Britonia-Kusari War - Angel - 08-31-2006
The GNN crew was meat with wall of Fire and energy as they jumped into tha Tau 29 system, looking around, all the pilot could see where ships, Fighters dogfighting in ever direction, Britonian and Kusari battleships slugging it out against eachother, wings of gunboats doing what they could to stem the onslaught of either side.
In a blinding flash of light a Chimera exploded infront of there Armoured tranport, as a squadron of Templars followed right behind it. All soon became Dark as the transport fell in the shadow of a Britonia destryoer being its attack on the Terigowa, a Kusari battleship.
The GNN pilot saw the Terigowas Turrets Turn, and in veangeful defiance open fired on the Destroyer. It was Over before it began, the destroyer Throttle to full power and charge its enemy, every gun firing to the point of overheating, they where brave, but bravery can only get you so far. The golden orbs spraying fomr the Terigowa's guns ripped through the destroyer. Fire blossomed from every deck of the destroyer, the lower wing buckled, then blew off, spinning out of control into a group of Britonian and Kusari fighters, some collieding with the large chunk of debris.
The destroyer was un-recognizable now, all that could be seen was a ball of fire as It Rammed the Terigowa. The force of the collision, buckled the mighty battleships side, and it to began to sucomb to its wounds. All the lights went out and the guns silenced, Its back broken the Terigowa's reactor erupted in a beautiflu starburst, before it ripped the ship in two and dissinagrated the core of the Vessel.
The GNN crew stood in sarrow, this wasn't just a war, it was Total War, this wasn't going to end until one house was completely dead. Just then a dozen Chimeras screamed past the transport, with two squadrons of Templars on there tails.
The chimeras where heading strait for a britonian battlegroup, as they approache they fire a salvo of Torpedoes into the Britonians, Torpedoes raced in random directions, as the chimeras broke off there weapons hit there mark. One Hit the Gunboat Reanolds, and it simple evaporated, only leaving its wing tips to trail off into nothingness.
The Battleship Prince Allan was hit all long her port side, apparently she had lost her attitude controls since she was starting a death Roll. Kusari fighters swarm to her as though they sensed the death of a great beast. Her escorts rallied to her but it was to no help, A second salvo of torpedoes shattered the Forward section of the ship, and she to went silent.
As they sat and watched this horror unfold, they couldn't believe what was happening, sure there had been war in britonia, but not to this level of carnage, neither side was giving an inch.
And, as they thought nothing worse could happen, six large Trains appeared exiting the Jump gate. The crew where puzzled, what where trains doing in a combat zone, they where britonian, and had no civilian markings.
As the pilot scanned them, his gutt clinched, they where filled with over Forty nine thousand tons of H-Fuel each. They streaked past at Cruise speed, spreading themselves across the Kusari Line. But there was something wrong, the Kusari wheren't shooting them.
The GNN crew could only watch in horror as the trains cruised right into the center of the Kusari Fleet formation, and all at once, detonated. All where blinded by a brilliant white light, as it quickly fadded, they saw six massive balls of fire, each at the very least 3 Kilometers across, but the shockwaves, those did the dirty work.
As the shockwave spread, all caught in there way disintagrated, a battleship was litterly ripped appart hull panel by hull panel. Men and women sucked into the vacum of space where insinerated by the blast. A half destroyed Kusari destroyer carrined into the bridge of the Lead Kusari Battleship. Both intertwined into a deadly imbrace. It was like watching Fireworks as the fighters exploded. Little puffs of orange, red and yellow riding the leading edge of the shockwaves.
This was to much to see, some members of the GNN crew where crying uncontrolably, Other simply watched as the battle insued and Kusari and Britonian Re-enforcements arrived......
This is kinda a GNN log of the battles in Tau-29, If you would like to add feal free, though Im trying to stay fomr putting in any of our characters, maybe Kane's GNN man

As The Battleships Nagumo and Sershatzi Approached the End of the end of The Trade Lane they where greated by a pair of Britonian Battleships.
" This is captain Dexter Smith of the Britonian Battleship Agrippa to Kusari ships, you are ordered to stand down and surrender your commands and prepare to be boarded. "
The Lt. Commander on the Nagumo looked to his captain, there was a pause, then " Launch fighters ". With that, Chimeras started pooring out of the Main hanger and form up.
" This Is your Only warning, If you do not Surrender we will be forced to initiate Deadly force. ".
" Sir, enemy templars coming In on an attack vector, orders? " This is Nagumo Command, hold your fire, let them fire first, won't start this but by god we'll finish it."
As the Groups Approach each other, Chimeras and Templars Raced into firing range of each other. " Enemy ships are locking on...and firing! "
Blue and White Bolts sprayed from the Templars Guns. Chimeras paused, then returned Fire. The Nagumos and Sershatz Long range Guns opened up, the concussion rattleing the pilots in there ships near by. Bolts of Gold energy streamed twords the Britonians, There where multiple Impacts, but the Britonians where unfazed, They returned Fire and Opened up with there Defense Grid.
Bolts Of energy streamed in every Direction, " Fire control, lock onto the Rowenoak! " the Nagumos Main Guns slowly turned and stoped, pointing at one of the tw Britonian Battleships.
" Target Locked.." there wasn't even a pause.." FIRE! " the Main guns Fired, Huge Balls of Fire Streamed twords the Rowenoak, Blowing off huge chunks of armour, She Returned fire with her own dose of deady fire, Huge Mass Drivers Fire balls of Ionized plasma, They hit Square, blowing off several of the Nagumos Blades, Fire blossomed on both ships.
" Alpha six, Pull hard right and ill come behind him! " A chimera rolled then pulled hard right, revealing the templar on his Tail. The Targeting hud beeped several times then sounded solid, he had Tone. Firing away with all six disinfectors the space around his cockpit glowed gold and blue. He hadn't Noticed he was yelling at the top of his lungs, as he blasted away at the Templar. The templars engines shot out, and shields gone, he spun out of control, and exploded. The Chimera pilot hadn't noticed the Wing flying straight twords him till it was to late.
The Nagumas Captain watched a Chimera spin out of control and Collide with the side of the ship It had a wing impaled in its cockpit. he Noticed the the Agrippa coming in on Sershatzi. In a brilliant wave of power, the Agrippa fired all weapons in on the Sershatzi, Fire blossomed all over the Sershatzi as the Agrippa glided over.
" Captain!, We've got a destroyer coming In! " he turned to the front and noticed a the Charlestown, a BAF destroyer begining Its attack run. " Gunnery, lets test our new supprise, charge the R-90 " after pressing a sequence of buttons, a low rumble could be heard on the Bridge, " Primary weapons ready sir, and where in range! "...." FIRE! "
A solid Beam of energy shot from a one of the Nagumos Main guns, Hitting the Charlestown dead on, the massive amount of energy stop the destroyer dead in its tracks, the gunnery officer moved the turret, moving the beam along the underbelly of the Charlestown. In a firestorm of plasma and debris, she split in two, silenced.
" Sir the Sershatzi! " the Nagumos Captain turned to see the Sershatzi, burning, on all decks. " Hiroshi get out of there, get to the life pods! ", " To late to get out, Primary systems are hit fire on all decks now, nothing left to do except.....<Static>", he ran to the Window, " Hiroshi....HIROSHI!!! "
The Giant Battleship Lurched forward, Ramming the Agrippa square in the midships. The two great ships intertwined and then wen't dead. " All guns Target the Rowenoak, Maximum firepower! " the entire ships shuddered as all its guns focused on the Rowenoak, " Sir reactors at Its Limit we need to cut back " the gunnery officer yelled but he didn't care, he wan'ted blood, " Keep Firing!, and Close to point blank range, I want to be right down there throats..." " Aye Sir! "
" Min Guns Ready sir " the gunnery officeer stated, " Send these fools to the afterlife..." there was another surge of power and in a brilliant flash the Beam Gun fired again, Racking the Rowenoak stem to sturn. She Rolled, and in a mass of Internal explosions died without another shot.
" Whats our status? " the damage control officer turned around " Damage to all sectors, Fighters are still engaging in sector 4 " the captain not noticing his brow was bleeding and shrapnel in his Arm. " Its a good thing it stoped when it did, we couldn't take much more..." there was beeping on his console." Ohh no "
The Tau-31 Jumpgate opened revealing two more Britonian Battleships and escorts.
" This is the BAF Battleship Churchill to Kusari Naval Forces, you will surrender your ships or we will open fire. " The Nagumos captain could only smile, It looked like he would die with honor.

Angel, the story is lovely. It's the sort of narrative I try to emulate and enjoy reading, largely due to the strong command of imagery and descriptive language.
I would post something (with your permission, of course), but my characters are all occupied elsewhere. Perhaps Earnshaw Jr. could find himself embroiled in this conflict at a later date and time.
Plotwise, this sort of reminds me of the sinking of the Bismarck. The British are temporarily defeated... but they return with greater numbers!

I'm enjoying it since I"m a big Bretonian fan and it's neat to see a story develop between the two houses. I will work on developing a story for it, but it may not be that good, so I'll send it to you before I post it.

The only characters I've got that would be interested would be my phantoms ones, well bloodfrenzy definately.
Just his style to let the britonians and the kusari mash each other up then finish off the survivors.
It's good, I like reading your RP posts angel, lots of descriptions and most of the pictures are supplied by the readers imagination.
If I felt I could contribute without hi-jacking the thread I would, after asking you via PM first.

A lone Outcasts Stiletto watched all the carnage from the safety of distance. It was just outside the scanner range of the big ships. Amazed and somewhat terrified at the display of firepower...
The young Outcast female ventured this far out of sheer curiosity. 'Loot!' she thought.
