To: Forlorn Hope - casualty - 08-16-2017 From: Jack Worth, Planetform Incorporated Encryption: Twin Band Alphanumeric Subject: An offer Command of Forlorn Hope,
My name is Jack Worth and I represent Planetform Inc. as a General Manager of Operations. I speak on behalf of our CEO, Mr. Fletchey, and the Board of Directors. I believe you are aware of the situation in Magellan system. Gallia forces now pressing into California, and just one trade lane away from California - Magellan jump gate there is Planet California Minor, major project of Planetform Inc. We suffered from Gallia attacks most likely more than any other corporate entity in Sirius. We cannot allow that to continue any more. We need good security and, if needed, a capable combat force to fight back. Now, my question is: are you ready to enter long-term relations with Planetform? What we need from you is your spaceborne units, mostly for escort operations and system patrols at this point. We also need instructors to train ground troops and security personnel. In exchange, we offer some monetary compensation. It won't be too large as we are not in the best financial shape right now, but it will be reasonable. We also offer you a permanent base of operations and full access to maintenance facilities on planet California Minor. Are you interested? Yours sincerely Jack Worth PlanetForm Incorporated RE: To: Forlorn Hope - Byron - 08-16-2017 INCOMING TRANSMISSION

Dear Mr. Worth, To introduce myself briefly, my name is Elena Voigt, representative of The Forlorn Hope. It is a pleasure hearing from Planetform Inc., seeing that you are willing to engage in business talk with my company. We are indeed very well aware of the situation in Magellan, having fought the Gallic intruders there ourselves already. Those are dire times, considering how far Gallia has already managed to push through the allied defenses, and worst: It doesn't seem like they are about to be stopped anytime soon. Thus, we can definitely understand your need for better security around California Minor. As chance has it, we are probably by far the best contact point for you right now. After all, we are an absolutely independent force, different to the fleets of the Liberty Navy, and thus are currently not pinned down by any kind of stalemates like the Navy is. What we can offer is, as you already mentioned, a combat-proven security consisting of pilots experienced in dogfights and effectively countering larger presence of enemies. We are open for all sorts of security contracts, may it be Escorting or Patrolling; flexibility is the name of the game. Additionally, we can come up with a force of ground troops as well, its leaders could theoretically start instructing your own troops as well if you wish for that. Now we come to our terms: Monetary compensation naturally is a must, but we prefer regular payments over unstable ones, meaning that in case your company truly is in a financial crisis currently, we will be satisfied with a medium amount of credits. As we are not aware of your finances, I suggest you name the amount of a for PFI possible flatrate, and we will check if it's appropriate. As we will have to regularly patrol California, a base of operations on California Minor, preferably of permanent nature, will come in handy there as well. We would also like to ask Planetform if it is able to support The Forlorn Hope with devices or knowledge of techniques on how to handle water collection independently. This is all for now. We are awaiting your reply. Yours sincerely, Knight Captain Voigt The Forlorn Hope CLOSING TRANSMISSION
RE: To: Forlorn Hope - casualty - 08-23-2017 From: Jack Worth, Planetform Incorporated Encryption: Twin Band Alphanumeric Subject: An offer Dear Ms. Voigt,
In these dire times, it is very good to see people who share our views and beliefs. I also appreciate your professional approach to the matter. I'm agree that flat rate payment in this case makes most sense. As the events unfold, we could negotiate different terms and per-engagement payments, but for now I'm willing to offer you 30,000,000 credits a month for your services. The services that we expect from you will include: * at least five patrols per month in California system, focused on locating pirates on the lanes and potential scouts of Gallic Navy. * escort Planetform transports on demand, each transport will individually compensate escorting pilot with 2,000,000 credits. * report any encounters with hostile vessels within California system. Hostile vessels include ones identified as: - Gaians - Galllic Royal Navy - Liberty Rogues - Xenos - Lane Hackers Note that Planetform won't provide any bonuses for engaging the aforementioned vessels. However, employees of PFI), if present at the time of engagement, will compensate your pilots individually. In addition to monetary compensation, we will provide you a fortified compound on the planet as a ground base of operations, and let you use California Minor spaceport facilities with highest priority. As for training our ground security forces, we could discuss it later after you let me know if these terms work for Forlorn Hope. Yours sincerely Jack Worth PlanetForm Incorporated RE: To: Forlorn Hope - Byron - 08-26-2017 INCOMING TRANSMISSION

Dear Mr. Worth, The proposed terms of yours are in line with what we have expected, so I think there is no stumbling block left to engaging in a business deal between The Forlorn Hope and Planetform Inc.. It is an honour for us to contribute to keeping the stability of Liberty's economy up despite the heavy militaristic pushes of the Gallic war machinery. Of course California Minor as an outpost of ours must be a high priority then, as it would ensure a far higher effectiveness from our side, being stationed right next to the trouble spot. I would suggest this contract to be initiated as soon as we head into September. As for the Ground troops trainee you have proposed, we will have to discuss such inside our own ranks first before we can give you a clear answer whether we are willing or have the capacities to give your own troops some coaching. I will be back with an answer soon. Until we hear from each other again. Yours sincerely, Knight Captain Voigt The Forlorn Hope CLOSING TRANSMISSION
