Tyber was born prematurely during his mother and father's short stay in Manhattan orbit, on Newark station. His father was there for business, his mother looking for a short holiday before Tyber's due date came. He was a month premature, but there were minimal issues during birth, and no adverse effects have been noted in his life.
His childhood was spent on Manhattan, barely worth noting, until he began his working life in a Hardware store under his uncle. Through that, he came into contact with a Universal rep, who secured him a place in flight school, and when that was finished, a job piloting a Heavy Lifter for the Corp.
