General Drake is stable, but has been medically relieved of duty for the time being. The prognosis is that he will absolutely make it, but he may not be the same afterwards, those damned savages did a number on him.

My first act as acting General of the Legion Etrangere is to extend my most sincere condolences to the apparently reforming primary division of La Marine Royale Gauloise for the loss of their revered leader Alice Marie. The likes of her may never be seen again in our lifetimes.

However, the Bretonian thugs with the trappings of government probably assume us to be paralyzed with fear for them having actually pulled off their dastardly scheme, though my analysts advise me that it was merely fortunes of war, that they will be wholly unprepared for our vengeful retaliation upon their private repressors calling themselves the Armed Forces.

One more issue I would like to address. I would like to remind our personnel to be a little nicer to civilians. Yes, you know they are uneducated savages. However, they are uneducated savages who dream of someday being Gallic.
