Bastien Monreau signing out.

*The screen flashes with Fontaine's comm-sig momentarily, then reveals the man himself.

Priority transmission to Amiral Chanteloup.

Inbound after-action report for your review Amiral.

Today I was providing some personal motivation to our units in the Gendarme Nationale. Conseilard activity along our flanks was increasing, and we moved to sniff it out, however the peasants already had fled to their fortified position behind Egilsay. So we disregarded them and proceeded on into Tau. Little transpired there but word soon reached us that the Conseilards and the Bretonians were launching a joint strike against the occupation forces at Leeds. Gendarme stood down, but I proceeded with the assistance of a couple Valors and our strike pilots. The end result was quite predictable. The traitor battleships were broken down and the fighters did not fare much better.

Of particular interest is the unusually large supply of tea that one of the Bretonians was carrying. I have consumed some of this tangy substance after the battle, and it ranks somewhat above the rat piss that Libertonians are known to drink. The remainder of the tea has been sent on a convoy to Calais for analysis. Our officers think it may lead to stronger destroyers. I doubt this, but it will still be interesting to see.

Honneur et Patrie. Valeur et Discipline.

Bonjour,

Today I have received a call from Maitre de Vaisseau Honore Dumas of the 5G from within the New London System. Apparently, a peasant was caught transporting valuable cargo through the system and ran into his arms. Moving the Oiseau.Chanteur to the given location swiftly and safely, the peasant happily provided us with their cargo. We got escorted back to Languedoc by the kind Monsieur of the 5G, and then flew the rest of the way alone. Our friends of IDF-Shipping should be thankful for the valuable cargo that we have basically gifted them!
That would be all for now.

Sincèrement
Marine Royal Gauloise, Sous-Lieutenant
