I must thank you for that invitation and for the chat we both had on that liner. It made me more easy to think about my life as a Gallic refugee. I... became more heartwarmed by what you said. You're one of the very first guys not just to get their stuff done and get rid of me afterwards. Like you said, I am that fly which was caught by the fly trap. And it, indeed, didn't open at all. Thank you. You are a very charming man, even out of your Navy uniform. You didn't leave the access code for your quarters on the liner, so I came back to my flat on Manhattan. But even if you did - I wouldn't just butt into your room just like that. Although it would be really tempting to do so. I bet I could feel safe around you.

It is true I at least try to success in the rather new enviroment. Before I met you, I pretty much got sunk into the Manhattan's sin and misery. Ironically, there is even a bar called New Orleanais, which was my primary place to... meet guys. But so far, no one ever been so kind like you. I think we chatted about it long enough. And I pretty much think that we need a proper... uh... dinner. Yeah, dinner. We should meet up again some time soon.

Oh right, I forgot about one thing. Before the Liberty Law had been changed, I ordered myself Sunbeam, you know, that Gallic Civilian light vessel. However, by the time the order had been realized by some guys from Barrier Gate Station, the laws in regard to Gallic Civilian technology changed severly and I am pretty much unable to get myself that ship into Liberty due to the newest regulations in regard to the changes. What should I do in such a case? If not the chat with one of Junkers, I would never know about such a change since it went heavily unnoticed - at least by me - in the CNS news.

I know that my place in Lower Manhattan has some nice restaurants and it would be pretty nice place to visit one and relax. Due to increased populance of Gallic refugees, some of Libertonians started to call the area around it Small Paris. While it does sound like a ghetto, it's not that bad... Yet land prices dropped in here and LPI and LSF presence is obvious to be in such a place. I mean, LPI is pretty harsh in here - but could be worse. I think I already got used to that.

As for the Sunbeam, I'll have to deal with Libertonian paperwork in here, it seems. Nothing too hard... I hope. But worth trying.

Oh yes. Through one of the Rogues - no worries, I do not supply or cooperate with them - who happens to have Brigand buddies in Gallia, I got myself a fine Gallic wine right from Ile-de-France. I didn't open it yet, but it is so tempting to do so right now. I am peeking at it again and again, smiling as I recall myself that heavenly taste.

So there was a weird accident with some odd Bustard that happened to have a jumpdrive. I ended up in a system that is called Omicron Delta. The captain, who hadn't really planned to get anyone onboard, quickly realized his mistake and took me back to New York. Before that however, I visited Freeport 11 and I got you an small gift you'll really love. Damn, I got really scared over there, ending up like... somewhere I hadn't even heard about. Place was scary enough itself.

Oh, and thank you for the keycard. I found myself a way into your room on the liner and found some courage to move out from my flat on Manhattan. I hated the place already. But now I'll need to find a work to pay out my part of the rent. I'll be awaiting in the room for the rest of the weekend, if that's fine for you.
