Avery,

I was wondering where you've been in recent days, and when I say the familiar call-sign of Speedster yesterday, I was relieved that you were doing fine. Imagine my surprise when not only is there a new operative behind the handle, but to find out that you've gone and gotten yourself promoted. Congratulations!

I am sure you will miss commanding the Revenant, or flying in the front line, but your position has its quirks I believe. We do hope we'll be seeing you around still, even as we know you are a far busier man than normal now. There are of course a few things I would like to discuss and thank you for as well.

The first being the operations in Pennsylvania. I'm positive you know we're busy refitting a derelict base out there to extend our operations in Liberty. I'm also sure you know we've seen the Revenant and other ships in the area while we've being doing so. I'd like to reassure you that we have in fact seen nothing of note to report in the area, and that aside from the Forlorn pilots who patrol it at current, the location is entirely abandoned. It even seems that the sensor that detected the Revenant was found to be malfunctioning and displaying ghost images. Now that its been fixed, we can clarify that there was never anything there.

Secondly, I would like to thank you for the gift Speedster refereed to when I met him. We'll take good care of it and I'm assigning my best to be its pilot. It has a fine history behind it, and we'll ensure that it lives up to it in future. I've already confirmed the delivery to Yuma, and picked it up to be moved to a more secure Forlorn installation.

Aside from the above, all is good, and business is booming. We do hope to be hearing from you soon.

Sincerely
your friend,
Nick Stenn

Mister Stenn,

Nice of you to congratulate me on the elevation in rank so quickly, in truth I was more surprised than anything else upon hearing the news. Everyone else seems to think it's been a long time coming however, so who am I to disappoint? I'll always be sentimental about the Revenant and while I might not parade about the decks anymore, it'll still follow directives from my desk. One can't have everything they want.

Regrettably, you won't be seeing me leaving trails in space, at least not to your knowledge. That would be against protocol and the Agency isn't one to put 'high-value' assets at risk, regardless of how much I enjoy the nuances of equality.

Down to business now, of course. Your presence in Pennsylvania, I welcome it given the nuisance of certain 'locals' and your unassuming colours compared to ours, I'm sure we can both transmit relevant and interesting bits of information back and forth like that, needless to say the Agency does not object to your presence there in any way, but will be expecting a certain level of cooperation. I personally have no doubt that you'll come through in that regard, as you already have been for quite some time now.

Regarding the gift, you're welcome. Just don't sell it to some Junker with a keen eye for good scrap or dent it beyond repair. It's a show of trust and gratitude to how productive and helpful you've been thus far. I'm sure it'll be put to good use, it only seems fitting you possess a ship made in Liberty, while actually operating more intensively within Liberty.

Forward any concerns, propositions or general queries directly to my desk here at Office Red Oscar, this cooperation began between you and I personally, there's no reason I would pass it on to an intermediary.

Take care, Mister Stenn.

Director,

Sorry for the delay in sending this, but its taken me a while to assess the ramifications of something, and I believe you will no doubt see an advantage in what I'm about to tell you that I'm either missing or incapable of using.

I recently met two of the Gallic Brigands in Tau-29. They were not hostile, and actually afforded me a fair bit of information in their attempts to gather their own on the Forlorn. The short explanation is that they're a more refined version of our own rogues in Liberty, and a darker group as well. They don't seem to have much intel on anything Sirius side, and seem to be attempting to find a way to channel their own goods into this part of the universe.

They were able to withold information on their precise operations from me, but not before revealing they trade in heavy drugs and human organs, and have found an ally in the Outcasts. Additionally, while I was talking to them, one of the Golden Chrysanthemums stumbled on us, and after an introduction, seem to be willing to enter into a cordial relationship with these Brigands.

Now, I'm not exactly inclined to keep in contact with these people myself, especially due to our conflicts of interest in regards to their choice of allies, but I will admit that they must have some measure of resources if they have so quickly made trade agreements with the Maltese, and that this may present an opportunity that can be... exploited... in Gallia itself.

I have deigned from contacting them further at the moment, but have kept tabs on them, and will assist you in utilizing this potential asset if you see cause.

Sincerely
Knight Captain Stenn

Mister Stenn,

I thank you for taking the due diligence of reporting these findings to me and I also sincerely apologize for the delay in my response to you. I do however regret to mention, that entities with strong ties to the decrepit half of the Maltese society cannot in good conscience serve as our partners in any venture.

At the very least, we will uphold a pact of non-aggression, but there won't be any trust coming from us towards glorified drug-dealers. Siding with such parties and aiding them would only hurt the Republic and indirectly benefit the Maltese, and that's not something we can ever allow. I hope this clarifies our stance on things and what our course of action is.

Take care, Mister Stenn.

Mister Stenn,

A recent reverse engineering experiment with the infamous cultist technology yielded a device worthy of field-testing. Obviously I can't say all that much of what the device is and what it might be capable of doing, but such testing cannot take place in Liberty for equally obvious reasons, which is why I'm reaching out to the Agency's closest associates to do this for us.

There currently exist two prototypes, one of which we are willing to share with you, provided that you relay to us a systematic analysis of the performance. You may deploy it in any way you see fit outside the border, the technology itself cannot be traced back to us, the only evidence we modified the device exists in this single communication.

I trust your discretion and I trust your judgement. Let me know if you're willing to perform this test for us. My personal suggestion would be to target the supply lines of any prevalent enemy to both you and I and then watch the subsequent develops, or lack of development rather in the cruise drives of all ships within the radius.

I think you can understand what I mean. I'll wait for your response.

Director.

Now this is interesting. Reverse-engineered from Cultist technology you say? I can't imagine how much trouble that was, but I'm not about to look a gift-horse in the mouth. I can think of several places such an item might be deployed, one of which would definitely allow for in-depth testing of its capabilities.

I feel obligated to warn you that once we've deployed this particular unit, we'll be studying it in an effort to replicate it for future use in more locations. Naturally, all data collected will be shared with the Agency.

Take care out there Director. I'm sure we'll be in contact again soon.
