To: The Council Leadership [C] | From: The Gallic Brigands, Zero | CC: Remy Moreau - Laz - 08-24-2017 Bonjour! Nous sommes Nathen Roux Of Marne, et Remy Moreau of the Boulogne Smugglers, from The Free Brigands of Gallia. We met two of your pilots the other day in the Gers system. We are both in agreement and have to say it was being quite a pleasant day, until those Crayter fellas, or however they are called, came by. It has not been our first encounter with them. All of which have ended in direct conflict. This doesn't benefit anyone. This conflict not only disrupts our business outside of Gallia but it also strengthens the Navy's claim on the area, as the few who oppose them bicker with one another instead of focusing on the real threat in the region. For this reason, we'd like to ask if The Council would be willing and able to soothe this small conflict between the Brigands and the Crayter. The terms of a ceasefire would need to be discussed, but we'd like to shoe in some compensation for them unjustly destroying our ships on numerous occasions. I, Zero, am normally quite calm and understanding of such situations, and I don't always try and get every extra credit. Yet these damages were very costly so it would only be fair since we acted in self-defence. We are opposed to the Gallic Royal Navy and we raid their supply convoys wherever possible, but these acts by the Craytarians, who are supposedly their mortal enemies, only seem to give the GRN more power and reduce our influence within the Taus, which is key to gaining more ground and support towards the Sirian Sector. We lack much presence within the Taus so when our scout ships are harassed by these Craytayrian fools they are stopping us from recognising our true, mutual, enemy - the GRN. We're not trying to make this sound preachy, but we believe in good business and the Council and The Free Brigands of Gallia stretch back centuries. Nous aimerions te remercier for reading, and hope this leads to a mutually beneficial resolution. Signed, Zero

Messieurs Roux et Moreau, It's pleasant to see the Brigands to rise up from the shadows once again, I hope you will stay a bit longer than your predecessors as I prefer Council having more persistent partners rather than brief ones. It's less pleasant, however, to hear about two of our allies struggling with eachother instead of our common enemy, the Royal Navy. With the Crayter Military et Republic we have a long common history of assisting eachother against the GRN, by my experiences of the last few years they are intelligent enough to understand if there is a misunderstanding et they are shooting the wrong people. From your words I assume you made contact with them over this issue before turning to us for mediation, et I also assume this is just a misunderstanding from how you presented the situation. If this would indeed be the case, however, the problem shouldn't persist. Could you share a bit more details about the situation, the initial conflict et the response of Crayterians to you explaining yourselves? Sincèrement, Général Pierre LaFlamme Du Conseil Général en Chef Du Conseil Piéce(s) jointe(s):
● N/A RE: To: The Council Leadership [C] | From: The Gallic Brigands, Zero | CC: Remy Moreau - Shalo - 09-05-2017 Salut, mon amies. Nathen asked me to talk to you about these crayterians, as apparently he doesn't like to admit that he has lost as many ships to them as I have. He is very prideful in that sense. The first time we met them was only a short distance from Freeport 6. They approached us and, after a while, a few pilots from the Marine Royale Gauloise came as well, looking to destroy a few fighters, in the name of their beloved roi. Obviously, we engaged the navy pilots alongside the crayterians. The next few times we met the crayterians, they were far more agressive towards us. We tried to reason with them, at first, but being gallic and being known as a group of criminals, they didn't listen to us. Besides the last time we saw them, near some members of The Council, our encounters with them have always ended in us having to defend ourselves. À bientôt! |
