As you are all probably more involved in the situation around diplomatic relations around Freeport 11, I'm sure there's no need to remind you of how the Corsair Empire intends to treat the Ingenuus Research Group. In light of the high possibility of armed conflict, we'd like to make a request. If the Core is willing, I'd like to train a specialist group of Zoners to be crew aboard a specialized vessel. Typically, "Zoner" and "Combat Specialist" are not used in the same sentence, but Zoners at war are also extremely uncommon. Personally, I'm unsure if the title of "Zoner" is fitting anymore with the enemies we have made. If the Core will grant this request to take on and train a crew, including myself, on more proficient use of capital vessel systems, this would further solidify our Group's faith in the peace Core has chosen to extend. I have been accused of warmongering in the past, but blatant disregard of our sovereignty followed by sanctions and demands is no way to maintain peace. No party in the Edge Worlds has a clean record; the actions taken going forward are all that matter as we strive for prosperity and peace. I don't expect that the Order or Corsair Empire will see the Ingenuus Research Group on neutral terms at any point in the near future. Thus we must make necessary preparations. Safe travels, Dr. James Erzie Director; Acting CEO Ingenuus Research Group RE: To: The Core || From: Ingenuus Research Group - Backo - 11-17-2017 :::[INCOMING TRANSMISSION]::: :::[ESTABLISHING CONNECTION]::: :::[TRANSMISSION STABLE: LIVE]::: ID: Eliza Valdez Location: Yaren Base, Omicron Delta Subject: RE: Request ENCRYPTION: INMEMECABLE Good day Dr. James Erzie, You are right that the Core is well aware about the Corsair Empire's stance towards the Ingenuus and yourself as their leader. We are also aware that the Golanski's terrorists have also stated their demand for your head on a silver platter. We have actively pushed our demand that should Delta want to see peace both groups mentioned above should drop any and all hostilities towards the Ingenuus Research Group. Rest assured the Core does not turn their back to friends and allies and while some other entities were ready to sacrifice you in the name of their peace, we will continue to fight so that you and all those others who were wronged in Freeport 11 and Carthage's defense will live to see justice for what they've been put through. Luke Shaw, the hero and commander of the Core fleet during the first assault of Carthage, has personally volunteered to oversee the combat training of your personnel so rest assured you will be in very capable hands of a tactical mastermind. He is briefed of the situation and will be expecting them to arrive on Alabama Shipyard within the coming days. Keep in mind that we are currently in the calm before a storm and time is very crucial. The sooner you get your men there, the more time they will have for training under his guidance. Finally we are really glad that recent events in Delta have not shattered our mutual cooperation and can only hope that this will only further solidify the newfound mutual coexistence and peace between the Core and the Zoners of the Omicrons. - Eliza Valdez Secretary of the Guildmistress :::[CLOSING TRANSMISSION]:::

We will be en route through the resting hours of our crew, and we will make preparations for our supraluminal transit with our night shift. When the crew is rested and ready, we will make a coordinated jump to meet The Core at Alabama Shipyard. Note that this jump will not be made within the system itself, but a system bordering it. Please inform Luke Shaw that we will be arriving approximately 14 hours from the time of this communique. We will also bring supplies to replace what is used in the exercises, as to preserve resources. We do realize that the Core is well supplied, but we believe it is only common courtesy and healthy business practice to value resources at all levels. I do look forward to what lies ahead with great anticipation. Surely we can accomplish much with simple cooperation. Best of luck, Dr. James Erzie Director; Acting CEO Ingenuus Research Group |
