This has probably been asked before, but could the shield and thruster from the Marsflyer be put for sale anywhere (such as the most complex (location and rep) base there is). This is because currently it cost, in wasted fund (resale values), roughly from memory $11 million credits to get them, not including you need $20 million to start with and then still might have to fly most of the way across the Freelancer map to get back the ship you were initially flying.
I would not mind if they each cost $5 million and had to become friendly with a complex selection of factions just as long as you nolonger felt like you were wasting so much money. (This might also mean that people would not just form trading characters to get two bits of equipment.
My two cents if it has been asked before just a quick response will do.

Its the price you pay if you want to get that little bit of upgrade ... It used to be done
alot for the weps, the shield and thruster, were just a bonus. Now its not really worth
doing it at all ... Ship stays though.

Let me try putting it this way: I've never (maybe rarely) used more than 50% of the Advanced thruster power, I generally have Nomad thrusters mounted and I think I may have two Mars thrusters and a Mars shield... they're leftovers from 4.79... Not worth the 11mil and the fuss, believe me.
