To: The Corsair Council of Elders Priority: HIGH ![]() "I do not normally speak to the sworn enemy of my people directly in this manner. However the circumstances warrant me having a personal talk rather than having my Office deal with the matter. As you know, the former Reapers of Sirius have for the most part retreated to their fortifications in Cayman, positioning their remaining forces at the entryways in an effort to defend their last real scraps of territory. These Reapers are genocidal monsters who are as inhuman as their former Outcast friends, they have attacked both Coalition and Corsairs in their efforts to destabilize the conflict in their favor. Obviously this cannot be permitted to continue. Now is the time for a...Radical proposition. I have come forth with an offer to the Corsair Empire that would both remove a known pest from our conflict and expand our respective territories. The Coalition is willing to split the system of Cayman with the Corsair Empire, the Coalition will be ceded everything South of Planet Braillia while the Corsair Empire is ceded everything north of Planet Braillia, seeing as the planet is a useless husk due to the Reaper's rather insane attempts at seeding Cardamine into it's atmosphere and rendering it uninhabitable for human life it shall be our natural border. Neither the Coalition nor the Corsair Empire shall wage war with one-another within the Cayman System, neither shall they make any attempts to impede the other's assaults upon Reaper strongholds in the system. The time to remove these creatures from the face of Sirius is near. Will the Corsair Empire seize this opportunity with us to ensure they are a threat to neither of us any longer?" The so called "Reapers", have been a thorn in our side since they split from their Maltese Brethren, and brought their plague of Cardamine into the Edge Worlds of the Omegas. A chance to sweep them out of their final holdings would be a sweet victory for the Empire, however... It has been a long time since our people held any trust between us, if there ever really was any, and it would be incredibly short-sighted for us the jump into such an agreement without some way of knowing there can be some sort of trust between us. How can we know that you won't turn upon us, foolhardy as that may be, once the Reapers are gone. Not to mention, what reason could you have to trust us, and cede half a system to us? I, and the Council, await your reply.

To: The Corsair Council of Elders Priority: HIGH ![]() "Trust is a precious commodity here in Sirius, yet trust is what brought me here in the first place with this offer. It is perfectly understandable that there is an insignificant amount of trust between our peoples due to the on-going conflict between us, however we both want the same thing, the prosperity of our respective peoples. These Reapers seek to burn, kill and change anything that does not suit their twisted views, they would burn our people to the ground while twisting yours into a mirror image of themselves. I trust we have the same desires to remove them from the field as it were and are both unwilling to risk any of these inhuman creatures escaping their fate to continue to disrupt, burn and manipulate us both. I want the Corsair Empire onboard with this as Cayman naturally borders with your own territory, should the Coalition push in where do you think they will go? To Omega-47? Where the Red Hessians would likely descend upon them like a pack of dogs? Or try to punch through our forces assaulting them from Omega-49 which would be suicidal? They would try to infiltrate your territory to start anew despite your own guard posts, believing that your men would be 'sympathetic' to them. It is better for us all if they are contained and destroyed in one swift stroke, if even a few survive they would target my people first in a suicidal attack aimed at genocide. Likely through more desperate measures than before. That is why I would not want to risk a conflict in Cayman, while a single Reaper is left there is still a chance of them continuing to try to destroy our peoples. Mine through Genocide, yours through manipulation and idealogical change. Such a purge would likely take a year or two due to the planet reportedly having hidden bunkers of them hidden beneath the surface, if we fought one-another that would simply be a chance for them to escape from their bolt holes and start fresh else-where. A reason why we have to have some trust in one-another upon this. For the Reapers are a threat to us both, to fight each-other would be a folly they would capitalize upon. Outside of Cayman we would continue our...Disagreements in a standard fashion as expected, however Cayman is simply too much of a risk to continue our disagreements as previously stated. It would not be a truce on a permanent basis, I will state this outright. However the Reaper Purge takes priority over our conflict. Once the Reapers are gone and verified we may continue our conflict without Reaper interference or risk of escape. You can trust us on that front, while we may not like your Empire due to both ideals and ancient history which sparked off our conflict we hate the Reapers of Sirius far more."
