Possible Connection Issues - stardust47 - 08-28-2017

I can get to the character selection screen, but when I try to load my character it doesn't work. I have successfully connected exactly once, my issue is doing so reliably. There's no Discovery-specific error message, it just displays the 'this is taking a while' message and then goes to 'Could not connect'.

The character's name is Anissa.Sterling, if that helps at all.

I tried to look into it. You are not banned.

RE: Possible Connection Issues - stardust47 - 08-28-2017

I've reset my router, that did nothing. Is there anything else that might be causing it? I am almost certain that I am using the correct version of Discovery, but I will do a clean install just to be sure.

EDIT: Clean install has not solved it. My installer is discovery_4.88.1.exe, if that helps at all.

Still having problems. If it's a problem at my end, what more could I do to try and identify what's going on?

This is getting ridiculous.

It isn't a ban, as the admins have told me.
It's not my firewall, turning it off does nothing.
It's not a version issue, as I have the same version installed as the server.

I tested the connection using WinMTR, can someone translate the results into plain English?

EDIT: THe isp of where I am now is Origin Broadband. I don't know much about them, but if anyone else has any experience with them that would be most appreciated.

RE: Possible Connection Issues - stardust47 - 08-31-2017

UPDATE: I am now in a different place with a different ISP, and it works fine now.

RE: Possible Connection Issues - Skorak - 08-31-2017

Perfect! Thanks for telling us what the problem was.
I checked even older files and could find no reason for it otherwise.
