Forums crash when trying to acces the Faction Status - Shelco - 09-30-2017
Is that normal? The forum crashes almost all the time, sometimes it doesn't though. Is there a way to fix this?

As far as I am aware it's an issue pretty much everyone has. No fix was found so far, usually it needs 3-4 times to reload to work.

It happen to me several times in the last week. About 2 or 3 times a day I get the Cloudfare that says that the webserver is down. It usually lasts for about 2-3 minutes.

I'm aware of it... Haven't figured out exactly what is wrong yet. Something to do with the API - IIRC it just hangs in response to the requests that the forum extension sends it, eventually causing a timeout not at our web server, but at the Cloudflare level.

According to what I heard from Alley, the faction API refreshes every fifteen minutes and it does so for quite a long time. I'm not really sure how that's possible (and why that would block accessing it, unless it's been written synchronously which sounds like a terrible idea) but I suppose that might be the reason. I have that issue when trying to connect through the api with my Discord bot.
