I recently met with a pilot belonging to your division of the Corsair Empire, Icarus Agusto-plou-polos *struggling to pronounce the name with her Gallic tongue* if that sounds right. The nobility and the Royal Navy would like to know what exactly the Custodi would have to offer beyond intelligence promised in a recent transmission to the Royal Navy. While the southeastern front may have peeked the Crown's interest in the past it's not an opportunity we can commit resources to quickly. If you have an alternative offer, I'll hear it.

Kyria Marechale, I was the pilot you talked to. I see you have the previous communication we sent to the Royal Navy so I will get straight to the point. The previous deal we had with Grande Maréchale LeBlanc included intelligence regarding the southern front of Bretonia. I hope you understand that the ability to move forces directly from Leeds to Cambridge and Omega-3 is invaluable for us and will undoubtedly be useful for you as well. With the offensive on the northern front being in, judging by what we can see from Crete, a very costly stalemate, a move from the south might surprise Bretonians and give you the necessary edge. I think intelligence on the Bretonian relocation program to Sprague might also prove to be advantageous. Now, our offer to give access to our own exports from Crete to Gallic corporations still stands, but, as far as I understand from what's been said to me by their executive, they are unwanted. Should that status change, we can always provide you with whatever surpluses we have for a reasonable compensation. Lastly, there are diplomatic matters. Corsairs, under the Dorian regime, have done a very good job of shattering our reputation and it is one of our goals to fix it. Our common enemy is the Kingdom and I think both our sides would benefit greatly from, if perhaps not a lasting peace yet, at the very least a non-aggression pact between our forces. While I am not in power to speak for all of the Corsairs, I can assure you that the Custodi forces will assist you against whatever the Armed Forces might come up with. I hope for a favourable response, Kyria Marechale. Yours sincerely,, Ίκαρος Αυγουστόπουλος Icarus Augustopolos General of the Custodi |
