Subject: Extraction of IMG Battlegroup Rockabill

Bonjour,

Due to the dramatic events in Omega-3, the Opération Éclipse ended. Nonetheless I made and launched yesterday the Opération Bouclier Royal.

The Independent Guild sent a message saying their Battlegroup Rockabill was moving towards Dublin and wanted to reach South Shields in Newcastle to participate the final battle. Their battlegroup joined the Hood but it was obvious the Bretonians detected them, as consequences, the Miners requested our assistance.

I organized an extraction plan. I took the command of the RNS-Bonne.Naissance and went in Dublin to rescue the isolated IMG forces. We meet soon after my arrival and initiated the jump drive sequence. Few minutes later, we were safe in Leeds and the fleet reached South Shields as planned without loss.

The defense perimeter around the base is finished and wevarecready to deal with the cups of tea.

Vive le Roi!

Sincèrement

Marine Royal Gauloise, Commandant Pierre Vaillant.

Bonjour,

I received a report from Le Commandant Louis Clément reporting about a skirmish in New London. As he still busy with office stuff he charged me to make this report.

The RNS-Grasse went help a GRI squadron attacked by a Conseillard traitors and Bretonians snakes fleet. Grasse engaged them and destroyed the Conseillards with the GRI. Meanwhile, enemy reinforcements came with another battleship. Grasse called help to handle this and the RNS-Die of Commandant Clément destroyed a battleship while the other one ran away like a coward.

Later within the day, it seems he destroyed as well a Redemption in New London. This day was ours.

Vive le Roi!

Bonjour, colleagues.

It was a while since i have addressed you with any kind of information, i suddenly found a lot on my table, and thus - bound to my quarters aboard of Sarcelles - the events that have unfolded at Omega-3 and Cambridge brought a suddenly huge amount of paper to me as to the responsible officer.

This period, however, have finally came to it's unpleasant end.

And there's something all of you should know.

Rats linger at our backdoor.

Old Trafford is the name of their lair.

As i have passed the Birmingham wreck in my Valeur temporarily assigned to the secondary fleet - it's defense modules have instantly opened fire upon Sarcelles.

I suggest this nest to be removed as soon as possible.

Sincèrement

Marine Royal Gauloise, Commandant Emilie-Sophie de Belmond.

Subject: Bretonians failing to push us back

Bonjour,

It appears the Bretonians tried to push us back of New London using their last offensive reserves capabilities. They attacked the Southampton Trinité with largely insuffisant forces composed of two Dunkirks, several cruisers and bombers.

We welcomed them as all the Gallics do with the cups of tea. A fleet of Valors and cruisers engaged them. As the TF-Malouines was stationed in Newcastle, I jumped in my fighters with we chased the bombers. Our Valors succeed to destroy the Bretonians capital ships in an all-out attack. Nonetheless, and despite this, we suffered losses. Our warships have been damaged and only La Gallisonnière remained in the party with a cruiser.

While they were retreating, we finished the cruisers and all the bombers have been destroyed. I guess this piteful attempt is the last one the Bretonians will do with such forces. The damaged ships currently get repaired.

Mes respects Contre-Amiral,

It has been a while since the last time. I am happy to begin new business with you. Yesterday, the Amiral de Gaule announced the beginning of the Project Résurgence. You can see it in detail what the Amiral is expecting from us.

We will need a great coordination between you and me. I guess you have a better knowledge in me for the logistic. But I will gladly do my part regarding the offensive and defensive systems of the ship. I have already some ideas.

Let me know how you would like to begin.

Sincèrement

Marine Royal Gauloise, Commandant Pierre Vaillant.

Commandant Vaillant,

Repairing the Cassard will be quite the undertaking. One that is beyond any of the facilities available in Languedoc. The closest shipyard capable of servicing warships the size of the old Vauban class would be Fourchambault Shipyard in Dauphine. I can arrange for an empty drydock to be readied for her. As for the specifics of her towing and salvage, I will leave that up to you. It will be more than likely completely impossible to bring her back under her own steam to Fourchambault, so I'd recommend sourcing tug craft for the operation.

When we have her safe and sound at Fourchambault then we can discuss the specifics of repairing and modernizing.

Cordialements,

Contre-Amiral Nicodeme Guillory

Mes respects Contre-Amiral,

I understand. I will imediately begin the salvaging operation. Even if this will be a difficult task, you can trust in me to have the Cassard in the drydock of Fourchambault really soon.

I will contact you once this first step done.

Today, I took my Cougar bomber for a perimeter sweep that included Edinburgh, Leeds, New London, Magellan and Cortez.

At New London, I stumbled across a Deep Space Engineering "Retrofit Transport" that carried a full load of Gold Ore. As per Gallic Royal Charter Section 2, I demanded him to drop his cargo. He did not obey and resisted detainment efforts. After a couple of Nova salvoes and scattergun marks, the vessel made a run to a modular installation called "Secret Valley Workshop" and done an emergency moor.

Marine Royale Gauloise Mission Report

l'introduction

This document is visible to all enlisted officers of the Marine Royale Gauloise, hereby I, Louis Clement state, that I have conducted service in the ranks of the MRG on the 8th of mars 742 A.G.S. Honneur et Patrie, Valeur et Discipline. Pour le Roi.

Déclaration de soldat: Louis Clement

Rang: Capitaine de Frégate

Topic: Lorraine operation

Description de la/des situation/-s

Situation:

Today, we celebrate the success of Opération Quiche Lorraine.

The first strikeforce, which consisted of the RNS-Die, the RNS-Algerie and the RNS-Bonne.Naissance. We were supported by the the Intelligence units \*/~La.Obedience and \*/~La.Vigilance.
After a quick field test, we figured out that the hostile object was almost undefended. Only one defense structure was nearby, but it was rather easy to find a gap in the defense line.
We decided to quickly inform the amiral and recieve further orders. This was very time consuming and thus the RNS-Bonne.Naissance had to leave the area to recieve more supplies for its crew members. The \*/~La.Vigilance also left the area, without stating a reason.

After we recieved the permission from the amiral, we immediately began with the deconstruction. After a few minutes, we recieved support from the RNS-Landerneau and the \*/~Alsace. The operation went easily and quickly from there. The enemy station was fully destroyed, and the Intelligence units took every survivors as prisoners.
I will leave some pictures of the operation below.
(pictures)

Now for an different matter. I want to let you know that I will leave the Bretonian front for some time.
I will go back to Gallia and meet some people who I've been working with in the past.
I'm not really asking for your permission, I just felt like I should let you know.
I will be back soon enough, don't worry.
In the meantime, Capitaine de Frégate Pierre Vaillant will be in charge of the RNS-Die.
He will also remain as the ship's second captain once I've returned.
I am sure you can handle everything without me.

Signed,
Louis Clement

Bonjour,

We have returned from the long voyage out of enemy space.

We took aboard the "Messier" sensor suite at the logistics depot in Leeds several days before the planned Liberty Navy fleet movement into Bretonia. We proceeded to the California system where we met up with two agents of the GRI above the planet Mojave. We were joined by two more fighters from the MRG and at one point the battleship Sarcelles.

We shadowed the Liberty Navy convoy through the Ontario and Alberta systems. The battleships Whitefield and Fairmont were escorted by a considerable force of capital ships. The Harmony battle group and the Lane Hackers were bothering it all along the way, as were various other minor criminal groups.

The GRI and MRG fighter pilots slowed the convoy down at every turn. Their unceasing raids on the trade lane networks were valorous and daring, and gave us considerable extra time to take readings and photo-vis readings of the enemy fleet. Due to their interference, my ship was able to take up an advance position hidden near the Alberta supergate. We collected an enormous amount of data from the gate - which I'm sure is being processed by signals division as we speak. Once we confirmed that the enemy convoy was through and that the gate had been shut down, we beat a hasty retreat back through Liberty and into the Magellan system.
