Director Reeves,

As per your request I am filing my survey report of miss Marissa Clarke. Me and my colleague agent Ranger have observed her over the extend of last week in which she did her very best to try and find clues about possible criminals she could take down. She came in contact with a man who called himself Jason, this was at a local pub on planet Pittsburgh. She offered him the job to locate local criminals that are operating in human trafficking on Pittsburgh. Lacking the funds for this mission as she was given minimal means to accomplish her task she dared to give the men a reward other than credits. She appeared to be convincing enough and the man took the job offer. They stayed together for one night in a hotel near one of the spaceports and in the next morning they parted ways again. She had given him the assignment to locate people and make a list.

Jason came through on the deal and handed her a list of possible targets a day later. How he exactly obtained these names remains vague and Clarke didn't see the need to investigate on the matter either. I however suggest to keep an eye on this man as he didn't seem to be using his real name but I'll come to that later. Clarke checked the list and decided to head to mining site 25 on Pittsburgh as this was one of the possible locations where there was activity of illegal human trafficking. The given information appeared to have been true as me and my colleague escort Clarke to the site in a civilian freighter.

At the site we observed the area and found clues of an operation being underway. Civilians were seen in containers and several armed men were spotted in the vicinity of the mine. While regular mining operations continued undisturbed, Clarke decided to move in. For the occasion we gave her a sidearm that could be remotely controlled just in case she decided to use it against the wrong people. A control tower on the site was her target as several armed men had been spotted, as an extra an LPI officer that appeared to be assisting the smugglers was also spotted in the area. Heading into the tower Clarke tried to apprehend the men but was outgunned and chased out by a firefight. As shots were fired I opened fire from an overwatch position to ensure no civilians would end up getting harmed, it also served as covering fire for Clarke. However there was no way for me to step in and evade her getting hit as she made a run for it.

Jason has apparently followed Clarke to the site as well in his own vessel, he came to her aid. At first I assumed he would try to bail her out but they seemed to be determined to take down these slavers. While he secured her position I ended up coming under fire and had to retreat to as safe distance. Clarke kept communications with me while the local authorities had been notified to head to the site as well. Clarke and Jason ended up breaching the control tower again and managed to apprehend the LPI officer that had been assisting the slavers. Furthermore they succeeded in locking down the freighter that was planned to take off with the civilians onboard. With the docking clamps locking it on the landing pad it was now possible for us to move in and arrest more armed men.

Timeline (local Pittsburgh time):
13:02      Arrival at mining site 25, shuttle was landed a mile away from the mining crater to remain hidden.
13:19      Overwatch position set up at the edge of the crater, Clarke moved in.
13:36      Clarke arrived at the controle tower and made entry.
13:41      Firefight ensued after Clarke tried to make an arrest.
13:42      Clarke left the building to seek cover.
13:51      Clarke and Jason regrouped and returned to the tower.
14:03      Arrest made in the control tower, LPI officer was secured.
          14:11      LPI reinforcements arrived.
14:28      Facility secured, all suspects neutralised.
14:31      Jason and Clarke received medical attention and were taken off the scene.

Performance summary:
       - Determined  Clarke proved to show no signs of giving up even though she had suffered her injured in the very first gunfight.
       - Reckless  even though the odds were against her she still went in without much communication, possibly not used to working in a team.
       - Aim  is very basic. Some shots she should've hit as an agent but this can be due to inexperience with the hardware.
       - Convincing  she proved to persuade this Jason easily and managed to get intel in a relatively short amount of time.
       - Social  she used all possible routes to gain what she was after, her social skills proved to be invaluable in that matter.

Mission results summary:
       - Arrests    Daniel Lewis Ship captain, Megan Lewis LPI officer, 5 suspects who have to be ID'ed
       - Deaths    9 possible suspects were killed during the firefight
       - Injured    Marissa Clarke and Jason suffered gunshot wounds, 2 suspects were injured.

Agent Clarke received a gunshot wound to her abdomen and was in bad shape when she was found in the control tower. Jason also suffered a gunshot wound but it wasn't severe and he was able to fly his own vessel back to Manhattan, escorting the shuttle with Clarke onboard. Once at Manhattan she was brought to Northport Medical Center and was taken into surgery. Currently she's recovering and the doctors explained that she will recover, however there has been permanente damage to her liver. She is required to remain at the hospital for at least three days before she can be moved.

Considering her background she performed under my expectations as I assumed she would have had more experience in the field, however her determination seemed to overshadow everything. Once she is recovered enough to be moved she will be moved back to her safe house to await further evaluation.

As for Jason, I'll be running some background checks to find out who this person really is.
