power plant issue questions I need answered - OrignlGaminGeneration (OGG) - 12-01-2017
Every time I get a new ship from different regions I always get the "power plant reduced to 75% or 90%. Is there a list somewhere that gives you a heads up or do you have to buy from the base, NPC faction equipment dealer or region of space where ship was purchased? Also Do you have to take the scanner, engine and shields that came with ship even if you have that on current ship? I hope someone has these answers. Thank you for your time.

Rule of thumb: If you want to play a certain ship, always play it with the fitting faction and the fitting weapons.

It depends on the ID you have, the ship and its guns. You can see exactly what combinations to use here:

The leftmost column refers to your ID and the row along the top refers to what percentage you will get with the listed ships and equipment. For example, using the Molly ID, having Gallic civilian weapons on your ship will reduce your core regen to 75%.
