Job Specification.
Dear marketers,

Current Projects

Storage upgrade
Little Silver Station is most of the way through completing a storage module, this project has fallen behind and is now overdue, completing this project will give you more space on the station and make it's day-to-day running a lot easier.

Inter-faction communications and marketing
Our venture is fully dependant on the sale of commodities and services from Little Silver Station, you have the ability to store large amounts of ore and service vessels in need of repair or refueling. Although you have a large fleet at your disposal to move the goods for a Limit| controlled profit, these operations alone will not catapult you into success. You should, at every point look to increase our standing with other house corporations so that they will also purchase the goods and services we can provide.

Little Silver Station is relatively unknown within Kusari Space, In order for us to gain some publicity, you should consider posting our information and opening up a recruitment office on one of Planet New Tokyo's many business districts.

Responsibilies
Modular upgrades
Little Silver Station has the basics completed but it does have the capacity to install many more modules, I would suggest relying heavily on the existing team for advice on what to construct and when as up to this point they would have had to live with the bare basics. The progression of the base's construction will be your second highest Key Performance Indicator(KPI), just behind profit.

Daily Upkeep
You will be expected to ensure that the station and its crew have the basics required to survive. Every 5 days the station and its crew will require the following items:
4,800 units of each Kyushu Rice, Oxygen and Water, which will cost the station a total of $12,000,000 every five days.
The station is in a constant state of repair, as expected it will also require 43,200 units of Reinforced Alloy at a cost of $75,600,000 every five days. A total running cost of $17,520,000 every day.

Platinum Ore
One of Little Silver Stations most popular products is unrefined Platinum Ore which can be obtained from the Nagano System. It is highly recommended that you ensure that the station has adequate supply to meet the demand from the traders that currently purchase from the station as well as what is required from Limits own trading operations.

Investigate ways to increase the stations profit and viability
As previously noted, the station currently costs $17,520,000 every 24 hours and with the profit margins as they currently are the station would need to sell 60,000 platinum ore every 5 days in order to remain profitable. As CEO it is your job to increase profits and to ensure that there is no 30 day period where the operation makes a loss. We have outlined these suggestions on ways to increase the station's profits.

Lower supply cost, by purchasing goods in large quantities you should be able to drive down their price. If using an internal team of haulers and miners to supply the base you could also decrease their current pay scale.

Decrease base maintenance costs, the station currently pays quite highly and possibly over the odds for Reinforced Alloy and Kyushu Rice. The station is fully dependant on these products but you should investigate if we can lower the cost of Reinforced Alloy and find possible alternatives to Kyushu Rice.

Increase the sale price Platinum Ore, this move may be a risky one as you would need to ensure that the new price did not affect the current demand. The station currently sells the Ore for $3,000 per unit which is as affordable and has been the standard price for most raw ores across Sirius but due to our unique location, you may be able to increase the sale price slightly without affecting the amount of ore sold.


Clear communications
The Station has been running on an ad-hoc and very unorganised system of dealing with problems as they occur, with an experienced CEO on board we expect to see clear reports setting out how much ore the base has sold within the monthly period as well as precise breakdowns of running costs. The Board would also need to be informed of any issues should you be able to deal with them and any opportunities that will require more funds than what is already at your disposal.


Remuneration
You will receive a period pay packet based mostly on the stations profit over that time period and the progress of the projects that have proven to be worthy of their costs. Background checks maybe required before applications reach their final stage.
