Bonjour,

Yesterday was...a not common day. Majors events happened.

My patrol started in Dublin, near the Gold Mining field. Some Bretonians and transports were here. The Bretonians ran away while I intercepted the transport. He prefered to pay to the Roi instead to die for nothing.

Few moments after that, a civilian gunboat called Fallen.Star came. I had the surprise to learn that the capitaine of that gunboat is a reality a Gallic woman, Madame Claire. Before she explained her story, the Conseillards traitors came to push back us. They failed miserably and I destroyed one of their fighter. The whole mining field was henceforth under our control and I talked with Madame Claire.

It appears this capitaine was on the Army and fought on Leeds against the Bretonians. She told me something went wrong. The Council destroyed her life and it seems she and her friends have been betrayed. Thusn she decided to leave even if she was considered as a desertor. Though I haven't seen so far a gallic with such Gallic values in her blood. With her gunboat, she is pirating the Bretonians transport within the Omegas and she did an awesome work with 75K of Ore confiscated to the Bretonians in a single day.

A Gallic Metal Service miner ship, the Vignemale shortly jumped in Dublin in order to mine some Gold. We defended it during this operation and we escorted him back to Edinburgh. However the Bretonians decided to counterattack. They brought a cruiser and a battleship to take back the mining field. I returned to Le Cendres and took Grasse. With the RNS-Gascogne we destroyed the cruiser. The battleship ran away.

In the evening we suffered an attack from the Cultists forces. We made a little truce with the Bretonians and destroyed them. Those ships clearly had a technology superior to ours.

Bonjour Capitaine,

The Task Force Tamaran has began the operation within Omega-49. With one of my fighter, the GRI pilot Francis Kane and Chevalier we met at Carillon. Then we moved to the located jump hole in the West of Dublin. Even if there are several Mollys installations, we haven't met any of them.

We jumped in Omega-49. Everything was clear at the jump hole. We decided to go near the planet. Apparently, the planet is completely under the control of the Bretonians. However there is not defensive bases or battleships around the planet. There is still a civilian base well protected but no more. Thus we explored the system and moved towards the sun. There we found the battleship Stirling and three Bretonians fighters. A coalition fighter was as well here.

Both Bretonians and Coalition engaged us. The fighter of Chevalier and Kane has been destroyed. Though, I had the time to destroy one Bretonian fighter before my turn.

At final, the Bretonian battlegroup is still there and it appears that for now they will guard the system. They were surprised of our presence there. We will do again some 'visits' there and gather more informations.

Bonjour,

I have some excellent news to report. The Battle of Provence went swimmingly, and we were able to destroy the Battleship Oblique, along with around 25 Battleships escorting it. Both the Crayterians and Counselliards lost their chance to take over Provence, and while they had the numerical advantage, our superior tactics were more than a match for them.

I flew an Eclipse Bomber into combat, equipped with the finest Royal tech, from Cannes Resort Station. From there, I assisted the Arles and her escort, and personally fired the shot that took out the Battleship Oblique. The Arles eventually suffered from internal damage, and was destroyed during the battle. However, many of our warships were able to escape to Ile-de-France, after making sure that the Council and Crayterians were unable to capture the Provence system.

The GRI has contacted our forces, and reports that they were able to wreck Hyeres Anchorage through excessive sabotage. Their Battlecruiser, the RNS-Sisteron, will be deployed in our place to secure what assets we still have in Provence, and to watch for any repeated invasion efforts by our enemies.

I am proud to have personally killed the Oblique, and several of it's escort ships for The Crown, and as I wait for repairs on my Eclipse bomber, I know we were triumphant in this conflict. May we score many more victories in the future of this caliber, and may The Crown last ten thousand more years!

Bonjour,

While I have not been racking up kills on the battlefield, I have been setting up our new primary science liner, the Chamonix. Upgrades have been consistent, with the most recent being a Cloaking Device Mark III. This device was built at Melun Research Station, and has paid off already during anomaly sweeps in Orkney.

My warnings about the Egilsay Prison have been proven correct, as a Secret Intelligence Service agent, Jonas Hudson, attempted to stop the Chamonix in the Arnon Asteroid Field. He appeared to be flying a snubcraft, which would have been able to stop the Chamonix and evade it's defenses, had it not been for our cloaking device. As acting captain, I was not about to let him steal our Scientific Data, and decided to engage the cloak, rather than try and scan another anomaly we detected in the area.

The agent himself was impressed with the maneuver, as he should be. After arriving at Fort Albi, I gave the order to start using empty areas of the Chamonix for the construction of a small, internal experimental weapons factory. With this, we should be able to convert what we know from the data into real, and very deadly weapons for our ships on the frontline.

In other news, I've sent out a communication, calling all available Royal forces to join us in the attack on Egilsay Prison. That base must be destroyed if we are to continue our scientific endeavors in Orkney. Plans for the assault have been finalized, and we will need at least 3 Valor Battleships in order to conduct the attack within a small timeframe. Prolonged siege will only allow more enemies to try and stop us in our tracks.

Continue the good fight, and grant The Crown the victory we all deserve. Vive le Roi!

Bonjour,

Our efforts have paid off in Orkney. Several Battleships from both the primary and secondary fleets arrived at my command, and destroyed the Council's infernal prison above Egilsay in a matter of minutes. Several defenders arrived, just in time to see the fireworks. We put them out of commission as well.

After our work was done in Orkney, I, along with the rest of the fleet, moved to New London to assist in the offensive campaign. The Council will remember this as yet another loss on their end, and another reminder that sedition never pays.

Vive le Roi!

Marine Royale Gauloise Mission Report

l'introduction

This document is visible to all enlisted officers of the Marine Royale Gauloise, hereby I, Louis Clement state, that I have conducted service in the ranks of the MRG on the 8th of mars 742 A.G.S. Honneur et Patrie, Valeur et Discipline. Pour le Roi.

Déclaration de soldat: Louis Clement

Rang: Capitaine de Corvette

Topic: New London battle

Description de la/des situation/-s

Situation:

Earlier today I was called to service once again. Together with a few others, I was assigned to a patrol in New London. While we were organizing our route near Battleship Le Cendre, the first Bretonian ship entered the area. It was a transport vessel, but equipped for combat. The pilot first tried to make us an offer, but that turned out to be a rather unimpressive fake. Fortunately, I was in command of the RNS-Nice, which meant we were done with that ship rather quickly. Almost at the same time, the Bretonians recieved fighter support, however one of our pilots had him under control. The Bretonians kept getting more and more ships. A Crayterian cruiser and an old "Dunkirk" battleship arrived at our position, so I quickly decided to get the RNS-Nice to safety on Leeds. There I took my Cougar and came back to the battle as fast as possible. In the meantime, we got some reinforcements, a fighter and a Triumph destroyer came to our support. The Bretonians brought in another two fighters, both were destroyed by Thierry Renault, the same person who already took down their first fighter.
Pierre Vaillant and the captain of the Triumph called RNS-Victoire, myself and the pilot of the Chavalier.de.Provence took down the Crayter cruiser and the Bretonian battleship without any trouble. The Victoire remained untouched, while we only took minor damage. Thierry Renault was meanwhile able to destroy the other two fighters, but just as the last one was finished, another fighter showed up. Renault's ship took some damage from the fights before, so the Chavalier.de.Provence was sent to assist him. Together they managed to finish off the last fighter. After that the space remained quiet. We sent out another fighter wing for the patrol, since we were busy repairing the damages on our ships.
You will find the details of today's events below.

Enemy ships:
HMS-Pheasant (destroyed)
BAF|Cmdr.Eva.Flameheart (destroyed)
BAF|Lt.Tom,Hartman (destroyed)
BAF-Jackson.McGregor (destroyed)
[BAF]-Joker (destroyed)
HMS-Westminster (destroyed)
CRN|-RNV-Oathkeeper (destroyed)

Allied ships:
Thierry.Renault (damaged, alive)
MRG|Pierre.Vaillant (alive)
RNS-Victoire (alive)
Chavalier.de.Provence (alive)
MRG|Louis~Clement/ MRG|RNS-Nice (alive)

You will find guncam shots below, which will confirm these kills.

Bonjour,

Yesterday a large fleet departed of Southampton Trinity to attack the defensive Bretonians and Libertonians positions near the planet New London. The fleet was composed of a whole squadron of fighter and bomber, the cruiser RNS-Victoire, the battlecruisers Grasse and la Rochelle and the Valor RNS-Normandy.

We engaged the enemy soon after our departure. The Libertonians tried to ambush La Rochelle, but they only had as result the loss of a battleship. A pathetic Bretonian battleship has been then destroyed. We regrouped at Le Cendres afterwards. La Rochelle left the fleet as she suffered damage from the previous attack.

The RNS-Sombre Destin with experimental weapons joined the battle while Grasse had to repair. We received a communication saying that the RNS-Victoire had difficulties against a Libertonian battlecruiser. With the fleet we moved there. The Sombre Destin engaged the HMS-Aegis while Conseillards traitors were gathering up. We squashed their forces with minimum losses.

Vive le Roi!

Bonjour,

I entered in contact recently with the Independent Miner Guild and their forces stationed in Omega-3. I gathered several informations about the current situation there. The IMG base Cardiff in Cambridge has fallen in the enemy hands. However Aland shipyard still hold the Bretonians forces away. For now.

I offered our help to the miners as the Bretonians moved considerable forces there, the New London front is weakened. If the miners manage to destroy with their allies the Bretonians forces, thus our victory is only a matter of time, if it is not already.

The pression on Aland is very high. Though we maybe can do something. A little task force can make a strike in Cambridge in order to attack the Bretonians in their back and give some time to the IMG. I made a recon mission yesterday in Cambridge and found a hostile installation, undefended. This is a good target. The only matter is to distract the Bretonians.

Vive le Roi!

Bonjour,

As planned we launched the Opération Éclipse yesterday. A little part of the TF-Malouines reached Cambridge system via the jump hole in New London. Our forces, le Sombre Destin and RNS-Die and some snubs haven't been attacked while our progression in New London. It appears the plan worked for this detection part.

Once in Cambridge we found thd installation, though the Independant Miner Guild and their allies weren't there. We waited a bit and concentrated our fire on the station around Ross Planetoid. The Bretonians gathered their forces and we had to retreat before they find us. Our capital ships escaped and for now the incursion in Cambridge is a success even if we didn't give a blow to the Bretonians. The opération will continue soon.

Le 24 Mars, 741 A.G.S.

Madame, Monsieur,

As per standard procedure, I was performing post-patrol maintenance checks in the orbit of Planet Leeds when a neutral contact appeared on my scopes, arriving from the Nouveau Londre Gate trade lane. The vessel (and pilot) were of clear Sirian origin, and appeared to be but a simple trader. However, my suspicion was aroused when the ruffian failed to answer my hails; instead, he accelerated to cruise. I initiated pursuit, and chased him along the trade lane in the direction of the old hulk the Bretonians call a mining station. His vessel was, to my shame, fleeter of foot (wing? engine?) than my own, and started outpacing me. I kept up the hails, politely requesting that he either cut his engines so that I may inspect his cargo and arrest him (for flight is a sure admission of guilt, and he was flighty indeed) or face certain death at the hands of the MRG and PRG. Due to the initial distance at the start of the course-poursuite and the scélérat's considerable speed, he kept out of main sensor range throughout the event, although I was able to determine that he flew a freighter of Sirian make due to his equipment (Flashpoints and other Sirian civilian weaponry) and engine trail.

I was most concerned by his eventual, confusing response to my hails. Either he was very very lost, or the Coalition ordures are up to something - although I do not believe their agents would act in such a blatant and overt manner. Even communists have standards, after all, low as they may be.

Like all stories, though, this one came to an end - a most satisfying one, if I may be so bold. The gredin was atomized by one of the MRG's own glorious battlecruisers, on patrol along the lane. I can only guess as to how a (hostile, by that point) Sirian pilot managed to display such incompetence, enough to fly up to one of the Roy's capital ships - with no regard for the inevitable consequences. If brains were dynamite, he wouldn't have enough to blow his nose. No matter; it is done, may he rest in peace. The return to Planet Leeds was uneventful. I was not able to find out what the ship carried, or even if there was anything inside.

This concludes my report. Vive le Roy! Vive Gallia!
