All Marine Royale forces,

After recieving intelligence from Voile Squadron about a base being utilized by what little elements remain in Leeds by stranded Liberty Navy carriers, I investigated this myself. Indeed I did locate a facility that was built in secrecy to the Crown. Not only was it kept secret from us, they also dare to deny our vessels docking access, while mocking our origin. Seeing as this facility is being utilized by stranded Liberty forces, this facility is marked for destroyed. Appropriate forces will receive their orders and enemy base location once the time is right.

Situation:

All Marine Royale forces,

due to the possibility of more unwelcome guests building their fragile homes in our system, as the incident with the unknown station that was detected in the West Leeds Smog Cloud lead us to suspect, the area was inspected again. Another construct has been localized and verified again. And again we will send our forces to punish the intruders for their impiety towards la nation and its marine. The operation to dismantle the construction will launch as soon as possible.

Bonjour, monsieurs et madames de la Marine Royale Gauloise.

As scheduled, the Algerie departed from Planet Leeds, under escort back to Gallia in order to effect a combat systems retrofit. The transit to, and conduction of, the retrofit went smoothly -- the Algerie is now appropriately fitted for combat, with the latest weapons, armor, and internal upgrades. The trip back to Sirius was equally uneventful. A lone Bretonian gunboat was apparently attempting to perform cargo interdiction maneuvers within Leeds, but fled once they had caught a glimpse of true power. We are now stationed in orbit near Planet Leeds, and await further direction.
Vive le Roi, vive le Patrie!

Bonjour.

This is Commandant Fontaine. Le Roi's Justice has been administered to the peasant hordes again. They continue to struggle against enlightened rule, but are no match for it.

Count one. California patrol. I hopped in my Cougar and rendezvoused with la Moqueuse, on trade interdiction duty. It was largely uneventful, the Liberty dogs refused to get in our way as we assailed the system's shipping lanes. We ran into a couple of "unaffiliated" Libertonian traders. Their utter shock and inability to comprehend even basic orders resulted in their destruction. They were hauling some form of ale, which as far as I can tell from visual inspection is just bottle upon bottle of fermented urine. Utterly disgusting, but as ordered the samples we have collected are already on an Armored Transport back to Calais. My guts are screaming just imagining how this stuff tastes.

Count two. A probe into New London. We were continuing our trade interdiction patrol when eventually we came in contact with a Bretonian police officer and a destroyer. After the initial tactical maneuvering concluded we began to trade blows -- the policeman got a missile in the cockpit for his troubles from Moqueuse. The destroyer was ultimately able to overpower Moqueuse, but timely intervention from the RNS Fauconneau was sufficient to end the Sirian warship.

Count three. The Bretonians launched a merciless counter-assault against our position at Leeds. By this point I had elected to secure my Lynx and joined the fray as the fight in orbit reached its peak. The Brets had definitely come in hard, our battleship line was stressed to limits and ultimately collapsed. We maintained sufficient "air cover" throughout the operation however, and were able to utilize the asymmetric firepower capacity of our bomber wing to punish them for their insolence. We had aid in that battle from some Maltese types against the Bretonians... something I didn't particularly expect. Something to look into, if we haven't already.

What a day. Bring me wine. This rat piss won't suffice.

I wish to personally commend you over your work on the frontlines today. Although I was initially against granting an important position to a member of the exuberant, overly fatuous and generally smug Avant-Garde, your efforts have proven me wrong and have earned you a solid place in the Marine Royale. Although it is not, strictly speaking, in my power to bestow such a reward upon you, I have personally evoked your name for a title of nobility. I know you've coveted one for a long time, and this might just be your chance. Keep up your valiant efforts, and you just might be made a Chevalier.

I will keep you informed. You, on the other hand, shall continue hammering the Sirian brutes into proper citizens of the King, by any means necessary.

PS : do watch out. The active chemical agent known as "Liberty Ale" has been known to cause severe gastric distress to several of our soldiers, cruelly poisoned by the enemy. The samples will be put to great use and could save many lives and upholsteries.

Today the Marine Royale has begun deployment of its "5G" units, tasked with ensuring the occupied Sirian territories service the Roi with the resources his forces need, in order to continue spreading the light of civilization to the untamed frontiers. Naturally, this involves the appropriate application of force when collaborators and would-be resistors attempt to deny the Kingdom its rightful spoils.

Intelligence packet

The preceding intelligence drop contains verification of the success of these operations. Thousands of tons of unrefined gold ore have made it back to the smelters at Saint-Denis, and illicit weapons have been delivered to GMS contractors for disassembly and re-purposing. This, mes amis, is the finest task in which our formidable Taureau and Perilous squadrons can be devoted, and it's far more productive than logistical milk runs that our corporations could be handling in our stead...

Bonjour,

I accepted command of the battlecruiser RNS Chanzy this past week at Avallon Station in the Burgundy system. Although I will look back fondly on my time aboard the Volta, it is already apparent to me that service in the reserve fleet was chafing and anxious. We left stardock with a full load of countermeasures and cruise disruptors, but without our Predator anti-ship missiles. I was told these were only available to be disbursed in large amounts at the front.

We transited Dauphine and Languedoc, passing into Tau-23 the same night. We moored alongside the Guillestre for twelve hours and took aboard a complement of fifty-six Royal Marines. That night, many of us spent our first sleep outside of our Gallic homeland. The anticipation of finally reaching the front made it difficult to rest. In the morning, we entered Tau-31 and passed into Leeds. We took on additional stores at Glasgow Outpost and we first laid eyes on occupied Bretonia.

We spent the next few days running shakedown patrols in the system. We are now moored alongside the battleship Castres in New London and are taking aboard missiles. Words cannot convey the excitement I feel to be in sight of the enemy's capital.
