It is our belief that the purges that immediately followed the Nomad War, were politically motivated purges mimicking the expulsion of the National Trade Unions directly following the Eighty Years War, removed with the fall of the Kaiser. Since the new regime had everything to gain by branding every single officer of the Honshu battlegroup as subverted aliens, and thus, persona-non-grata, they needed little licence to subject all that arrayed against them to summary execution at all levels of the military-political-economic apparatus.
